We used to listen to politicians, and laugh at comedians, but now they are both laughable professions. Both politicians and comedians have become the laughing stock, especially in the Philippines.

That's very funny, Harry, especially in the time of COVID when tens of thousands test positive, and more than a hundred die everyday. Confirmed pa lang yan, Harry....and we're testing way below the recommended level. Idagdag mo na rin diyan yung hundreds of billions in mismanaged or missing funds plus trillions in debts that in just 5 years doubled the level in June 2016.

Saka na lang namin pagtatawanan yung mga jokes mo, Harry, kapag nakakulong ka na sa bilibid kasama ng mga kaibigan mong kurap din.

Have you noticed it that Roque is less combative nowadays when he speaks to press? It all started when the government nominated him to UN-ILC, short of saying, "No, Harry! You are NOT included in the administration's senatorial ticket.

Hindi lang siya mataba, Pambansang Tagapagsinungaling pa. Ang tataba na nga ng mga bulsa ninyo, pati ang mukha ninyo... makakapal.

Sabihin niya rin kay Mr. President na huwag na rin punahin ang buhok ni Lacson, baka magpalit pa ng wig si Roque..

Simply saying that he has no right criticizing others' physical features when he is in fact the ugly one (sa isip, sa wika at sa gawa).

Ganyan naman kasi kapag wala ng matalinong maisasagot. Manlait na lang sila. O kaya magbanta ng pananakit at rape. May pinagmanahan ang mga DDS.

Oh di ba ang sabi no Roque, "you cannot teach an old horse new tricks" pero kapag natamaan na siya ng mga patama ng amo niya ay lumalaban sa mga tumutuligsa sa kanya, iiyak din naman pala siya. Tapos pagsabihan na din niya. The clownery!

Gitna ng pandemya, ang dami na namatay sa Covid at ang daming mga tao na kumakalam ang sikmura, pero inuuna pa nila ang landian nila ng amo niyang payaso.

Patawa talaga sila. 

Ang issue ay yung nakawan sa gobyerno at hindi yung katabaan ng kahit nino.

Wala kaming pakialam sa katabaan nila, at nabulgar na love triangle nila Duque, Duterte at Go.

Palalim ng palalim ang pinag-uusapan nila. Ibigay na nila yung benepisyo ng mga health workers, dahil hindi na nakatutuwa ang pinaggagawa ng mga opisyal ng gobyerno.

Ang dali lang pala ng solusyon sa naghihingalong ekonomiya at patuloy na pandemya..COMEDY lang mula sa Duterte administration.

Three-year study shows hope for Pinoy STEM students

In cooperation with The University of the Philippines College of Mass Communication Foundation, Inc. (UPCMCFI), the Department of Science and Technology – Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI) recently released the preliminary findings of an ongoing comprehensive three-year study on the attitudes of K-12 students towards science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) subjects in school.

These early results, published in a report entitled, “Appreciating Science:
A Project on Perception of Science Among Filipino K3 to K6 Students in the Philippines (Year 1)” were presented at a roundtable discussion held online on August 26, 2021.

A survey of over 1,000 grade school students across the country in K3 to K6 levels found that the children had “a neutral to positive attitude, awareness, and knowledge” of science despite the subject’s perceived difficulty. “There was no negative response attributed to statements related to science,” the researchers added.

However, focused group discussions (FGDs) found that students possessed only a shallow understanding of science. “While most of them recalled terms that were taught inside the classroom, they did not know how to characterize, explain, and even relate these with one another. They have difficulty in absorbing science concepts and thinking about them in creative and innovative ways,” they noted.

The researchers found that the students preferred a more learner-centered approach to teaching science, in which they are encouraged to ask questions and to seek answers for themselves. They capped their preliminary report by underscoring the need for a more interactive approach to teaching STEM, facilitated by competent and knowledgeable teachers; parental support; and real-world examples. “Both survey and FGD results confirm that motivation and inclination of the students to pursue Science is not limited to the classroom,” the researchers pointed out.

“The DOST is always trying to find avenues for this kind of collaborative research that will help us make science work for the people. We are particularly concerned about recent reports that Filipinos are not doing well in STEM, aggravated by the pandemic,” DOST Sec. Fortunato De La Peña said. “We hope that this helps strengthen our approach in building a science culture where learning is prioritized and interest in science is maintained.”

The entire study is expected to be completed in 2022. Meanwhile, the full 2021 preliminary report shall be available soon in both UPCMCFI and DOST-SEI’s websites.

"The Philippines' COVID-19 death toll is lower compared to other countries, says President Rodrigo Duterte a day after the Philippines recorded 22,366 new cases, the highest since the pandemic began in March last year."

After the country recorded a new all-time high of new cases, President Rodrigo Duterte said the Philippines' COVID-19 death toll is lower than other countries' fatalities — a remark that drew flak.

Each time he opens his mouth, he proves to the world that he has the LOW INTELLECT of someone who needs 7 years to pass 4 years of high school.

He cannot even speak a proper sentence. Wth. Those were lives lost, not just numbers.

Also, paano sagutin kung walang walang maisip na tamang sagot? Eto strategy ni Duterte:

1) i-bash ang kritiko

2) sisihin ang nakaraang administrasyon

3) murahin ang sitwasyon

4) ikumpera ang sitwasyon sa mas malalang bansa.

Anything to deflect the blame from his ineffectiveness. His ego and pride always comes first. No sense of accountability at all. Change scamming.

For this old, useless, and incompetent man, our lives are just numbers.

Say that in front of the families whose loved ones they lost to COVID.

Did this dude even check the current data? Sa buong Asia Pacific tayo may pinaka madaming deaths and soon baka maging epicenter pa tayo. Tanginang presidente toh, ni hindi aware sa mga current na datos.

Is he even aware that the whole world has reopened schools and we are one of the five last countries to do so. Huli na naman tayo! Number one lang sa corruption.

America? Yung bansang may apat na time zone sa laki ikukumpara sa Pinas. Hahaha!

Huwag  magkalat ng Fake News!

Europe is not suffering. Ok na ok ang pamumuhay nila sa Europe. Walang lockdown at ECQ at kung ano ano pati face shields.  Saan ba niya nakuha yang ganyang Report? 

North and South America, Europe are continents. Hindi po continent ang Pilipinas. Malamang mas madami po ang total deaths on those continents compare sa Pilipinas. 

Ganyan talaga mangatwiran ang mga inutil. Maghahanap ng pagkukumparahan para hindi magmukhang malala.

Focus on our own country. Anu yam statement na pampalubag loob? 

So dapat ba ay magpasalamat pa kami kasi "konti" lang ang namatay?

One death is too many especially if it is because of your incompetence… You better step down immediately.. Don't wait for the election, you'll never win unless you cheat or manipulate a failed election.

People here are indignant because the president has just downplayed the deaths of more than 30,000 of  Filipinos. That is why there is a deluge of negative reactions. Do not justify the president's incompetence by pointing out that other countries are faring much worse.

The Western countries have nearly moved on from this pandemic while PH is still going on a never ending lockdowns and living like a hermit with the border always closed. The UK is 100% open and the people there live free with no fear of the virus anymore.

Quit blaming Filipinos for this virus. It’s the only country in the world that requires face shields. Enough of this NONSENSE! How many more years of this nonsense that DOES NOT WORK??? All you can do is blame THE PEOPLE?  Do you think people want to be living in lockdown, losing their jobs, the economy destroyed, losing their freedoms, wearing face shields and then after almost 2 years it accomplishes nothing but a waste of time and money? The virus will never be eradicated! Time to move on with life and stop all these STUPID PROTOCOLS.

And still the fact remains that there are billions of anomalous spending under this government’s watch. 

Ghost hardwares? Napkins for OWWA? Philhealth’s unpaid hospital debts, choosing the controversial Pharmally (a new company who grabbed billions worth of government projects, and edged out its competitors who have track records and years of experience in government dealings!) and the list goes on. Yet we're okay with all these? LOL!
