Duterte threatens to defund UP, redtags university as recruiter of communists

President Duterte threatened to defund the University of the Philippines over calls for academic strikes to protest the government's alleged failure to respond to the  calamities.

The campaign, however, originated from Ateneo de Manila University, not UP. 

Duterte to UP students: "Fine, maghinto kayo ng aral. I will stop the funding. Wala ng ginawa, kundi mag-recruit ng mga komunista diyan."

"Wag kayong pumasok. I suggest to you, stop schooling until mabakunahan lahat ng Pilipino and you wait another typhoon and see if the help that we extend is enough to your satisfaction."

Roque: Wag naman Pres. iba yung sinabi ko sa kanila baliktad, pag d cla pumasok, 'babagsak sila.' lol.

Mababaliw na naman si Roque ka ka explain nito bukas. Lalo na yung kay Leni. 

Students apply what they learn in school. And know their rights that's why they see the problem in the Government. Pera mo o pera ng taong bayan?

Bold of Duterte to say that he'll stop the funding. Bakit pera ba niya ang nagpapaaral sa kanila? He is just afraid to be defeated by well-educated, disciplined, responsible and brave young Filipino students.

And yes of course, the obligatory blanket rеdtаgging of UР studеnts on nаtional broаdcast.

This is why I wasn't too worried about the rеdtаgging issue from a few days ago lmaaaaooo we're so used to them already.

I'm actually genuinely kinda curious what's gonna happen if he really attempts to shut down UP.

Don't act as if pera mo ginagamit. The funds aren't yours, Sir. Nothing's yours, actually.

As if pera mo! Kapal ng libag sa mukha! #nasiraanangpangulo #DuterteMeltdown  nilustay mo pera ng bayan sa mga palpak mong proyekto, trolls mo at kabaliwan mo. Pati yung pamasahe mo pabalik balik sa davao every weekend tapos aasta ka na akala mo may inambag ka sa kaban ng bayan.

Bakit parang kasalanan namin na butthurt ka sa mga kritisismo ng mga tao? And again pera mo ba ginagamit ng UP? Galing yan sa tax ng taong bayan na mostly ay na misuse ninyo nga.

Why do you consider yourself as an influencer? Is it because of your thousands of followers? Or how you influence others? If it’s the latter, then what do these people influence? I don’t even know most of them.

Influencer ka kahit wala naman talagang influence na pinapakita puro pa aesthetic at pacute lang.

Just because it’s quarantine hanggang TikTok na lang yung naaabot ng capabilities ng karamihan. I too never saw that coming. I wonder how it would be kapag natapos itong pandemic.

If you don't do those, then, you're NOT an INFLUENCER – you're just another INTERNET PERSONALITY with a TikTok, YouTube, IG, & Twitter.

#DuterteMeltdown tops Twitter trends after the President ranted against VP Robredo and falsely claimed she made it appear that he was missing in action during the typhoon.

#DuterteMeltdown is trending because Duterte is throwing another major temper tantrum due to Leni's skyrocketing popularity.

HE JUST HATES IT WHENEVER LENI OUTSHINES HIM.

The Egotistical Man-Child of Malacañang is having a nervous breakdown, b/c Leni keeps stealing his thunder.

The country witnessed how the president put his own agenda first before the nation's, in the middle of a pandemic, right after the onslaught of strong typhoons, that made thousands of Filipinos lost their homes, livelihoods, and loved ones.

He was addressing the vice president instead of addressing the nation.

Whenever Duterte does presscons, he always places blame on others.

He wants to project an image of  infallibility. But truth is–it's just his fragile ego/insecurities talking.

Because we all know na siya yung presidente ng classroom natin na maramdamin kapag may maingay.

Siya rin yung kaklase mong puro utos ng mga dapat gawin sa classroom. Tapos kapag natapos na at maganda ang resulta ng pinagawa niya, ang galing mag-Credit Grab eh wala naman siyang naitulong doon.

Siya rin yung kaklaseng galit sa mga kaklaseng may ginawa at naisa-submit kapag hinahanapan ng teacher ng schoolwork.

Duterte knows that time is limited for wrath and anger shall be upon him soon, he is aware that the true inclination of the people is far from him, and this is causing him to panic.

He always spews toxic mud. Always blaming others. Not taking any accountability at all.

Hindi daw kaya ng pride niya na may ibang mas sikat sa kanya.

The sad part is, the DDS still fall for it. Gurl, patapos na ang 2020, magkaroon ka na ng character development.

VP Leni Robredo, with all her receipts and clapbacks is living rent-free in Duterte's head.

What Duterte could have said during the nation address:

"I'm sorry for my negligence."

"This is what's currently happening." 

"This my plan and how we move forward." 

"We can get through this."

What Duterte actually said: 

"HUHUHUHUHUHUHUHUHUHU Leni pakyu."

Duterte is nothing but an icon of hate, insecurity, and incompetence.
