Do not wait for Masungi to be destroyed like what happened in the Islands of Manicani & Homonhon.  Open Pit Mining and on- going Mining in Homonhon Island.  Unfortunately,  DENR Region 8 gave a Cutting Permit to hundreds of trees given  to a Mining Concessionaire.  How on earth a government agency, is  giving a permit, to cut trees.

Scenario. The people of Homonhon Island is already experiencing lack of potable water, irrigation, their livelihood and destruction  of the historical Island. Even  the LGU of  Guiuan Officials cannot do otherwise,  especially if the order is from the higher ups. Only in the Philippines.

Dont get fooled by the pretext of "preserving" to actually land grabbing.
