FDCP Launches Dokyumentado Documentary Film Festival

The Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) proudly presents Dokyumentado, its inaugural documentary film festival, running from November 22 to December 7. The festival will feature screenings across FDCP’s Cinematheque Centres in Manila, Iloilo, Davao, Nabunturan, and Negros, as well as on Juanflix, FDCP’s streamingplatform.

Dokyumentado screenings will showcase a curated selection of short and full length documentary films from both established and emerging filmmakers. The lineup includes a range of local programming and shorts, offering audiences a comprehensive view of documentary storytelling. Aside from screenings, the festival will host a number of panel discussions and talkback sessions to provide audiences with a deeper understanding of the art and impact of documentaries.

With Dokyumentado, the FDCP aims to spotlight the documentary film genre as a dynamic medium for raising awareness, inspiring social change, and encouraging diverse perspectives.

Add a new member to your family! PETA Asia will be on-site to hold pet adoptions for adorable puppies. There will also be a Pet Blessing Ceremony at 5 PM on both days to celebrate the special bond between owners and their pets.

Let your pets play in the spacious, open grassy area—perfect for all pets. For some active fun, Coach Jon will offer a pet agility course and free obedience consultations to help you train your furry companions.

For bunny lovers, there’s a bunny meeting area by Bunnies of PH where you can interact with adorable bunnies. The fair will also offer a range of fun, pet-friendly contests and activities by our vendors, adding excitement for both pets and owners. Expect games, raffles, and giveaways throughout the weekend!

In partnership with PET WELLNESS HQ, we’re excited to offer 30 dogs FREE 5-in-1 vaccinations and 50 pets FREE deworming per day. This is a fantastic opportunity for pet owners to stay healthy and happy.

Support local pet vendors while exploring products from 20+ sellers, offering unique pet items from treats to toys. And the best part? Entry is FREE! The fair will run alongside the Greenfield Weekend Market, adding more food, fun, and festivities to the lively atmosphere.
