Replace Marcos with Ka Leody De Guzman for the presidential interviews

In other news, it would’ve been refreshing if GMA News also invited Ka Leody De Guzman to the debates so we can have someone else (other than VP Leni Robredo) slaughter Marcos Jr on national TV.

I’m pretty sure Isko, Pacman, and Ping wouldn’t have the balls to attack a leading candidate.

Okay. Enough of the #MarcosDuwag thing. So why is Leody De Guzman still excluded from the frame of those being interviewed by Jessica Soho?

"invited 5 of the highest ranking candidates?" ..... Aren't there just like six of them? Ka Leody has been excluded in a lot of mainstream media when the topic is about the presidentiables. You can't convince me that they aren't doing that shit on purpose.

I'm disappointed that Ka Leody was not invited to the GMA News presidential interviews. He would've elevated the discourse amongst the candidates.

Ka Leody deserves to be heard. Manggagawa naman!

Presidential aspirant Ka Leody de Guzman says he is interested in joining national debates as these will give voters “informed choice.” Says a candidate who is reluctant to engage in debates will likely hesitate in taking on serious responsibilities as government official.

"Nais kong iparating sa COMELEC at sa publiko ang aking interes na lumahok sa kanilang national debates. Tingin ko, tungkulin ng bawat kandidato na ipakilala ang kanyang sarili at kanyang plataporma sa mga botante upang magkaroon sila ng “informed choice” sa Mayo 2022.

Gaya ng sinasabi ko nun pa, ang mga debate at diskurso ay mas mainam na inoorganisa ng Comelec para sa “level playing field” para sa mga kandidato’t partidong kwalipikado ngunit kulang sa rekurso,

Lalo na yung ayaw magkaroon ng "utang na loob" sa mga makapangyarihang mga interes sa lipunan. Bahagi ito ng panukala kong electoral reforms.

Kung may kandidatong nag aatubiling humarap sa debate asahan natin na mas mag uurong-sulong sa mas mabibigat na responsibilidad bilang mataas na opisyal ng bansa, o maaring may itinatago sa sambayanan."

Limang kandidato lamang sa pagkapangulo ang inimbita para sa panayam ni Jessica Soho-- wala si Ka Leody.

Bakit hindi bigyan ng pagkakataon na magsalita ang mga ordinaryong tao upang ipaliwanag ang kanilang plataporma. Bakit sa mga kilalang tao lamang sila nakatuon?

Leody De Guzman is more worthy than Bongbong Marcos to be invited. At least he has a brain he chooses to use, a platform, and offers more than empty platitudes.

I really wish the media took ka leody more seriously as a candidate. Sayang kasi dahil napakaganda rin ng platforms niya and I do feel like we definitely need someone in the candidates to put forward concerns that come from the masses.

And compared to Bongbong Marcos, he takes this whole election much more seriously. Ewan ko ba kung bakit si Ka Leody pa yung kinoconsider na nuisance eh etong si Marcos, hindi na nga masyado kagandahan yung plataporma, duwag pa... but that's a rant for another day.

i know na top 5 presidential candidates lang ang target pero sana if may nag-decline, they could've invited Ka Leody since it'll be a big platform for him to pursue his advocacy. He's decent and genuine with his candidacy naman. Bongbong Marcos is more of a nuisance candidate.

Bigyan natin ng chance siya to deliver his platform on mainstream media. I know it's impossible to invite all of them, but why do they solely base it on the popularity rankings anyway— when it's out there in the open that some of the notorious ones aren't competent enough for the highest post?

Ka Leody De Guzman is a promising presidential candidate as well. Hindi man malakas ang makinarya, like the other candidates, this could not help him top surveys pero malakas naman points niya (platform), track record, and paninindigan! 

I'd rather watch a candidate I haven't heard of fend for themselves than spot a familiar face that isn't worth my time at all. Filipino voters are very much entitled to have that 'informed choice', if and only if the concerned agencies are willing to make it happen.

Replace Marcos with Ka Leody! We would love to hear his thoughts, platform, and how we would present himself in a debate against other candidates. As a labor leader, and underdog, fighting for the masses and workers this would be big!

Indeed Ka Leody deserves the platform but mainstream media is most probably too afraid for a socialist man to speak the truth.

Si Aling Gemma na nagviral after maglabas ng hinanakit laban sa COVID19 response ng administrasyong Duterte, pinaghahanap ng barangay chairman at mga pulis kaya hindi na makalabas ng bahay at makapaghanap-buhay nang dahil sa takot.

Bakit nila pinupuntirya ang isang ordinaryong mamamayan na nagsasabi ng katotohanan? Na ilang taon nilang ginagago, pinapahirapan at winawaldas ang pera ng taumbayan sa kalagitnaan ng pandemya?!

Ayaw ba nila ng real talk? Ang kaya lang ba ng gobyerno ngayon ay mangharass at manakot? ... May pandemya pa yan. Kaya ba sa military equipment nag i invest at hindi sa mga importanteng pangangailangan sa panahon ngayon?

Why does she have to apologise? yung presidente nga ay puro mura Ang bukambibig eh.

Kapag si Duterte ang nagmura ay OK lang at pinapalakpakan pa, pero kapag mahihirap ang napapamura sa bulok na sistema ng gobyerno, pinaghahanap ng pulis?

Ang lagay ba eh si Duterte lang ang maaaring magmura? Pero kapag kagaspangan ng ugali at bunganga ni Duterte, okay lang? Eh si ate nga may pinagmumulan 'yong galit niya.

Samantalang si Leni kapag minumura ng mga trolls ay hindi maaksyunan, but when it comes to ordinary person like this Aling Gemma, ang bilis aksyonan!

This is a democratic country, kaya karapatan ng bawat isa satin n maglabas ng hinanaing at saloobin kung paano tayo tinatrato ng gobyerno..This is another side of martial law.. Pati matandang walang kalaban-laban ay haharasin ninyo. Shame on you!

Maling-mali ito. Gising na! Hindi man katanggap-tanggap ang paraan ng kaniyang pagpapahayag ng kaniyang saloobin, walang mali sa pagpuna sa gobyerno. Bagkus, dapat tingnan ng gobyerno ang pinagmumulan ng ganitong klaseng hinaing.

Nagsasabi lang naman sya ng totoo. Anong masama dun?.. Lantarang pagbusal ito sa kalayaan ng mga tao na magpahayag ng kritisismo sa gobyernong pabaya.

Ganito ba ang gusto nyo madlang people? Na kahit hirap na hirap na kayo at wala na makain eh hindi pwedeng umalma at umangal kahit mamatay na kayo sa gutom? 

Ganito po ba ang gusto niyong buhay? Yung ipapahanap kayo ng pulis at barangay chairman dahil nag-air kayo ng saloobin niyo na against the government? 

Mag-isip isip na kayo at huwag na magpaloko. Sobrang tagal na ng 6 yrs at madagdagan pa kung magpaloko muli.

The fact na wala pang Martial law yet they can abuse this kind of authority means something. Sa mga nagbubulagbulagan dahil hindi makayang ibabaa ang ego nila, isipin ninyo ang magiging kapalit ng pag stand sa maling gawain.

Sana po pag isipan inyo. Baka dumating ang panahon makaranas kayo ng hirap pero di na kayo pwede dumaing.

The Duterte playbook. Takutin at harasin ang mga mahina at walang kaya. Sad but she dropped a lot of truth bombs.

Hindi ito tama. We should not be living in fear. I hope may nakareach out kay nanay to make her feel better/safe.

Bongbong Marcos declines presidential interviews

"Bongbong Marcos declined to show up for the GMA News Jessica Soho presidential interviews. In a teaser for tomorrow's full program, Soho says they invited the 5 highest ranking candidates but only Lacson, Moreno, Pacquiao and Robredo accepted.

We have been asking the Marcos camp if Bongbong Marcos will attend Comelec-sponsored debates, and followed up tonight why he declined GMA News' invite, but we have yet to get a response. We will update here when we get one."

I can’t believe I’m saying this but Duterte was right. He is really is a weak leader! Weak person nga. Hindi nya kayang humarap sa unscripted interview. Yung pagiging college dropout niya ay isa na ring palatandaan.

Yung gusto mag presidente pero debate at interview lang ay hindi magawa. Ang lakas magsabing ibabangon ang bayan eh sarili niya ay hindi makabangon man lang para sa simpleng interview.

Pero kapag Sonshine Media Network International, dadalo si Jr. for sure. Eh kasi naman, trending ang nagkakandautal-utal nya na pagsagot sa tanong ni Jessica Soho. Na-trauma yata.

Gusto niya kasi ay si Toni Gonzaga raw! Para petty questions lang. Yun lang ang kaya ni Junior! 

Nasaan na ba yung mga TikTok accounts na nagsasabing susupalpalin daw ni BBM si Leni Lugaw sa debates? Bahag ang buntot at takot pala.

Ano na naman kaya ang idadahilan nya this time? O, hahayaan niya lang yan na ang troll army niya gumawa ng dahilan? That’s the strategy. Let the pawns do the work. While he is at the comfort of his mansion (habang nasinghot) yung mga attack dogs, bayaran, at blind followers nya ang naharap sa laban.

Wala, hindi raw siya magdadahilan dahil "humble" kamo. Keme lang yung pa humble effect para maraming naMarcos.

Sabihin niyo kasi na may binyag or kasal para sumipot tapos on the spot interview/debate pala talaga... Charot!

Guni guni lang kasi ng mga supporter niya yung pagiging brilliant niya. Mabibisto na naman na wala talagang panlaban gaya noong 2016 VP debate. 

Because last 2016, Robredo roasted him in a debate and it crashed his candidacy and fortunately, natalo siya. We love it. We love seeing the Marcoses losing everything.

He is in politics for what... 20+ years? tapos tatay niya former president, and claim ninyo na he is very smart, pero irereject yung interview invitation dahil... pinagtulungan siya sa debate?

That's because that 64-year-old brat did not inherit even 1/3 of the oratorical skills of the late dictator. He just enjoys the benefits of having megalomaniac parents.

He does not even know his current events and issues. Puro motherhood statements ang banat.

Oh my, so mas mahusay pa mga college students na undergoing thesis? 

Funny how the one the Marcos supporters and DDS call “dumb” has more guts to show up, unafraid to answer questions. To all you believers of BBM, isip isip din kayo kung bakit laging no show ang manok ninyo. A leader should never be too scared to face his critics.

Takot si BBM magpa-interview kay Jessica Soho or sa Presidential debates because we all know he will choke and mauutal pag sumagot. Signs of a liar.

Jessica would ask him kung ano ang plataporma n’ya. Tatlo ang possible nyang maisagot. 1. Magkaisa 2. Babangon muli. 3. Nais makita ang mga ngiti ng Pilipino. I wonder if he can say that coherently, at the very least.

Less talk less mistake. Yan ang payo ng mga campaign managers, and let the trolls work. Walang authenticity, bad quality of a leader. Hindi pa halal pero nagtatago na. 

Ganyan ang strategy nila today. No ambush interviews and debates kasi alam nilang mahina talaga sa debate si Junior,  Takot mag-isa dahil usually kasi ay spokesperson niya nagsasalita sa mga issues laban sa kanya eh. Ayaw madulas yarn?

Ano ba iyan??? Will we actually settle with someone who cannot even attend the very important events such as the Zoom hearing with COMELEC and the Presidential interviews but could attend a "binyag"? This is what happens when the candidate is not willing to be accountable.

I-take advantage ito ng lahat ng kalaban. Kung dito pa lang ay hindi na niya kaya harapin, what more yung problema ng bansa.

Ang narrative nila this halalan ay gawing inaapi at kinakawawa si Junior to get more sympathy.

And this is what I'm afraid of. Pavictim na naman sila. Of course for us it only proves how incompetent, unreliable and coward he is. But for others, especially since pagkakatuwaan na naman to, papavictim sila. Inaapi. Kesyo ayaw ng "pagtatalo". 

Put this into perspective, mas okay pa si rastaman may episode sya sa KMJS at nailatag nya yun plataporma nya para sa bansa pero itong kinginang to, ayaw na ayaw ng impromptu. ayaw maexpose ng utak yarn?

I hope the Philippines would not settle with a President who would not attend hearings and debate but would rather attend binyag and wedding celebrations. We deserve so much better tama na ang 6 years with Duterte.

Humanap at pumili tayo ng lider na kayang humarap sa anumang batikos ng mamayan. Kayang sagutin ang mga katanungan na walang itinatagong katotohanan. Pagod na ang Pilipinas, huwag tayong magpakamang mang at magpabulag sa suhol ng kasinungalingan. Ang tao na nagtatago sa likod ng kasinungalingan ay hindi kayang harapin ang katotohanan.

Kung feeling sure win siya kaya ayaw umattend ng debate then somerhing smells fishy.. to think appointed lahat ni Duterte Yung mga nasa COMELEC.

Ahhh basta.. ibabangon nya daw ang bansa. Tapos! 

Tapos tayong lahat pag yan ang naging presidente. 

Also, GMA should give equal opportunity to all candidates and not just chose because of the survey results. Ka Leody is not included so this show technically robs the Filipino people of an opportunity to information.

Ka Leody deserves a spot there. It's time we give fair exposure to all the candidates.

Vital naman kasi ang debate kaya sana ay makapagparticipate lahat. At least people will know their side (issues), reforms for sustainability, awareness, viewpoints, comprehensive programs and etc..
