PNP-CIDG to file charges against Gwyneth Chua and others

The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group of the Philippines National Police (PNP-CIDG) says it will file charges against Gwyneth Chua and eight other people, including her parents and personnel of a quarantine hotel, for violating health protocols. 

PNP-CIDG will be filing criminal charges against Gwyneth Anne Chua, the controversial ‘Poblacion Girl’ who skipped the mandatory quarantine for returning Filipinos from abroad, and eight other people for violations of the health protocols.

PNP-CIDG: Gwyneth Chua was fetched by her father from Berjaya Hotel the night of her checkin on December 22, and was dropped off by her mother at the hotel December 25. Cases will also be filed against Chua's parents for violation of RA 11332. 

CIDG says a total of 9 people will be filed with the complaints, including hotel personnel. It's a test case of sorts because instead of Section 9, CIDG says the violation is Rule XI, Section 1(g)(iii) and (iv) of RA 11332 revised IRR.

CIDG says it has CCTV footage that will corroborate the testimonies of witnesses which include establishments, and concerned individuals. 

The CIDG, meanwhile, did not find sufficient evidence to file charges against the individuals who were with her during the party on December 23, 2021.

“Will be filing”… that’s how sluggish things really are in this country. Sana hindi puro press release lang.. I hope that the hotel gets sued too as they are also part of the sparking problem. Many heads must roll...not just one or a few.

To see is to believe. Baka mamaya pera pera lang din sila. Filing a case is one thing, maparusahan sila is another. Baka puro papogi lang. Kapag nalakad ng powerful na kakilala, maabswelto din iyan.

Yung mga sumundo sa kanya sa hotel should also be accountable as "accessory to the crime" alam na nilang galing US kinunsinti pa nila lumabas.

Naalala ko yung matandang jeepney driver na kulong agad. Kapag si Gwyneth Chua since mayaman... investigation.... kaso..... then later on dismissed, parang si Koko Pimentel...

The same to the couple and another woman who flaunted her photos while taking massage. Whether or not the quarantine "skippers" tested positive, they should be fully dealt with.

I hope they also dig in deeper whoever her so called “connections” are because who knows if those connections also made some participation for her to be that brave to violate the protocols. Those “connections” must be exposed as well.

Implementation is much appreciated on this matter! The government should really lift a finger fast !!

Gwyneth Chua can be convicted of the quarantine violations, but I doubt if she can be convicted of causing the actual spread of the covid to her friends, the science in the Philippines is not yet that precise.

The hate is justified but the issue goes well beyond a single civilian’s actions. this long into the pandemic & with developments like these, ano nga ba nagbago sa tugon ng gobyerno?

Biruin nyo nung simula ng pandemya nanawagan tayo ng #MassTestingNow, pero problema pa rin ngayon yung accessibility ng testing? Wala pa diyan yung accessibility ng vaccines.... especially for the provinces. Only NCR and the big cities of provinces are blessed with easy access to the vaccines.

Most importantly, we should vigilantly watch for violators who are known for their connections with politicians or anyone in this administration.

Let's monitor if justice will work on these privileged people. Later na natin palakpakan if IATF, DOT, PNP-CIDG, DOH did it already.

A man known for resorting to all kinds and types of fakery such as faking his college diploma, faking a story about the Tallano gold, faking his family's achievements will only be supported by fake followers in socmed and even in his caravans.

He can’t even debunk the Tallano Gold na pinaniwalaan ng karamihan sa inyo. Why is that? Anyways, we can’t respect someone who propagates corruption leaving seeds of destruction along the way. Sana mamulat pa mata ninyo that you support devils dressed as angels.

If dyunyor wins, it will be a bloodbath in stock market, it’s a sell-off. If VP Leni wins, it’s a buy!

The question is if the wealth were legit, where did it come from? Unless they believe in Tallano gold or some other nonsense, there is no way the Marcoses could've amassed that much money through legal means.

The prosecution could not continue with the criminal case kasi namatay kaagad si Marcos Sr. 

No body, noone to sentence.

In addition, there's RA 1379, an act declaring forfeiture in favor of the state any property found to have been unlawfully acquired by any public official or employee.

If the respondent is unable to show to the satisfaction of the court that he has lawfully acquired the property in question, then the court shall declare such property, forfeited in favor of the State, and by virtue of such judgment the property aforesaid shall become property of the State..." W/c means, prosecutors are not required to prove kung saang pondo ng govt nanggaling ang assets bec ang mga nakaw na yaman ay naccombine with other assets or nacconvert into cash or other forms. The government will just sum all assets--gross assets minus legitimate assets = assets for forfeiture to the government.

The one who concocted the TALLANO myth must be out of his mind. Of all the names he could chose, he chose one with sinister origin! 

Tallano is really a scam. It was created and perpetuated by land grabbing syndicates and magically metamorphosed into Marcos gold hoard.

They claim that 192k tons of gold without understanding the absurdity of that. For Tallano to 'lend' 640k tons to the Vatican would require almost 4x this much storage space and at least 10 trips for the biggest ship built then to ferry it across the world. 

I can't believe that there are people who believes that the "Tallano gold" exist.. like girl you need therapy.

If I had the Tallano gold, I’d invest it in building a Filipino-owned corporation; then hire Filipino workers and contribute to improving the economy.

Alam nyo kung ano pa yung mga effortlessly likeable? Mga BUDOL BUDOL. If it's too good to be true, then it must be a scam.

Kris Aquino shares health update and reveals break-up with Mel Sarmiento

Mel Sarmiento is nowhere to be seen on Kris Aquino’s Instagram page right now, after the Queen of All Media seemingly deleted all her fiancé’s photos from her account.

And true enough, may hiwalayan nga! 

Kris has finally broken her silence with a post seeking to address all rumors about why she deleted photos of Mel Sarmiento on her Instagram account. 

Kris also disclosed that her health has continued to deteriorate, saying she will soon fly abroad to get tested and find answers for her autoimmune conditions.

"I have accepted the TRUTH, many complications from having autoimmune may arise, especially because I am immunocompromised and we have been forced to live with a nearly two-year worldwide pandemic," she said.

'I do love you, but I guess this is goodbye,' Mel Senen Sarmiento tells Kris Aquino in a text message.

"[I] accept the fact that I already have a bubble fatigue and I will not be able to, sad to say, be able to continue living in a bubble [...] I cannot in conscience be able to accept that something will happen to you brought about my going out of the bubble," Sarmiento said.

"I will always cherish in my heart the happy moments we had together. I do love you, but I guess this is goodbye for your life is of greatest importance given that you have Bimby and Josh to take care of. You will forever be in my heart," his message added.

Aquino also disclosed that her health has continued to deteriorate, saying she will soon fly abroad to get tested and find answers for her autoimmune conditions. 

"I have accepted the TRUTH, many complications from having autoimmune may arise, especially because I am immunocompromised and we have been forced to live with a nearly two-year worldwide pandemic," she said. 

Aquino stressed that this will be the last time anyone will hear anything from her about Sarmiento, as she wants to "preserve whatever dignity [she] has left." She also asked for privacy and respect especially with her fight for her health.

Medyo mababaw yung dahilan --hindi maisakripisyo ang paglabas-labas?? Kahit hindi na for Kris' safety eh.. just the fact na may pandemya pa? Okay... but I guess hindi niya ganun kamahal si Kris, hindi sya maka-commit to care for her so he took the out he was offered (via Viber pa talaga). Hay naku Mel, magsama kayo ni Gwyneth. Mga layas kayo!

Akala ko pa naman sabi ni Kris si Mel na yung “Cory Aquino niya” kasi siya parang si Ninoy. Happy pa naman ako for them.. akala ko eto na finally.

Aquino announced her engagement with Sarmiento in October last year, calling him an “overall good and patient man.” Sarmiento, for his part, previously declared that he will spend the rest of his life with Aquino. 

Kris Aquino have been through so much. But one thing is consistent… she always prioritize her sons more than anything else.
