"The Philippines' COVID-19 death toll is lower compared to other countries, says President Rodrigo Duterte a day after the Philippines recorded 22,366 new cases, the highest since the pandemic began in March last year."

After the country recorded a new all-time high of new cases, President Rodrigo Duterte said the Philippines' COVID-19 death toll is lower than other countries' fatalities — a remark that drew flak.

Each time he opens his mouth, he proves to the world that he has the LOW INTELLECT of someone who needs 7 years to pass 4 years of high school.

He cannot even speak a proper sentence. Wth. Those were lives lost, not just numbers.

Also, paano sagutin kung walang walang maisip na tamang sagot? Eto strategy ni Duterte:

1) i-bash ang kritiko

2) sisihin ang nakaraang administrasyon

3) murahin ang sitwasyon

4) ikumpera ang sitwasyon sa mas malalang bansa.

Anything to deflect the blame from his ineffectiveness. His ego and pride always comes first. No sense of accountability at all. Change scamming.

For this old, useless, and incompetent man, our lives are just numbers.

Say that in front of the families whose loved ones they lost to COVID.

Did this dude even check the current data? Sa buong Asia Pacific tayo may pinaka madaming deaths and soon baka maging epicenter pa tayo. Tanginang presidente toh, ni hindi aware sa mga current na datos.

Is he even aware that the whole world has reopened schools and we are one of the five last countries to do so. Huli na naman tayo! Number one lang sa corruption.

America? Yung bansang may apat na time zone sa laki ikukumpara sa Pinas. Hahaha!

Ganyan talaga mangatwiran ang mga inutil. Maghahanap ng pagkukumparahan para hindi magmukhang malala.

Focus on our own country. Anu yam statement na pampalubag loob? 

So dapat ba ay magpasalamat pa kami kasi "konti" lang ang namatay?

One death is too many especially if it is because of your incompetence… You better step down immediately.. Don't wait for the election, you'll never win unless you cheat or manipulate a failed election.

People here are indignant because the president has just downplayed the deaths of more than 30,000 of  Filipinos. That is why there is a deluge of negative reactions. Do not justify the president's incompetence by pointing out that other countries are faring much worse.

The Western countries have nearly moved on from this pandemic while PH is still going on a never ending lockdowns and living like a hermit with the border always closed. The UK is 100% open and the people there live free with no fear of the virus anymore.

Quit blaming Filipinos for this virus. It’s the only country in the world that requires face shields. Enough of this NONSENSE! How many more years of this nonsense that DOES NOT WORK??? All you can do is blame THE PEOPLE?  Do you think people want to be living in lockdown, losing their jobs, the economy destroyed, losing their freedoms, wearing face shields and then after almost 2 years it accomplishes nothing but a waste of time and money? The virus will never be eradicated! Time to move on with life and stop all these STUPID PROTOCOLS.

And still the fact remains that there are billions of anomalous spending under this government’s watch. 

Ghost hardwares? Napkins for OWWA? Philhealth’s unpaid hospital debts, choosing the controversial Pharmally (a new company who grabbed billions worth of government projects, and edged out its competitors who have track records and years of experience in government dealings!) and the list goes on. Yet we're okay with all these? LOL!

Records show how Pharmally Pharmaceutical Corporation is a dummy company, a 7-month corporation with only P599k total asset in the end of 2019, is able to bag first government deal on April 14, 2020 for P54M, on its way to a total P8.7B gig. It edges out by a mile those with long history of government procurement. 

A staggering 8.9 billion? This dwarfs all the other cases of corruption.

Let's use their favorite line:

"only in the time of Duterte" 

Mass scale government corruption on the go. Tsk tsk tsk. Only in this present administration.

This Company is obviously a dummy and was created for the purpose of taking advantage on Government Procurement. Well, even if a legitimate supplier wins as the LCRB, the prices of the items are still overpriced because they will be obliged to give kickbacks. This isn't new!!

This is the very reason that this country is bound to fail because of corruption.

Whoever approved these transactions without doing their due diligence have blood on their hands. 

They simply say they were negligent. Ganun na lang ba? Walang retribution? and that is why our public healthcare system is failing because these guys and their cohorts do this with impunity. I don't know how they sleep at night. Nakakapag ngitngit, nakakaiyak!

The biggest crime that can be committed against humanity, is to steal the money that is intended to save lives.

Malinaw pa sa sikat ng araw may kumita dito. Bilyon piso pondo ng bayan bibigay mo sa kumpanya wala pang isang milyon kapital.

Taray talaga ng mga friends ni Tatay! Instant Billionaires! Kamusta kaya yong mga kaDDS natin? Sana po nakikinabang kayo kahit papaano para naman hindi masayang kashongahan niyo. 

Parang wala nang ibang Panginoon kundi kasakiman sa pera at kapangyarihan ang mga taong gumagawa ng katiwalian at pagnanakaw ng pera ng taong-bayan kahit sa gitna ng pandemya. Nakakalungkot.

There should be a Vendor Qualification system to pre-qualify Suppliers/Vendors and a Bidding system and policy in place. Kung dumaan ito sa tamang process if audited, doon malalaman. 

Under R.A 9184 for open public bidding, bidder must have atleast 50% of ABC of the project but since those goods is for emergency use, they use Negotiated Procurement which is allowed by law through R.A. 9184 The revise IRR of 2016. When negotiated is implemented they also use progress billing therefore only those delivered is subject for collection billing. Read the 9184 instead. There are some exception for procurement as long as the supplier/bidder complied to the Implementing rules and regulation. In the procurement of goods wherein the prospective bidder opts to submit a committed Line of Credit in lieu of its Net Financial Contracting Capacity. 

What is in question is why is Pharmally selected when there are others more qualified?

Also, Pharmally at that time, does not have yet secured its License To Operate.

Even if this was done via emergency procurement, the supplier is still required to be legally, technically, and financially capable. Do you really think an entity with that financials can secure a line of credit from any bank? Are you really not smelling the stench? 

This is not just a whiff of corruption this is definitely blatant corruption under this current administration.

This administration is taking advantage of taxpayers money by awarding contracts to their allies, friends, or relatives even though the names of Companies or Corporations are fictitious.

Is this the reason why they didn't impose travel ban as early as possible because it's all according to the plan to make money during a pandemic?

Sana mapanagot ang dapat managot. 

Hindi dapat kastiguhin ang mga tauhan ng mga ahensya ng gobyerno na nagi-imbestiga sa mga maanumalyang transaksyon ng mga naka pwesto sa gobyerno.

Bagkus dapat silang puriin, protektahan at tulungan, kahit pa may magbanta sa kanilang buhay, ma ibunyag lang ang mga tiwaling tao sa gobyerno.

Nakasilip ng opening ang mga gahaman. Abala ang tao sa pandemya, sa pagkawala ng hanap buhay, sa dami ng namamatay sa covid saka naman sila nanamantala! So ano mga netizen?? NGANGA na lang? Pabayaan na lang natin na ang mga troll ang maghari dito sa SocMed??

1. Fact: Surefire way to get rich: create a need then fill it. Even better, impose the need.

2. Fact: Cost per face shield prior to August 2021: P28. Cost per face shield starting August, after the Philippine government made its use compulsory: P120+. More than x4, quadruple.

3. Fact: The Philippines is the only country in the world that requires the use of face shields as Covid protection. Bakit?

4. Fact: DoH transferred, without documentation, P45 Billion of its 2020 budget to DBM for the purchase of PPEs.

5. Fact: BILLIONS of pesos worth in face shields were then purchased, at P120 each, by the Procurement Service of DBM, then headed by Lloyd Christopher Lao. He resigned in June 2021 before the release of the CoA findings.

6. Fact: Lao was previously an Undersecretary of the Office of the Special Assistant to the President. Bong Go was that Special Assistant until 2018, when he decided to run for senator.

Yan ang tatak Duterte. Sobrang corrupt. At ang pinakamatindi diyan, bukod sa pera ng taongbayan na hikahos dahil sa pandemya ang niyari nila, Kasabwat pa ng gobyerno ang mga tsekwang galing sa bansa na gumagago sa Pilipinas at nagkalat ng China virus. Naghihirap ang karamihan sa mga Pilipino, pero sila ay pasarap sa perang ninakaw. Hindi pwede ito. Kailangan palagan ito ng lahat ng Pilipino.

Senator Bong Go said Senator Richard Gordon has no right to question his closeness with Duterte because he promised the President that he would never leave him.

His pledge to loyalty is a rare trait. However, when you become a public servant, the public’s interest is your priority. Your loyalty to any person is set aside. O baka naman, malaki talaga ang kitaan? Bilyon nga di ba.

Bakit ang pangako ba nila sa isa't-isa ay magdamayan at walang iwanan?. Ano ba talaga ang sikreto nila? Walang laglagan hanggang sa dulo ng walang hanggan?. Oh my God, ang sweet naman.

Napalaking tulong sa bansa natin yang pagmamahal niya sa pangulo. Madami ang natulungan. Sobra! Char!

Seriously, isn't his loyalty supposed to be to the Filipinos who put him in power? O sa taong nandaya para mailagay siya sa power? 

Senador siya na may sarili dapat na trabaho sa bayan hindi yong nagmumukhang aso este bodyguard. Isama na rin ang alalay sa kulungan.

Then he should ask himself if he even deserves to be called as a public servant? He is indeed Duterte's right-hand. Sadly, he doesn’t deserve to be called as a senator. He should be tagged as an Executive Assistant. 

Also, pledging loyalty to one person instead of the nation is an archaic practice. Some people live in the dark ages…

Ano din ang karapatan niyang maging senador... kung ang pagsisilbihan niya ay ang Presidente at hindi ang mga taong bumoto sa kanya?...

Ladies and gents, we have a Senator who is working for the president and not for the people of the Philippines. Tanggol pa more. 

Salute to his loyalty. Unfortunately, not to the country and its constitution but to a monster called Duterte.

Bong Go's loyalty is indeed extraordinary that it is scary since it is not expected of such a person who ran for a Senate seat.... Going back to the real issue, he should just explain truthfully the appointments of those who were involved in the anomalous deals...The documents are telling the public what may have truly transpired... These diversionary tactics are no longer the cup of tea to many people.

Ang hindi ko gets, the President is part of the Executive branch, Bong Go is part of the Legislative branch. That's two different branches of government. Shouldn't Go be actively working in the Senate? Lalo na't that's what he was elected for? 

Bago po may magalit o mainis. Nasa Constitution po iyan. Sa elementary pa lang, tinuturo na po iyan. I'm not saying he can't help the President, ha. Just saying he should be more active sa Senate, kasi senator po siya. Does he understand his role as a senator of the country? It is not appropriate that he continues to be a special assistant to the president.

Bong Go should've applied as First Lady not as senator. A senators' function is for legislative, for check and balance in the government. Walang kakilala, walang kai-kaibigan, walang  padrino, trabaho lang sana dapat ang nasa isip. 

Naging senador para sa titulo hindi para mag serbisyo sa tao. Para may insider sa Legislative branch?

Sa government ang pledge of loyalty is to the constitution and not to any of it's officials. Hindi dapat sa mga namumuno,. Di ba nga, inilalagay pa nila ang kamay nila sa Bible to prove their loyalty. Hindi naman siguro sa kamay ng presidente niya nilagay ang kamay niya habang nanunumpa ng katapatan. 

Let us remind the so called Senator, if he truly is a senator by heart, his mandate is to the Filipino people and not to be the first lady or pambansang epal!

Ganyan talaga ang mga aso, tapat talaga sila sa kanilang amo. Kung may aso din kayo sa bahay, Alam ninyo na tapat talaga sila. Pero huwag lang gugutumin at mangangagat din sila kahit amo pa nila. In this case, busog na busog kasi milyon-milyon ang nakuhang kontrata ng kapamilya ni Go.

The issue here is not about relationship but wrongly using that relationship to fool and milk the poor and the helpless Filipinos in this time of pandemic. 

When you take an oath of office as a senator, your personal promise becomes secondary to all your actions. Learn to take full responsibility when your actions become very personal while occupying public office. You either give away one. You can't serve two masters at the same time..

Please register and vote wisely on May 2022!!!
