Space Jam: A New Legacy trailer is out

Wazzup Pilipinas!

I think Space Jam 2 is going to visually stunning and a fun ride. Will it live up to the mystique and nostalgia as the first? No, but it might mean the same thing to this next-Gen that the MJ Space Jam meant to us.

People act like every performance needs to be oscar worthy. This is going to be a fun film just like the first. Lebron knows what he's doing.

The movie looks pretty good. It doesn't make you look uncool. It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. I think Lebron is going to kill it as well.

I’m sure it’ll be entertaining, but I’ll say this: it’s not Lebron that has me thinking this movie won’t exactly live up to expectations.

Maybe this makes me not cool but I liked the Space Jam: A New Legacy trailer and think LeBron is actually a pretty good and fun actor. I said it.

Space Jam is just Kingdom Hearts but if Sora went to NBA 2K21 instead of Disney Worlds.

Space Jam 2 Trailer: it was three minutes of pure cringe, but damn if Gamemaster Anthony wasn’t a Jules Verne tier prophet about the multiverse industrial complex. “Bring it in, guys” is now the plot to every single movie that makes a billion dollars.

Pretty meh trailer imo. The Suicide Squad and Mortal Kombat trailers didn't really hit for me either. Dunno whats going on at WB but somethings just off about their movies lately.

The soundtrack sounds nice, the visuals look stunning, and it looks like a really fun movie overall. People hate it just because it’s LeBron or their nostalgia for the first one doesn’t want them to enjoy it.

If that soundtrack is ANYTHING like the first movie’s, then this will be legendary.

I don't like it beacaue it has that Same Energy with Tom & Jerry or Scoob. Beacaue everytime when WB brings back a childhood franchise, they always screw them up and tuned them into something that doesn't represent the way they were.

Something I’ve noticed a lot in people hating the trailer is that’s it’s clear they either love Jordan or hate LeBron.

Having been able to watch both of them play, it’s possible to be amazed by both, they’re not mutually exclusive. You may even like or prefer one over the other, but why the extremes. Anyone that has Jordan or Lebron too far apart from each other doesn’t understand basketball.

The appeal of the first Space Jam was everyone loved Jordan and was a big deal him coming to play basketball while he was retired playing baseball. No one cares about Lebron, he’s not even likable.

No one cares about the most consistent player in the NBA, who has broken many records, still winning championships at 36 years old, is playing with one of the most successful teams, and can literally beat any young player at his age. Sure thing.

All that yet he’s still not lived because he’s a dick. Ask your hero why he’s so scared to do a dunk contest.

Lebron is funny AF. I thought his and Bill Hader’s scenes together in “Trainwreck” were some of the best parts. LeBron is actually a fantastic actor he stole the show in that very underrated movie.

And so far the Looney Tunes characters seem to be more authentic to their classic versions which I like. I think the movie looks fun, and people forget... kids are a huge target audience for this. lol!

Damian Lillard, Anthony Davis, Diana Taurasi, & Klay Thompson in the new Space Jam.

Zendaya has been confirmed as the voice actress of Lola Bunny for Space Jam: A New Legacy

A heck of a role for her, best of luck!

How is this a kids movie when Game of Thrones and Pennywise is being referenced? Along with those band boys who like to rape people? That's kinda weird.

Pepe Le Pew being cut from Space Jam 2 but the rapists from A Clockwork Orange showing up is peak corporate wokeness.

The original Space Jam was a passion project that Chuck Jones and Mel Blanc poured their hearts into. It’s sad to see it commercialised with an unnecessary sequel.

Little known fact, but they personally wrote the scene where Newman said “Slip on your Hanes, lace up your Nikes, take your Wheaties and your Gatorade, and we'll grab a Big Mac on the way to the ballpark”.

It's a shame that they added blatant product placement when the original had beautiful plot-driven dialogues.

I had no interest in seeing this before today, but after the trailer, and reading the issues, I’m sold. Looks like a lot of fun. I honestly think it’ll be good. Won’t be as good as the original, but absolutely gonna be worth the watch.

Can't wait for Space Jam 3 where Faker is sent to an alternate universe and needs to recruit Bugs Bunny as his jungler to take on the Monstars who stole the talents of Nuguri, Canyon, Chovy, Jackeylove and Kaiser.

New Black Widow trailer is out

Wazzup Pilipinas!?

The MCU won't be the same without Natasha (Scarlett Johansson). She has done such an super awesome job as Black Widow!

There's a new #BlackWidow trailer that came out! Its trailer number 56, is their any footages left for the movie ? I'm totally gonna watch it!

New logo, young Natasha, #Avengers montage, lots of Taskmaster... This looks awesome. Winter Soldier vibes. I know their story will be beautiful. but it will break all our hearts.  I’m so mad they killed her and not Hawkeye instead. At least we know she’s not dying in this one.

You put Rachel Weisz and Florence Pugh in anything and I’m going to see it. I know their story will be beautiful. but it will break all our hearts.

Anyone else think they realized they made so many revel trailers that they are running out of scenes to show that won't give away the big spoiler so they just said fuck it on July.

I think it's gonna be a masterpiece. There is now way, they were gonna delay so much a mediocre movie. Looks like it’ll be another hit, this is their best trailer yet for Black Widow.

I was excited for this last year. Marvel really dropped the ball with not releasing it on Disney Plus when they had the chance. I'm just almost over it honestly.

They’re obviously holding out on a lot considering even before Covid the trailers featured basically the same few scenes.

They’re in a tricky spot trying to figure out out to start a fresh new ad campaign w/o giving away even more. That’s why this time we got young Natasha scenes.

“You don't know everything about me. I have lived many lives. before I was an Avenger and had this family, I made many mistakes...” – Black Widow (2021)

Marvel finally going to explore Natasha’s childhood backstory. I always wanted to know more about her. Finally, we will have a chance to check this out.

I believe in Black Widow’s white suit supremacy. But can you still call her Black Widow if it's a white suit? OMG I cannot wait to see her fight with this suit.

I think this is gonna be before they recruited them for the Black Widow program. I think it's when the bad guys realized that they developed feelings through each other. They were spies supposed to act like a family but they bonded together and they had to be separated.

Putting Natasha’s death scene in the trailer is so sick. She might be done running, but she’s not done falling...that’s for sure.

I feel like this movie is just going to be her recapping her whole life while she’s inside the soul stone. Maybe with OG Gamora.

Taskmaster is not gonna be a woman. He's gonna be a black man who's being played by OT Fagbenle... Feige even teased him being Taskmaster at SDCC when he brought out the main cast.

Trust me, Taskmaster is going to be a top-tier MCU villain. I swear to god, if they kill off Taskmaster this movie is bullshit. Be like Spider-Man, let the villain live thru a film. I know Marvel has been bad about this. Turned it around a bit with Agatha Harkness, so I hope its an upward trend to start keeping some of these main villains alive for future use.

Lets see...Iron Monger, Whiplash, Aldrich Killian, Malekith, Hela, Ronan, Yellowjacket, Ego, Pierce, Ultron, Killmonger. 11 villains out of 23 movies that died in their first appearance. Hows that bad? And 2 of them still got another movie.

Not to mention Loki, who was the villain in Avengers (2012) but came back in so many movies to do so much more and then will return again in his own show.

Bonus: it’s the 2012 Loki!

Am I the only one that genuinely likes Taskmaster's suit design in Black Widow? It's not TERRIBILE, it's just not great. Taskmaster is notably a skull in a hood. That's pretty much the only thing it HAS to be, and the MCU design just isn't that. What it is isn't bad, but it's not what it could have been. People are hating on it just because they've seen other designs they like more. It's like... You don't have to hate on this design just because you preferred another one. I think this is the starter suit, then could upgrade either later in the movie, which obviously they don’t wanna give everything away. Or upgrade in another movie if not killed in this movie.

Also, not nearly enough Red Guardian. They better not kill my boy David Harbour in this one.

Well done marketing people for finally realising that having musical themes in your trailers THAT ACTUALLY RELATE TO THE FILMS pays off!

It’s almost as if people build strong bonds and memories to films through the music in them..

“We have unfinished business.” See Marvel Studios’ #BlackWidow in cinemas and on Disney+ with Premier Access this July 9. #BlackWidow will be releasing on indian theatre's on July 2nd. The film will premiere on Disney+hotstar on October 8, 2021.

Shanti Dope’s song Amatz has made it to the MCU via The Falcon and the Winter Soldier Episode 3

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Shanti Dope’s song “Amatz” plays during a scene in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

As our heroes enter Madripoor, Shanti's song started playing. Pinoy pride livering from there on.

Is this the same song na pinapa-ban ng mga pulis or imbento lang ako?

Shanti: 1

PDEA: 0

Yung mas na a-acknowledge pa ng ibang bansa yung kanta ng PINOY kesa sa kapwa PINOY. Putcha nakaka tuwa, lupet mo Shanti.

Also I noticed during the credits that a picture of Madripoor can be seen with the words "Isang Mundo, Isang Tao." (The slogan of the Flag-Smashers in Filipino).

This only mean Madripoor could be based on Filipino Culture knowing Madripoor in the comics is based on an Asian community?

Though, I still think SEA nations in general and not just the philippines knowing that madripoor is a southeast asian island, like a fictional capital of SEA.

I just saw the map in the comics, and the spot where the island is located is like the spot where our country sits. Plus based from it's history, it was stated that it was once ruled by Japan.

Winter Soldier said Madripoor is an island in the Indonesian archipelago, but they played a Filipino rap song to set the tone of the place. Not complaining, just saying.

The major languages are English, French, and Filipino according to the Marvel database fandom wiki.

Well, geography wise. There is something wrong with it, but now we seeing and hearing Filipino Languages being used for Madripoor seems promising.

I can't wait for the MCU and networks to showcase some of marvel's SEA characters. Especially our very own.

Damn lots of Filipino culture as plot points in a lot of shows im watching. Mark and Amber eating halo-halo in Invincible and now Shanti Dope.

I wonder how PH feels about Shanti Dope’s Amatz now after hearing it on #TheFalconAndTheWinterSoldier when not too long ago the government banned it from any media airplay.
