Here's a first look at Kristen Stewart as Princess Diana in Spencer, Pablo LarraĆn's imagining of the weekend Princess Diana decides to leave her marriage to Prince Charles.
Is this another demolition job and character assassination on Prince Charles and the royal family? Did they assassinate their characters all by themselves? The entire family is embroiled in scandal after scandal. They don't need movies and biographies to tarnish an already spiked reputation.
However, people are so quick to believe tabloid’s rumors. Personally, I prefer my history to be accurate. Princess Diana seemed lovely, but just like all of us she had her flaws and insecurities. Demonizing Prince Charles will not change that.
Um, maybe Charles did that all by himself. That's some misogynistic gaslighting by saying telling the story is a hit job.
How will those poor royals live? Maybe they can cry in their castles and continue to protect the brother who has connections to Epstein.
Also, are they gonna use a stunt double for the scenes of Diana laughing/smiling? Well, scandals are not necessarily factual isn’t? What more are the smiles and laughs if sincere or forced.
The nerve of some people saying she’s a bad actress when they’ve only see one of her films and that was twilight. Stop judging before you have even seen it.
There are many actors who are in some big films but aren’t phenomenal or have much range. Chris Hemsworth is not exactly outstanding but people love him. Not every actor has to be Oscar worthy. Acting is subjective from an audiences perspective, like any art form. Acting is subjective but I guess that only matters when people agree with you.
Though People love Chris Hemsworth because he is likeable and funny. Kirsten Stewart doesn’t come across as likeable to me.
Remember Men in Black with Chris Hemsworth and Tessa. They ditched the franchise, like the last Charlie's Angels with Kristen. Maybe it also depends on the correct presentation. But sometimes an actor, even in a bad film, still shows himself. It means something is missing
Perhaps Hemsworth doesn't bit his lip enough for her?
I'm still burnt that Adventureland couldn't land anyone better for her part. I wanted to like it so much.
It doesn’t matter which review you read, they all say the exact same thing: Bad movie, Kristen Stewart is the only good thing about it.
That’s because the roles she plays always fit the gloomy girl. Whereas people like Seth Rogan fit the stoner, funny guy. She’s a good actress y’all just hate to see it.
I’ve seen her in multiple other movies ...she’s bad I loved her in my Twilight days but as I grew I realized how bad she was ..Kristen Stewart looks as if she’s constipated and struggling to find words in every movie she’s in .. while it worked as the Awkward teen it lost its luster.
Twilight films (cheers to my ex wife) , Snow White and the Huntsman (cheers kids), Underwater, Zathura, Seberg, Into The Wild, The Messengers, American Ultra, On The Road and Jumper. To be honest, bless her, a wooden spoon has greater range. Fair play though, she's made money.
But seriously, aside from the Twilight movies, I have seen her in other films actually! She just always strikes me as incredibly bland.
She had to play a blank canvas girl so what do peeps expect? She did okay. The material sucked, not her. Look at her in Adventureland, I liked her. I would sooner see her than one-trick Eisenberg. I am looking forward to Diana. After all, can't be worse than the Naomi Watts one!
Well, they managed to make her look the part. She looks spot on! However, the accent will probably be butchered. She’s done a few accents in different movies and always gets them spot on so hopefully her English accent will be just as good.
I’m just not confident she will mirror Diana’s warmth or grace. she can barely act as it is, with less daunting material. I'm sure they'll have her work with a coach. They seem very focused on getting it right.
I should add, they're clearly focused on getting the costumes and accents right...as for the truth, well they are taking some liberties with that!
"People have decided how they are going to perceive her. No matter how many times she smiles, they’ll put in the one picture where she’s not smiling.”
I've seen absolutely loads of her films. I still think she's terrible., Pablo LarraĆn's imagining of the weekend Princess Diana decides to leave her marriage to Prince Charles.
