Which Car Has the Best Warranty? All You Need to Know

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Are you planning on buying a new car? Then, there is a high chance that you will base your decision on a number of factors. Among these factors will be the length of the manufacturer’s warranty. The said warranty covers various manufacturing defects for a specific period of time or until a definite amount of miles has been reached.

Different car companies offer different warranties. To help you find the best new car warranty, we have done our research and compiled a list of the basic warranties offered by well-reputed automakers.

So, without any further ado, let’s jump right into the topic.

Which Company offers the Longest New Car Warranty?

Typically, a new car warranty or a “bumper-to-bumper” coverage lasts for three years or 36,000 miles, depending on which one is achieved before the other. In most cases, this basic warranty is complemented with a powertrain warranty that is capable of covering axle, engine, and transmission systems.

Some of the well-known brands also tend to offer extended warranties at a set price to extend the protection of your vehicle.

Let’s take a look at some of the best car warranties.

Hyundai

Topping off this list is Hyundai. Not only does it come with a basic bumper-to-bumper coverage of five years or 60,000 miles, but it also tends to offer a powertrain coverage that lasts up to 10 years or 100,000 miles. Additionally, it provides your vehicle with roadside assistance for up to five years and a corrosion coverage for up to seven, and there’s no set limit for the number of miles driven.

Genesis

Genesis strives to give Hyundai a run for its money when it comes to manufacturer’s warranty. In terms of new car warranty and powertrain coverage, Genesis stands toe to toe with Hyundai (five years/60,000 miles & 10 years/100,000 miles respectively). Genesis also offers the same roadside assistance and corrosion warranties as Hyundai (five years and seven years respectively with no limit on the number of miles).

Kia

Kia takes pride in offering some of the most reliable vehicles that are a luxury to take on the road. The icing on the top is the fact that it comes with an impressive manufacturer’s warranty that provides a standard bumper-to-bumper coverage for five years/60,000 miles, an added powertrain coverage that lasts up to 10 years/100,000 miles, roadside coverage of five years/60,000 miles, and corrosion resistance that lasts up to five years/100,000 miles.

Volkswagen

Volkswagen would have been the company offering the best car warranty if it wasn’t for a significant change that it made to its coverage period this year. The 2018 and 2019 models of Volkswagen came with a whopping bumper-to-bumper and powertrain coverages of six years/72,000 miles, beating the likes of Hyundai and Kia.

Unfortunately, the company in question isn’t offering the same warranty for its 2020 models. Moreover, the current bumper-to-bumper warranty on a 2020 Volkswagen car doesn’t even last for up to five years. Yes, it’s true, the new car warranty period on Volkswagen has been reduced to four years/50,000 miles.

Other Brands offering Five-Year New Car Warranties

Mitsubishi and Jaguar are among the car companies that are still offering bumper-to-bumper coverages of five years/60,000 miles. However, the powertrain coverage provided by them differs since Jaguar’s powertrain warranty period is five years (or 60,000 miles) while that of a Mitsubishi vehicle is 10 years (or 100,000 miles).

Reliable Car Companies that Offer a 4-Year New Car Warranty

The 2020 models of Volkswagen aren’t the only cars that come with a four-year (or 50,000 miles) warranty. Automakers such as Volvo, Tesla, and Cadillac are also offering the same bumper-to-bumper coverage. However, Tesla stands out amongst this batch because of its powertrain warranty.

If you are an owner of a new Tesla, not only is your vehicle covered by a four-year/50,000 miles’ warranty but you can also enjoy an extended powertrain coverage that lasts up to eight years. The mile count, in this case, depends on the model you have bought.

Leading Car Companies that Offer a 3-Year New Car Warranty

Nissan, Chevrolet, Toyota, and Ford cars have a heavy presence on the roads across the United States. The bumper-to-bumper coverage offered by all these automakers lasts for three years or 36,000 miles. As for the additional powertrain coverage, it extends up to five years or 60,000 miles.

Moreover, buying an extended car warranty is always a good option. While certain automakers offer their own extended warranties, you can save some money by opting for a third-party seller for getting your extended warranty.

Conclusion

Manufacturer’s warranty is something that plays a key role in convincing the potential buyer to get a particular vehicle. But which company is currently offering the best car warranty? We hope that you got this question answered by reading this article.

How to Make Sure Your Next Vacation is as Comfortable as Possible

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Travelling for a vacation should be an exciting time. Unfortunately, it is all too often an uncomfortable experience. Here are some simple tips for ensuring your next vacation is as comfortable as possible.

Before You Travel

Believe it or not, a comfortable travel experience begins before you even leave your home. Even taking the time to give your home a proper clean before you leave can make a big difference to the experience you have. You don’t want to be worried about returning to an untidy home, nor do you want to stress about the state of your home while you’re trying to focus on your time away.

It is worth telling your bank and credit card companies where you will be travelling to before you leave. If you don't, your bank might suddenly see your card being used halfway around the world and decide that it is most likely the result of fraud. Informing your bank of your travel plans before you leave will avoid this potential scenario.

You should also ensure that you have sorted out your vacation money before you leave. Budgeting for your vacation ahead of time will help you to avoid overspending and potentially adding needless stress to your trip. Many people choose to spend the time before they leave shoring up their finances as much as they can. For example, suppose you have some spare cryptocurrency lying around on a USB stick. In that case, you might want to consider betting it on bitcoin poker and potentially giving yourself some extra spending money for your vacation.

On the Road

Whether you will be sitting in a car, on a bus, or in a taxi for an extended period of time, it doesn't take much for the road to become uncomfortable. Obviously, the type of vehicle you choose to transport yourself in will play a significant role in determining the comfort of your travels.

It is a good idea for you and anyone travelling with you to take a break from driving every hour or so. This break gives you time to stretch and use the restroom. Doing this will also improve the circulation in your body, preventing several potential health issues.

On the Train

Travelling on the train throws up many of the same challenges as travelling by road. However, the big advantage of travelling by train is that you don’t have to worry about driving the vehicle. This means you can prop your head up using a travel pillow and have a sleep without worrying about your safety.

Remember that trains can get cold sometimes. It is worth bringing a jacket or blanket with you if you are anticipating a long journey. You might also want to think about bringing some headphones or a book with you to keep you amused.

Travel is a wonderful experience that broadens the mind. But it isn’t always a comfortable experience. The advice outlined above will help you to stay safe and comfortable while travelling, regardless of where you go and how you get there.

Bato Dela Rosa Denies Culture of Violence and Impunity in PNP

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Ha ha ha...ang sarap ng buhay...sana lagi na lang ganito - Bato Dela Rosa

It is more tragic when those that you expect to serve and protect are those that oppress and threaten us.

Who do we call when the police are the true terrorists?

Sen. Ronald 'Bato' Dela Rosa claimed no one, from President Rodrigo Duterte down to the lowest ranks, gave a command to "kill, kill, kill".

However, past proclamations by Duterte, along with Dela Rosa's stint as PNP chief, tell a different story.

Anong wala??? Eh laging naka-broadcast si Digs diba!!! SINUNGALING!!!!!!

No one? Ipakita pa more ang mga resibo ng mga kill kill kill pronouncement ni Duterte!

Says the man who encouraged drug pushers to brutally kill drug lords, couldn't handle criticisms & backed death penalty via firing squad.

Someone’s living under a bato just chillin at “sarap ng buhay” ... you can scroll down for all the Kill comments of your commander in chief.

"I will protect you. I will not allow one policeman or one military to go to jail."

- President Rodrigo Duterte in 2016 promising to "protect" policemen and soldiers who are at the forefront of the administration's war on drugs

“My orders are sa pulis pati military... na pagka ginulo at nagkaroon ng okasyon na lumaban at ang buhay ninyo ay nalagay sa alanganin, shoot them dead. Naintindihan ninyo? Patay."

"Look, it can never be a crime to say that 'I will kill you if you destroy my country'."

- President Duterte in 2016 defending the killing of alleged drug pushers in his war on drugs

Fact-checking is so easy and common sense.

Bato is memoryholing Oplan Tokhang. Teh, kasama ka sa iniimbistagahan ng ICC for Crimes Against Humanity, wag kang ano!

Bato, if I were you, aayusin ko ang hanay ng mga kapulisan kaysa ipagtanggol si DuDirty! Ay wait, parehas pala kayo ng karakas! Nakakasuka.

Dela Rosa asserted that Police Senior Master Sgt. Jonel Nuezca is a drug addict because he refused to undergo a mandatory drug testing in 2014.

Tarlac provincial police, however, said Nuezca has already tested negative for drugs.

Nuezca also had several cases filed against him of which two are homicides.....meaning he is no stranger to killing....but surprisingly, he is still serving as a police officer. Impunity at its finest. I'm sure if we'll go checking on the records of every cop out there, a lot have similar cases.

Impunity po ay exemption from punishment. Many are either not filed or dismissed due to insufficient evidence or no witness because people are threatened by these scoundrels.

Halimbawa po:

“All of the Davao Boys have been involved in operations that have killed at least two dozen people, according to crime reports reviewed by Reuters. Six of them were involved in the deaths of more than 50 people.”

Dela Rosa asserts that the Tarlac twin slay is an isolated case and strongly denies that there is a culture of impunity within the police force.

He also said police officers in the country need to carry their service firearms even when they are off-duty because they have a mandate to serve and protect all the time.

Serve and protect all the time? So 24/7 may baril dapat tapos pag tulad ngayon na may pinatay sinasabi "off duty naman yung pulis" Ang taba talaga utak mo!

Police Captain Ariel Buraga is relieved from duty after saying the fatal Tarlac shooting incident should teach people to respect cops.

In a now deleted Facebook post, PCapt. Ariel Buraga, Bato MPS OIC in Catanduanes, said that the Tarlac shooting was a "lesson learned that even the elderly should learn to respect the police."

Sadly, he is not alone in believing that it was the victims that are to be blamed. Our police force are entitled war freaks.

Meanwhile, Senators Dela Rosa and Manny Pacquiao have called for the reimposition of the death penalty after a cop fatally shot a mother and her son in Paniqui, Tarlac on Sunday.

The death penalty will not stop the killings. It will only send more poor, innocent people to death. Bato, Pacquiao et al ignore the system of impunity so glaring in the killer cop’s track record of cases.

Nuezca had 6 cases prior to shooting the Gregorios, including 2 homicide cases. The heaviest punishment actually imposed was a 31-day suspension. What makes Pacquiao and Bato think that death penalty will be implemented swiftly and fairly?

As I read somewhere, "why do we need to kill people just to prove that killing people is bad?"

Patawa nga eh. Kung maiisa-batas 'to, mai-implement ba nang maayos?

Ayusin muna ang justice system sa bansa...at tanggalin ang mga pulitikong katulad ni Pacquiao at Bato.
