Sarangani: A province with some still without water

Access to safe drinking water is a basic human right. The water situation in Sarangani is inhumane & unacceptable. Did Manny "PacMan" Pacquiao know about it when he was congressman or did they live very comfortably in their multi-million mansions and are out of touch with the reality of their constituents?

If you're looking for proof of how Pacquaio has no business running a country, then know the story of Jie-ann from Sarangani whomis now one of the housemates of Pinoy Big Brother Connect. Many of the people there still don't even have WATER - one of the most basic necessities that every being should have easy access to.

It's more than just a sad story. I did not know that it is the case in Sarangani. What's going on in the local government there and why has it gotten to that point that residents have to pay for water by the container?

I hope everyone’s criticism of Justin Dizon extends to the real issue—how the hell is there still a water shortage in a district represented by someone said to be gunning for the presidency?

Rogelio Paquio is currently the Congressman, both Paquio handled the province and yet this is still a HUGE ISSUE! How come Manny is in SENATE though?! 

If Pacquiao, together with his brother, couldn't provide water for their people in just one of the many provinces in the Philippines, then he shouldn't be running a country.

And, if I may just add, the audacity of that boxer politician to want to launch what was that, PacPay, which requires a lot of money for capitalization, when HIS CONSTITUENTS IN SARANGANI HAVE NO ACCESS TO CLEAN WATER

WHAT THE HELL!

I'll fucking shoot you all on the knees if you guys will support and vote Pacquiao on his presidency run. He can't even fix the water problem/shortage in Sarangani. How much more for a national crisis. Fight me!

Anyway J'm saying this because Jinkee was also a former Vice Governor of Sarangani and Manny's brother is now a representative for the lone district of Sarangani. Here we have people who just decided to run for positions of power just because they can. Ok keri demokrasya tayo but at what cost?

Pacquiao running for president??? when his term as a governor of Sarangani neglected to provide BASIC necessities to his constituents?

Why doesn’t ABSCBN use this as an opportunity to make a news feature on why the people in Sarangani don’t have access to water and call out the necessary authorities?

Sana naman intention ng ABS-CBN na maipakita ang problems sa Sarangani, through the story of the girl, knowing na Manny held a position there and shows signs of running for the highest position?! 

Also, ang lala ng elitism not only of Justin, but also of the PBB show-runners.

“Jie-Ann” and "Justin Dizon" are among the hottest trending topics now in the Philippines.

If you are watching Pinoy Big Brother Connect just for its entertainment value then I guess you can care less. However, I always watch it with the intent to see its social relevance and the Jie-Ann/Justin bit is one good example.

I always look forward sa mga confessionals and heart-to-heart talks nila with kuya. Like in the real world, we also look for those people gaya ni kuya na makakausap natin because we don’t always have the luxury to explain in the outside world why we act the way we do.

Truly, lagi nagbubukas ng mata sa totoong kwento at pangyayari sa ating bansa,,at may different perspective ng mga tao, so you'll learn from them, nga lng online chismis pero mas nakikita din kung pano mag-isip ang masang pinoy sa isang isyu.

Justin Dizon is the mother of all shits. He literally, consciously wiped his hands on Jie-Ann's towel which was currently on her head. The only thing he proved time and time again is how problematic, matapobre, and elitist he is. Okay lang sana kung isolated, kaso hindi eh. 

It was not just the wiping of hands sa towel that threw me off. It was also when he said "sabagay marumi ka nga pala." 

I can sense that Jie-Ann was offended though .. and then she just said to Justin,"wala akong pakialam sa'yo."

I like her as the closest of Haira inside the house. And it hurts me seeing her being bullied. 

It was bullying.

THAT WAS SERIOUSLY BELOW THE BELT. MAYAMAN NGA SI JUSTIN PERO NI RESPETO AY HINDI NIYA ALAM. Anong magagawa ng yaman mo kung wala kang respeto sa kapwa tao mo. Or hindi ba siya tao?

As an adult if you noticed something wrong, you should say it in a good way. The word "marumi"  was really very offending and we know that it hurts more on Jie-Ann's part. 

To the "cleanliest human being of the universe" aka Justin Dizon.......You are shitty. Mahihiya lahat ng bakla ng dahil sa iyo.

Go Jie-ann laban lang!! Huwag kang papaapekto sa baklang kanal ang ugali.

The thing is, galing sa live stream yung footage meaning its unscripted. The whole Justin teaches Jie-Ann skit was the script writer's attempt to try to save Justin's ass.

Can't PBB see how problematic this is??

"Tinuruan ni Justin si Jie-Ann kung paano gumamit ng mga toiletries!"

Bakit baliktad?? Hindi ba si Justin yung dapat na may takeaway sa shit statements nya instead of Jie-Ann being taught how to use toiletries?

It was not even a funny content and is just borderline deregatory towards Jie-Ann. 

Kainis how this "empathy" is redeeming him while Jie-Ann is being put in a humiliating situation.

What's the whole point of this montage, comedic relief? I can't believe you would stoop this low and exploit Jie-ann's lack of knowledge and privilege like this. YOU ARE GOING TOO FAR JUST TO PROVIDE ENTERTAINMENT. 

I just know they're panicking rin trying to come up with something more to make amends to a very disgusting behavior....or was this scripted para may pag-usapan about PBB!?

"Lagi silang nag-aasaran ni Jie-ann" AND THAT DOESNT GIVE HIM THE RIGHT TO USE JIE-ANN SITUATION AS A JOKE. TONTA!!! Ang baho ng ugali.

It's a cycle. Gaganyan, iko call out, magsosorry, tapos balik sa dating gawi. Kapag basura ka, kung hindi ka gagawa ng conscious effort para baguhin ang ugali mo, basura ka forever. Hindi mababago ng notes app ang ugali mo. It's not something that happens overnight. Pweh.

Anyway, add lang ako ng context ano. Si Jie-Ann ay from Sarangani. Lahat ng housemates, noong nasa confession room sila, sinasabi kay Kuya na hindi naliligo si Jie-Ann. Parang 2 days na raw at that time na hindi naliligo si ate girl.

Pinaiwan siya ni Kuya sa confession room tapos tinanong niya if bakit hindi siya naliligo araw-araw. Ang explanation lang ni Jie-Ann is because sa Sarangani raw, wala silang tubig. Hindi laging may tubig. So nasanay sila na maliligo lang kapag may extra.

They really fuckin' used Jie-ann's story for more shitshow, instead of addressing the real issue. Y'all come up with this?? The level of being problematic. The girl obviouly knows what hygiene is, the problem is the resources & Justin's wack ass personality.

I really like Jie-ann's character. Though, she struggles so much from proverty, she did not use this to seek empathy from the outside world. Hindi umiiyak like others na parang ang laki ng problema.

Itong si Justin, iniisip niya na dugyot lang si ate girl. Tapos lagi niyang bini-bring up na hindi nga naliligo, ganyan. Tapos ayon, sabi ni Jie-Ann, 12php per container ang tubig sa Sarangani. Eh tatatlo lang ang containers nila sa bahay. Priority nila ang pang-saing, pang-hugas, pang-laba, at pang-luto ng pagkain. Makes sense. Uunahin mo pa ba na maliligo ka eh wala nga kayong tubig. kaya ayon. Pati ako nahiya na ganoon pala 'yong sitwasyon nila sa Sarangani. Tapos si Kuya, inassure niya na she can use all the water she needs sa bahay.

While you are all here, please do not associate Justin Dizon's rudeness to being gay. Hindi ganyan ang mga bakla. Sadyang he sits too high na matapobre na  siya towards others. Again, hindi ugaling bakla ang pagiging matapobre. This issue is beyond his SOGIE.

It's unfair na may mga nagreretweet na ganoon siya kasi bakla siya. No. Ganoon siya kasi detached siya sa realidad. Bakla man siya or hindi, kung ang tingin niya sa mundo ay pantay, ibang usapan na 'yon. Hindi rin ugaling baklang kanal ang pagiging matapobre.

Kaya nga nasa loob sila ng bahay para makita ang totoong ugali. Hindi naman agad malalaman ng mga nag screen ng PBB ang tunay na ugali ng housemates not unless nakatira na sila sa iisang bubong. Kaya nga may eviction. Bawi na lang tayo doon.

Nasobrahan ang katabilan ng bibig niya. I have a lot of gay friends. Fortunately, they're all nice and funny! Kaya nadismaya ako dito kay Justin. Haayss.

In short, basura pala sa totoong buhay si Justin. Mas masahol pa siya sa mga hindi naliligo ng ilang linggo. We now know who deserves to be evicted first.

Martin Nievera and Pops Fernandez to host Exes and Whys on Colours

OPM icons, and former husband and wife, Martin Nievera and Pops Fernandez will soon have a new show at Colours Channel of Cignal cable TV every Saturday at 9pm starting this December 20 to be directed by their son Robin Nievera. The show is called Exes and Whys. No need to explain why because the two are exes...lol

Meanwhile, Louie Ocampo will also have his own show every Sunday at 9pm on the same network. The show is titled Louie O Live, where he will be joined by Robin Nievera.

We've heard their thoughts on many current issues like the limitations we all experienced during the pandemic and quarantines, but they both agreed that there were also "blessings" that happened to strengthen relationships and ways on how we do our respective "business" whether they are personal or to serve the clamor of the public. They also answered questions related to their relationship as a family, and to their previous and current loved ones and families as a separated married couple. 

Funny how Pops made a mistake in mentioning the last name of Robin as Padilla referring to the "bad boy" who is now famous as a DDS celebrity supporter of this administration. Pops also answered the issue between her and Derek Ramsay....whose separation rumors with Andrea Torres has linked Pops as the third party causing it. Pops has denied being involved with Derek.

Martin, as always, has been the joker, even if he seems serious in answering the inquiries. That face has always been trying it's best to be funny but I can't accept him as a comedian. He was my favorite singer back in college if having to choose between him and Gary V. In fact, I bought original CDs of Martin and even gifted some to my ex-girlfriend, because she is now my wife, when I was courting her. However, my wife prefers Gary V. Lol. 

These were revealed at the Zoom press conference held on December 16 where all four of them were present to answer the questions of the showbiz trad media and new media (bloggers) who attended the somewhat late online press conference that also had technical difficulties that irked the media attendees.

There was also very few media that were given the opportunity to interview. The organizers could have just asked everyone to ask one question each rather than giving priorities to the few top publications. All bloggers were not given the chance to interact.

I also felt the nervousness of the host that they picked for this event. He seems so uncomfortable and unprepared when he started the conference, but improved when they gave him a couch to sit on. Lol.

Going back to the separated couple who will now be hosting their own show together, as well as another show by their friend Louie Ocampo, do they still look good together just as how they were during Penthouse Live? How could Robin say it's totally different from Penthouse Live when he admitted not seeing any of the episodes of the said former show of his parents?

Former husband and wife OPM icons have produced a show that they'll be hosting together, and directed by one of their sons. Now this looks more like a family affair, and hope their other children will be involved, in one way or another, to be also part of the new venture. Louie for sure will be a great contributor to their show as always since they've been buddies for three generations of the Nievera families.
