China's bootlegging prominence has conquered the world

Wazzup Pilipinas!

No, I'm not sleeping yet. I'm just showing off my gray hair....errrr... I mean the bootlegged bed cover and pillow cases that my wife bought from one of the unit owners of our building. We have a group chat where majority are selling all kinds of products from food to clothing, to all sorts of other knick knacks that you'll believe everyone has turned to online selling.

This fake product with the famous double G logo of Gucci employing the two interlocking, bold “Gs” of the father's – Guccio Gucci' speaks highly of how China has defied ethics and the law. Yet, we have let them to seemingly "propagate" their wares like the weed or grass we should never have in a decent garden but kept using them as if they're the very useful mulch.

Yup! This obviously came from our president's BFF country, China.

They're very cheap but seems to be good enough for the middle class like us as it's a lot more soothing to the skin compared to the expensive branded one I bought more than a month ago.

Which makes me wonder why there were authentic brands that put up stores in the country despite the rampant proliferation of fake products from China which many of us have been greatly patronizing because it's so outrageously cheap.

It could only mean that there were still a significant number of buyers coming from the affluent class....or they were selling at unreasonable prices that even a few bought from their stores will already propel their investment.

With this pandemic now greatly affecting both local and foreign authentic brand due to the many businesses that closed down or had to retrench their operations, people will surely settle for knockoffs, and China has been leading the pirating of products for decades.

We have very little choice,... unless we want to drain our savings since we still do not have an idea when everything will go back to at least close to the previous normal. This "new normal" terminology is doing nothing but conditioning us to accept we will never go back to the usual.

Have we lost all hope to return to the "old normal" we once knew? And now we have fallen for not just the convenient availability and affordability of China-made face masks and shields, but even for these "imitations" of branded products.

Wake up world! It's not yet time to sleep. You need to keep wide awake before China fully conquers the world!

BTS’s Commercial For Samsung Galaxy Dazzles ARMYs

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 x BTS x Xbox Game Pass ad for South Korea market.

It's a tale of two brothers, separated at birth, whose intriguing pasts come back to haunt them. Kim Seok-Jin and Jeon Jung-Kook star in "The Strange Tailor Shop," the latest Samsung blockbuster ad.

Give a bonus or raise to whichever team worked on the Samsung ad masterpiece.

I strongly believe that Samsung is an Actor Seok-Jin and Dancer Seok-Jin stan. They believe in Kim Seok-Jin's supremacy.

Seok-Jin revealed he actually tried to recommend another member for the Samsung Galaxy commercial. Thank you Samsung for rejecting Seok-Jin's suggestion because then we wouldn't have gotten to see his amazing dance skills with Jung-Kook.

Somehow suits really give men a different aura. One moment they are the guy next door and bam the next they are the CEO of a multinational.

The way Jung-Kook snatched this phone out of Seok-Jin’s hand was priceless.

Seok-Jin impressed viewers with his actor-like visuals in 'The Strange Tailor Shop' Samsung ad. It was not surprising since he majored in film and visual arts. He also received positive response from viewers with his acting skill in 'BTS World" video game.

I don’t get down with Samsung phones like that but this commercial rocks.

I’m not saying I want the Samsung ad producers to plan their next music video but that’s exactly what I’m saying.

It would be easier if Bighit just took notes and learned, because damn it's been a whole 7 years now.

Samsung literally went from world class footballers to Kpop idols in advertisements. An upgrade or a downgrade?

Tell me if the whole BTS crew together have the brand value equal to Messi's. Will it bring more sales than all of them footballers on the cover combined?

"Praise Publicly, Coach Privately" for PNP officers sleeping on duty?

Wazzup Pilipinas!

"Praise Publicly, Coach Privately.

Smart leaders understand the power of publicly praising excellence in action. So do it often. Coach your teammates as to areas they need to improve in private. So they can save face.

Teamwork makes the dream work!"

There is a debate about this premise: "Praise Publicly, Coach Privately."

They say any effective leader knows the saying, most especially Human Resources managers. If you have been in a leadership position once, there would be no need to break this down and explain.

This could be practiced in private companies since employee morale needs to be taken care of no matter what sector.....but except the sector that handles the safety and security of the country.

I don't agree that policemen should be given the right to make that excuse. They are on duty to supposedly serve attentively at their best, and not as if  they're wasting taxpayers' money keeping them comfy during duty. If they're too sleepy, then go home or don't report for work, and let the responsible ones stay on guard.

It is a failure of leadership talaga kung yung nag surprise visit ay tatanungin lang kung bakit sila tulog. Kaya nga nag-iikot para gawing sample sa lahat ang kahalagahan ng tamang pagtatrabaho.

It may be true whether it's a corporate world or a police organization, that the emotions of individuals are the same. Ipahiya mo sila sa harapan ng maraming tao, obviously bababa ang moral nila. Baka nga yun pulis kapag sobrang napahiya, eh baka bumunot ng baril at barilin yung naninigaw sa kanya eh. But that would only mean the cop is not right for the job, and the commanding officer failed to instill responsibility on his team.

It should always be the fault of the commanding officer. It's called command responsibility.

Thus if the commanding officer could not discipline his team, regardless how many times he has coached them, - zero or a dozen times- then it could only mean either there is no respect of authority being accorded by the team to their commanding officer because he does not have the qualities of being a leader.

Let's remove "fear" of their leader from the equation and work on "respect" instead.

Also, every policeman should know what their job entails. There is no room for sleeping in the job because lives are at stake. They should be like ants during duty. Ants actually never sleep. Policemen can sleep at their homes when they are off-duty.

Failure of leadership talaga if hindi Mila marealize na even policemen needs to rest, but they should do it at their own homes and not while on duty. The top brass should implement humane and realistic work setup so the peeps under him could work effectively.
