COA Flags PCOO Over 1.83 Million Worth of Meals for 2019

Wazzup Pilipinas!

P1.83 million worth of meals of bureau under Presidential Communications Operations Office’s (PCOO) lack documents according to the Commission on Audit. The COA has flagged PCOO for more than a million worth of meal expenditures during meetings due to lack of supporting documents.

Noong 2019, P1.8-M ang ginastos ng Bureau of Broadcast Services ng Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO-BBS) para sa pagkain umano, ibinunyag ng Commission on Audit (COA).

Based on COA s annual audit report, the P1.83 million was spent for meals during various meetings but were not supported with documents that would show the meetings as official--a violation of Presidential Declaration 1445 and COA Circular No. 2012-001.

Section 4.6 of PD No. 1445 states that “claims against government funds shall be supported with complete documentation," while COA Circular No.  2012-001 prescribes that all types of disbursements must be supported with sufficient and relevant documents to establish validity of claims.

According to COA, below are the expenses of the PCOO-BBS every month of 2019:

• P175,817 January
• P342,890 February
• P71,343 March
• P143,013 April
• P84,429 May
• No record for June
• P213,702  July
• P189,034  August
• P134,537  September
• P164,344  October
• P100,190  November
• P211,415  December

What kind of meals did Martin Andanar and staff eat last year? Grabe parang dayokdok ito. Madaming gutom sa PCOO. Kumain na, meron pang take-out!

Seriously, kaya nagtatabaan ang mga hinayupak. Everyday eat-all-you-can buffet siguro po sila. Have you seen Andanar lately? Has he grown to be eligible enough for The Biggest Loser?!

Purgahin lahat iyan!

So DOT, DOH/PHILHEALTH, PCSO, and now PCOO.... In short, dito napupunta mga buwis natin, sa pangungurakot.

Kaya pala laging may energy gumawa ng fake news at mag red tag, busog na busog ang mga linta!

Patay-gutom ang mga timawang DDS. Lafang galore talaga sila kapag libre.

We all know that already. Initially, puro investigations lang, but sooner or later, wala ding nangyayari diyan. Nakakasawa lang. Pinapaikot lang tayong mamamayan! What we all need to see now eh may managot at maparusahan kahit kaalyado iyan ng government o kalaban. Rotten system iyan, nothing new.

Twin Bombings in Jolo, Sulu: Suicide Bombers Highly Suspected

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Joint Task Force Sulu Commander BGen. William Gonzales says investigation is still ongoing to confirm who or what group was behind the bombings in Jolo, Sulu. He also confirmed that no third explosion occurred.

Reports state that two Islamic militants were responsible with the country’s worst extremist attack this year.

The national police is mobilizing all available security forces in the aftermath of the twin bombings.

Various agencies, including the DND and AFP, under the Duterte administration, has coveted a record-high intel and surveillance budget of Php8.5-billion.

Despite this, the Jolo, Sulu twin bombings happened under their noses.

Anyare?

We demand the truth on the Jolo, Sulu twin bombings and justice for the innocent victims who perished.

However, we warn the PNP and NCRPO not to use the recent attacks to justify heightened police presence and abuse of authority in NCR and other urban centers.

The PNP said it supports Army chief Lt. Gen. Cirilito Sobejana’s push for a declaration of martial law in Sulu after the recent two bombings that hit Jolo.

"This will allow the military and police more operational flexibility to carry out law enforcement operations against domestic threat groups in the area," PNP chief Gen Archie Gamboa says in a statement.

Senators Panfilo Lacson and Vicente Sotto say the anti-terror bill is enough.

So far, the Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) is the only group suspected to be behind the Jolo, Sulu twin bombings that killed at least 14 and wounded at least 75 on Monday, August 25.

Could it be that the bombings are a fear tactic to convince people that the military force must be protected, is the priority, and has to get the vaccine first?

The CHR said that it will conduct an investigation calling the act as “cruel and inhuman.”

Philippine Coast Guard commandant Admiral George Ursabia places their Southwestern Mindanao District under red alert as a result of the twin bombings in Sulu.

Authorities said they will also implement strict security measures in Metro Manila following the twin bombings.
