Before the latest earthquake struck Davao, we were there doing the iconic Wazzup Pilipinas shout-out at the Parents Against Vapes launch at Acacia Hotel here in Davao

First lady Honeyley Avancena, current partner of our President, was main guest who talked about how supportive she is against these e-cigarettes that has been luring our youth because of its deceptive marketing strategies - numerous flavors, colorful and cool packaging, convenient sizes, etc.,

Cielito "Honeylet" Salvador Avanceña, a Filipina businesswoman and former nurse. She is the current partner of Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte. Avanceña and Duterte have been in a relationship since at least the mid-1990s and have a daughter named Veronica.

She even discussed how relatable it was and how her daughter has mentioned never to be attracted to these modern type of cigarettes.

She also said she is willing to be invited and sent anywhere just to promote against these vapes and e-cigs.

I heard that the next run of this campaign may be held in Baguio city, so watch out for updates from our social media pages.

Leading this campaign is JCI Lakambini Davao in partnership with many other organizations that are equally opposing cigarettes and tobaccos.
