Wazzup Pilipinas!

Who doesn't want the recognition of being awarded as a beauty queen? But for those already married and beyond the age of the primary pageant searches, there are those intended for the Mrs, just as reputable as it

Michelle Vitug Encarnacion, who is from Bicol, is the President and CEO of Belemere' Skin Care Centre. But behind her glamorous lifestyle, has a soft spot in her heart for the less fortunate, thus regularly helping out in different foundations here in the Philippines by giving seminars, feedibg programs, donating school supplies, sponsoring scholarships and many more.

Giving back, especially when you have been blessed with lots of opportunities and graces of many forms, is a noble thing to do. Our generosity would often be rewarded in multiples, but getting the radiant and warmth feeling inside is already enough. Let us be an instrument to do good in our own little ways, to help those in need like children who needs our love and support.

She always SMILE (Share More In Love and Effort) as her primary advocacy for the next generation, our hope and future, the children.

Launching of Michelin Energy XM2+ for Small and Medium Cars

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Michelin just recently held a media launch of their new tire called Energy XM2+, the next version upgrade of their XM2, which now boast of course of better performance capitalizing on their high-end technology to improve everyones mobility.

Their tires, of various sizes, are said to have that stopping superpower designed for small and medium cars just like my Toyota Avanza, and other vehicles within the mentioned categories.

With the rainy season, something I hmjust experienced the night I am writing this will allow me to stop better especially when you are driving with low visibility because of strong rains that even your windshield wiper is too slow to clear your sight on the road.

The tires are usable even after certain wear that skids will be lessen because they could still have that necessary grip on the roads regardless if wet or dry.

In an exclusive interview with Michael Nunag, Country Director of Michelin, he enumerated the features which puts Michelin on top of the other brands with impressive results at testing done by third-party entities.

The media launch was held at the Manila Polo Club in McKinley, Bonifacio Global City on September 11, 2019.

Below is the official press release from the event:

Michelin, the world’s leading tire company, unveiled the MICHELIN Energy XM2+ with the tagline: “Your Stopping Superpower” at the Manila Polo Club September 11. Targeting young and budget-conscious consumers looking for tires with safety and performance that last, the MICHELIN Energy XM2+ is the ideal fitment for small- and mid-size passenger cars. Developed to outperform its previous generation in wet braking, the MICHELIN Energy XM2+ offers ultimate safety – both when new, and throughout its useful life.

Michael Nunag, Michelin Chief Representative to the Philippines revealed that: “The MICHELIN Energy XM2+ improves, in various aspects, on its predecessor – the MICHELIN Energy XM2, which has been a leading mass-market tire for 8 consecutive years. Its performance is made to last. Also, the tire’s “Stopping Superpower” is preserved at a high level, even when the tire has been used for a long time. As its advertising campaign goes, MICHELIN Energy XM2+ is a “Stopping Superpower”, keeping consumers safe and confident on the road, time after time.”

Nunag explained that the MICHELIN Energy XM2+, with a new full-silica rubber compound, provides shorter wet braking distances by 1.5 meters when new, and by 2.6 meters when worn, compared to the average of other premium tire manufacturers*. The tire also offers longer mileage that outlasts other premium tire manufacturers** by 25%.

“The ‘+’ sign on the sidewall denotes the rubber compound upgrade that is behind the braking superiority of the MICHELIN Energy XM2+ versus its predecessor. The tire also maintains the Green ‘X’ marking of its predecessor, indicating optimized fuel savings. We hope the combination of enhanced safety and superior value-for-money will particularly appeal to the younger consumers,” Nunag added.

The new MICHELIN Energy XM2+ is now available at Michelin’s authorized dealers across the nation in 36 sizes, from 14- to 16-inch diameter. For more information, please visit www.michelin.com.ph
