SiniMusika Art and Music Festival

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Have you ever thought that in a country which art had sprung into different forms, have we overlooked a certain form? SINIMUSIKA, an event by De La Salle University's Economics Organization, is an art and music festival which aims to promote awareness of the varieties of art forms. Through this event, we would widen our perspectives about the different forms of art we are exposed to and appreciate the ones we may have overlooked.

SINIMUSIKA wants to provide opportunities for rising artists in different fields of arts to showcase their talents and passion with their respective art forms by supporting their beneficiary, Heart of Music, who aims to support struggling artists with disabilities.

Artists performing workshops for caricatures, jewelry making, impromptu acting, make up and videography would showcase the different forms of art. Aside from that, we have exhibits on food art, digital art, paintings and Live Paint! We'll be ending the day with the most appreciated form of art, music, with performances from Majam Sisters, Swipe Left, Parelax, Lola Amour, Muni Muni and NEVER THE STRANGERS.

Let's celebrate art and its different forms on July 27, 2018 at De La Salle University-Manila's Ground Floor, Henry Sy Sr. Hall!

Catch Who Runs The World’s Mong Chin Yeoh at this year’s History Con

Wazzup Pilipinas!
Singaporean blogger Yeoh Mong Chin, star of LIFETIME’s all-new travelogue Who Runs the World With Mong Chin, is headed to Manila for the country’s biggest entertainment convention, from August 10 to 12, 2018 at World Trade Center, Pasay City. Attendees of HISTORY CON 2018 can look forward to hearing firsthand her inspiring travel stories, what it was like to run a marathon in Cebu, and what she loves about traveling in the Philippines and Asia.

“Embarking on this project is a first in many ways for me and encompasses all the things that I’ve always loved from travel, food and photography,” she shared.

Mong Chin took part in the Spartan Sprint as part of the Spartan Race Cebu 2018, facing multiple obstacles as she had to climb, push, jump, and crawl through fire, mud and barbed wire in order to finish the race. Right after though, she managed to stop by Cebu’s famous BBQ street, Larsian Sa Fuente, the ultimate go-to place for Cebuano foodies.

“Being a part of Who Runs the World has given me the confidence to overcome many challenges and brought me closer to my followers as well. I’m excited to use this opportunity as a new platform to be able to share my experiences by creating unique and authentic content for my followers,” Mong Chin added.

Who Runs the World With Mong Chin is among the latest of LIFETIME Asia’s lineup of shows seeking to encourage and empower women to continue making inspiring and influential content.

The Yamaha Club returned to Jariel’s peak last July 8 to officially announce their partnership with the well-known tourist spot. 160 riders were part of the event even though the damp weather made the journey difficult.

In addition to that, officialls declared that Yamaha Club members may now exclusively avail of a 10% discount on all meals in the menu of the establishment.

The activity presented plenty of perks for attendees. Their motorcycles were refreshed with free change oil. Helmets were renewed with complementary helmet cleaning. Yamaha genuine parts and apparel were available to enthusiasts looking to add to their collection or in need of new pieces for their unit. Non-members of the Yamaha club had this opportunity to sign up and be part of the growing family. Entertainment encompassed the rest of the day with performers and raffle prizes for the riders.

The Yamaha Club will be back at Jariel’s Peak on December for a special holiday treat.
