foodpanda Continues to Go Green with the Launch of Bike Delivery Service

Wazzup Pilipinas!

As the world moves toward its sustainability goals across all industries, foodpanda, the on-demand food delivery service in the Philippines, recognizes how it shapes the country's food industry and its impact on food wastage and the environment.

After the successful opt-in/out cutlery initiative, foodpanda continues to strive to become an environmental-friendly delivery service with the launch of its fleet of pink bicycle riders in Metro Manila. Starting in July, a large group of pink cyclists will start roaming the busy streets of the metro to deliver food to hungry customers.

“We, at foodpanda, are taking into account the importance of an environmentally friendly delivery service by continuously increasing our group of non-motorcyclist riders. This is so we can potentially lessen our contribution to pollution and traffic on the streets.,“ shared Iacopo Rovere, CEO for foodpanda Philippines.

This initiative of foodpanda is just one of the few steps in its effort to reduce the impact on the environment and also to continue with their Go Green Campaign. Adding walkers in the delivery fleet is also in the pipeline with the hopes to continually reduce the use of vehicles on the streets and reduce contribution to pollution.

Simply download the foodpanda app or go to foodpanda’s website to place your order and wait for the food you love to be delivered to your doorstep! Also, the delivery fee is now P49 reduced from P59!

Dito Lang Ako Movie To Be Shown pn August 8

Wazzup Pilipinas!

It's official. Dito Lang Ako the movie featuring Michelle Vito, Jon Lucas and Akihiro Blanco, is coming to a theatre near you on August 8, 2018.

It's a fascinating live story that transcended through time. From the past to the present, the much awaited conclusion of the story is highly anticipated as we follow the characters and immerse ourselves within their romance.

Below is a preview of the movie:

Sometimes it’s not the two people aren’t right for each other, it’s more like the timing wasn’t right and there’s nothing sadder than meeting your one great love at the wrong time --- that’s how the selfless love story of Nelia and Delfin  started.

Nelia the woman who believes in promises of love, keeps on waiting and hoping that   the man she lost 40 years ago will come back. She can’t be moved with the memories of love she once shared with Delfin. Everything was perfect then, their love was the most perfect love story that everyone wish to had, that’s how she recalls their tale set amid the timeless beauty of Quezon City in 1970’s.  But not all good things last forever even they are each other “the one” the timing wasn’t meant for them to keep them together.  Will Nelia be strong enough to move on? Will Delfin’s love transcend through time? And will their love be patient enough to wait for the perfect time and love that they deserve.

As Nelia and Delfin’s story unfold, ” Dito Lang Ako”  becomes more than just a recollection of a past romance, it shows what love can do to change people, and will teach us to love unconditionally.

Dito nang una kitang nakita,
at nakilala ka ng puso ko
Dito nakuha ang iyong oo,
sa isat isay tayo'y nangako

PRE-CHORUS:
Mahal yayakapin ko ang ating alaala
Kahit nag paalam na

CHORUS:
Dito lang ako naghihintay sayo
Kung saan tayo nag simula
hinding hindi bibigay
Kung maisip mo na bumalik sa piling ko
Dito Dito Dito Dito lang ako...... Dito lang ako

VERSE2:
Dito tayo gumawa ng plano,
ang bukas natin puno ng kulay
Dito lumalim ang ating pag ibig,
panaginip natin abot kamay
