Everyday is Playday once again as almost all SM Super Malls will have special events or activities for children. There's no stopping children from once again enjoying special activities or events during thus season when children could take advantage of special attractions at SM City North EDSA and 17 other malls.
More than 20 latest toy collection launchings from global brands, more than 60 characthers and brands such as Spongebob, Beyblade and Hasbro Gaming, will tour all 18 malls for shows and meet & greet sessions.
For tech-related features, there are Sony Playstation and Fujifilm Instax, while Pay Maya and Globe G-cash offers 30% rebate for loyal customers availing toys through mobile payments.
Shimmer and Shine new toy collection will kick off on May 5 to 6, Beyblade will have a comeback on August 31 to September 2 with Explosive Shoot Beyblade, Hasbro Gaming will have activations at selected SM Malls from April to October, Nutty Scientists will have roadshows at all SM Metro Manila malls, and SM Cares will be bringing DSWD partner charities and organizations including SOS Children's Villages Philippines to shows and events.
A kick-off event was held at SM City North EDSA Skydome on April 13 where several parents and their children participated to witness the presentations and announcements of some of the brands and officials from SM Supermalls. There were several stalls offering a glimpse of the toys, and some offering complimentary food and drinks especially wonderful for the children. Several mascots were also there to add fun and excitement for the young ones and once.
It is truly #EverydayIsPlaydayAtSM and thus I am so missing the good times when my children were still young and playful.
My children are all grown up so the times when my wife and I used to bring them to theme parks, malls and the likes for weekend bonding has lessened since they now have their friends as companions.
It is now a challenge to bring all three of them along since most of the time it conflicts with their own "weekend bonding."
I guess our children are at a stage in their lives that it feels awkward to be seen hanging out with their parents. It makes us wonder if maturing means losing the intimate relationship.
But don't get me wrong, my children are all loving except that they are just too preoccupied with their own tasks.
Maybe when they get married and have children of their own, then maybe we can oncecagain have fun playdays with our grandchildren. Lol!
Hahaha! It's too early to wish for that moment but it is bound to hapoen soon, and they'll now have to compete with us in bringing happiness to their children as we take them to SM Malls for weekends.
