Epson Launches New LightScene Accent Lighting Laser Projector for Retail, F&B, and Hospitality Industry

Epson, the world's leading projector manufacturer[1], has announced the launch of the LightScene projector, a new category of spotlight-shaped accent lighting laser projectors. The innovative projector is designed to simultaneously illuminate and project dynamic content on virtually any surface or material.

The new projectors offer a fresh solution for retailers, restaurants, bars or hotels facing an increasingly competitive environment, by providing an innovative experience for digital art, commercial signage, and spatial design applications.

The LightScene EV-100 series is ideal for curated visual environments such as retail showrooms, shop window displays, museum exhibits and art installations where minimal visual clutter is key.

The LightScene series are available in two colours– LightScene EV-100 in white and LightScene EV-105 in black. They blend in discreetly and offer an array of configuration, mounting and programming options. The technology offers the best of both worlds – beautiful displays and unobtrusive visuals – while providing performance, versatility and reliability. 



Additional features include:

  • 3LCD laser technology – Epson laser technology provides up to 20,000 hours of virtually maintenance-free operation[2], plus a sealed optical engine for amazing image quality and outstanding performance.
  • Robust content tools for ease of programming– The Epson Content Manager software includes templates, effects, colour and shape filters, and customizable options. Users can also create playlists, and schedule synchronized playback for up to 16 projectors at the same time.
  • Management and control – Control the projector remotely with PC/ smart devices using Epson Web Control via the browser. User can also manage multiple projectors simultaneously using the Epson Management Software such as checking of status, and power on/off scheduling via the network.
  • Scalable for an array of applications – Install multiple LightScene projectors and utilize Edge Blending technology for versatile, breath taking displays.
  • Flexible positioning – Includes vertical and horizontal rotation with 360-degree mounting on floors, walls, or ceilings; 1.58x powered optical zoom and powered focus allows for installation in both large and small spaces
  • Expansive connectivity – HDMI, wired and wireless LAN, and SD card slot for direct content storage when needed.
  • Bright visual display system – Offers up to 2,000 lumens of color brightness and 2,000 lumens of white brightness for vibrant, rich colours.

A Strong Start for Suzuki-Wheeltek's Jacq Buncio at the PSBK

Jacq Buncio of the Suzuki-Wheeltek Racing Team had a strong start at the Philippine Superbike (PSBK) races this weekend at Batangas Racing Circuit (BRC) on board the GSX-R1000R. Jacq capped the first leg of the competition with 3 podium wins giving her veteran contenders an unprecedented tough fight during the race.

Jacq competed in 3 events of the PSBK at the first leg of the National Motorcycle Championships 2018 - the Philippine Superbike Nationals Rookie and Novice categories which made her the youngest and the first ever female participant of the race. Her second event was the Philippine Superbikes Cup or better known as the Pirelli Cup Heavyweight A class, which was an advanced move from the Heavyweight B class that she dominated last year.

The beginning of the race saw Jacq getting more and more attuned with her GSX-R1000R and after a few laps; her confidence grew which landed her with 3 podium wins. She got the top and 2nd places for the Philippine Superbike Nationals Rookie and Novice categories respectively while bagging the 3rd spot for the Pirelli Cup Heavyweight A class.

Last Sunday's event was the first competitive race that the young rider joined in with the 6th generation GSXR machine.

The PSBK Series is a 6-leg race running within the National Motorcycle Championships 2018. Watch out for Suzuki-Wheeltek Racing Team on leg 2 slated on June 2-3 at Batangas Racing Circuit.

Powerful Beginning for Suzuki-VMan Racing Team at the MotoIR Championships

Suzuki-VMan Racing Team came in powerful at the first round of the MotoIR Championship on Sunday, April 22 at Batangas Racing Circuit bagging 3 awards and a pole position on the Suzuki GSX-R150. 

This is Suzuki's big return on the MotoIR and the brand's comeback has proven that the team is a strong force to be reckoned with. The Suzuki-VMan Racing Team is composed of veteran riders and Suzuki Asian Challenge (SAC) graduates April King Mascardo and Eane Jaye Sobretodo with promising young racers Djereck Ondillio and Dan Carlo Alvarado. Mascardo and Sobretodo are competing at the MotoIR Championship Expert (MotoIR1) category while Ondillio and Alvarado race at MotoIR Novice/Beginners category (MotoIR3). 

The MotoIR1 saw Sobretodo securing the pole position and leading the first few laps with Mascardo on his tail at the lead pack. In the next laps however, a technical problem occurred with Sobretodo leaving Mascardo to secure the team's position which landed him 3rd on the podium. 

The MotoIR3 on the other hand, showcased consistent strong performances of both Ondillio and Alvarado who started the race at 1st and 2nd positions on the grid capping the race with a smooth 1-2 finish.
