#MochaUsonIsOverParty: The Suspension of Mocha Uson's Twitter Account

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Coffee Ad: How do you like your mocha?
Me: SUSPENDED!
STOP THE LIES!

Twitter dragged the hell out of Mocha and her ill-informed legion earlier. Well-deserved!
Hey Twitter! Why would you suspend Mocha Uson's account? Where would I get my dose of fake news and Duterte fan-fiction?

But we may be too late for the party as she might just get it activated again soon...and by the time this article comes out, Twitter must have activated it again.

Mocha Uson can be viewed as a symptom of our country's dearth of critical thinking. She is poisonous. Queen of fake news. Leader of red minions.
See, as expected... water will always seek its own level... dito sa twitter, may brain meter. di siya umabot sa quota. She may have mastered and hijacked Facebook but Twitter is a different battleground that one misinformation cannot win easily.

Twitter has been cracking down on terrorists and hate speech lately. Good job, Twitter! Facebook should follow soon. On Facebook, Mocha says she’ll be using the @mochamanager account in the meantime. We can always report her again for targeted harassment, then click on the tweets where she harasses VP Leni. You can do that too.

Twitter is where educated and open-minded people converse. No place for Mocha there. It's disturbing how her followers take her side without even looking at the whole picture.

Matthew Koma, The Man With EDM’S Golden Touch Is 2017’s International Resident DJ at Chaos Nightclub, City Of Dreams Manila

Matthew Koma, Grammy-award winning songwriter and Billboard chart’s EDM hit maker, will captivate Manila’s party scene on March 11, 2017, Saturday night, with his first salvo as the international resident DJ of the luxurious Chaos Night Club at City of Dreams Manila.

As the international resident DJ of Chaos Manila, Koma is anticipated to return to Manila and perform in August and December 2017. Details of his next EDM event will be announced soon.

American singer-songwriter Koma is popularly known as the “man with EDM's golden touch." He recently released his new hit single "Kisses Back," and an autobiographical single “Hard to Love,” which he co-produced with Louis The Child, the co-writer of The Chainsmokers' Grammy-nominated hit single "Closer."

"Hard to Love" showcases Koma's unique songwriting style with metaphorical and deep verses in contrast to his comedic undertones with these lyrics: "I'm OCD with panic attacks. I've got a thing for Japanese dry snacks. My voice was on like every... house track. Tell me when you've heard enough..." On the other hand, "Kisses Back" spices up club music with real emotion and pop melodies.

His new releases reveal his music evolution to a more refined sound. Over the past year, Koma fully transformed himself as a solo artist. He travelled around the globe to perform in much-raved about music festivals including Coachella, Ultra Music Festival, Lollapalooza South America, and Life in Color.

Koma is one of the most accomplished songwriters behind numerous worldwide hits including Zedd's "Spectrum," and Grammy-award winning hit "Clarity." He is also one of the producers behind chart topping hits such as DJ Hardwell’s "Dare You," Zedd's "Find You," and Tiesto's "Wasted.

As a songwriter, producer, and remixer, Koma has also collaborated with music icons Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Kelly Clarkson and his greatest influence, Bruce Springsteen.

Ticket price is at PhP 1,000 each inclusive of one drink. For ticket inquiries and reservations, please call SM Tickets at 470-2222 or visit www.smtickets.com. For Chaos VIP table reservations, guests can call 0917-8863678 or go to www.chaosmanila.com.

Philippine Senate Celebrates International Women’s Day with Photo Exhibit

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Coinciding with the international celebration of women’s day yesterday, March 8, 2017, women senators led by Akbayan Senator Risa Hontiveros opened a photo exhibit that featured the achievements made by Filipino women senators in the last one hundred years.

The photo exhibit highlighted the role of past and present women senators in nation-building and the Philippine Senate as a democratic institution promoting gender equality and women empowerment.

“The Senate is one of the most hallowed institutions in government. As it reaches its first century, we can proudly say that the role of women has been constant, steadfast and vital to the Senate’s success and relevance. That six Senators sit in office today is a testament to how far the institution has come. We have crafted some of the most important pieces of legislation in our country’s history – The Magna Carta of Women, the Reproductive Health (RH) Law and recently, the Expanded Maternity Leave Bill, which grants 120 days worth of paid maternity leave to working women,” Hontiveros said.

Aside from Hontiveros, the event was attended by Senator Nancy Binay.

Former Senators Eva Estrada Kalaw, Anna Dominique Coseteng, Luisa Ejercito-Estrada, Santanina Rasul also graced the event.

The photo exhibit was organized by the office of Senator Hontiveros in partnership with the Senate Gender and Development Focal Point, the Reference Bureau, the Public Relations and Information Bureau and the institutional Linkages Services of External Affairs and Relations.
