The first and only obstacle racing series within Philippine territories, TN-Guerilla Race Inc. is proud to announce the resumption of the GUERILLA RACE SERIES for 2015 with its entry level challenge, the URBAN GUERILLA RACE. After the success of its series in 2014, the founders headed by Col. Dennis Bumanglag are driven to intensify the obstacles and redefine the overall challenges of the race.

URBAN GUERILLA RACE  is set on April 12, 2015 at the Ninoy Aquino Parks & Wildlife in Quezon City. The benefit race will support the H.E.R.O. Foundation by donating a part of the registration fees to assist the education of the orphans of our soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the service of this country. 

"The H.E.R.O. Foundation is truly close to our hearts especially since I, myself had also been in the service of our country," says Col. Bumanglag. "The government can only do so much and we, as citizens should also make an effort to help the families of these brave soldiers who defended our country without second thought."

“Asia’s Got Talent” Premiere Tops Philippine Ratings

AXN’s highly anticipated “Asia’s Got Talent” premiere collectively topped ratings among English Pay TV channels in Southeast Asia.

During the show’s two hour debut on Thursday, March 12 at 8:05pm, AXN delivered more than 10 times the ratings of the next English general entertainment channel across Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines[1].

“Asia’s Got Talent” was the top AXN program year to date in the country. During its telecast, AXN ranked #1 with more than 80 per cent share amongst all English general entertainment channels, and ranked #2 amongst all Pay TV channels.

In Singapore, “Asia’s Got Talent” led the ratings chart in its timeslot for English Pay TV channels and AXN was also the top English channel for the night on StarHub.

In Malaysia, “Asia’s Got Talent” was the #1 rated show in its timeslot across all English channels on Astro. AXN dominated the timeslot with over 80 per cent share across all English general entertainment channels.

The UP Association of Business Administration Majors (UP ABAM), based in the Cesar E.A. Virata School of Business, University of the Philippines-Diliman, together with the Sociedad de Historia of De La Salle University (SDH), are taking a step further not only in achieving their goals of molding the future corporate leaders and history advocates of the country, but of making relevant events happen for the benefit of the society at large.

UP ABAM and SDH, in partnership with Yabang Pinoy, a Filipino pride movement which envisions every Filipino being proud to be Filipino, believing in fellow Filipinos, and patronizing Filipino ideas, concepts and services, have brought together a group of exceptional individuals specially formed to lead a campaign that aims to inspire the youth into becoming advocates of Filipino pride and culture.

They will be holding an activity entitled “Pinakamahabang Todo Patintero 2015”. Living up to our campaign of promoting Filipino pride and culture, Pinakamahabang Todo Patintero, now on its 6th year, is a tournament of Patintero games whose goal is to encourage our original Larong Pinoy.

The said event will be open to teams of five; composed of high school students to young professionals, of ages 15 and above. It will be held on March 22, 2015 at the Sunken Garden of UP Diliman, Quezon City.
