Lampara Books Launches Moymoy Lulumboy: Ang Batang Aswang

Lampara books have been a pioneer publishing house known for publishing works of Filipino writers, who create original stories full of values and lessons for children. On September 18, 2014 at the Mall of Asia SMX Convention Center was a press launch of Lampara’s latest young adult fiction series, “Moymoy Lulumboy: Ang batang aswang” coincides with 2014 Manila Book Fair. Hosted by Ms. Gay Castro and Sir Toots Tolentino, the event was well-attended by people from the press, media and young fanatics of the series. A breathtaking musical performance by the FEU Theatre Guild entertained the crowd.

Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI), Honda’s automobile business unit in the Philippines launches the All New Brio and Brio Amaze at the 5th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) at World Trade Center, Pasay City.

During the opening, HCPI’s President and General Manager, Toshio Kuwahara unveiled to local media the much-anticipated All New Brio (hatchback) and Brio Amaze (sedan). The Brio (Italian for “energetic” and “cheerful”) series, was especially created for the emerging demands of the Asian market – automobiles that will facilitate personal mobility. The Brio model’s development is backed by Honda’s extensive experience in creating compact cars such as the Jazz and City which are examples of the application of Honda’s “man maximum, machine minimum” design concept. While relatively the most affordable car in Honda’s vehicle line-up, the Brio models proudly embody high levels of Honda DQR – durability, quality and reliability.

“These cars were specifically developed to match the evolving needs of our customers,” Kuwahara said at the launch event. “Today, we are revealing Honda's answer to the small car for Filipino motorists. We are joining the small car segment in a big way by setting a new standard with these two vehicles.”

Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) launched two new vehicles and showcased two concept cars to the delight of the media and car enthusiasts who assembled at the 5th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) at World Trade Center, Pasay City.

Focused on giving more people the joy of mobility, Honda unveiled the All New Brio (hatchback) and Brio Amaze (sedan) as its entries to the small car segment in the Philippines. While relatively the most affordable cars in Honda’s vehicle line-up, the Brio models proudly embody high levels of Honda DQR – durability, quality and reliability.

“These cars were specifically developed to match the evolving needs of our customers,” said HCPI’s President and General Manager, Toshio Kuwahara at the launch event. The Brio’s compact build and sporty interiors make it an ideal car for people who live a young and active lifestyle, while the Brio Amaze, relatively longer than its hatchback counterpart, has spacious and elegant interior for the comfort and enjoyment of its passengers who may include young families who are always on the go.
