Wazzup Pilipinas Original Short Stories Series: The Last Name, My Greatest Memory

Wazzup Pilipinas!

The narrator of the story is Ace Pacifista. He was once human when he was still among the living but is now a scheduler, the one who fetches the souls of the dead and guides them towards Tartarus, the World of the Dead. He makes a deal with the Keeper, the one who keeps the Cinematic Record of Life, to regain his memory.

A Cinematic Record is a recollection of an individual's memories, depicted as a brief movie.

When Ace learned that Kathleen, the former love of his life, has been trying to commit suicide for several times already due to his death, he made a request to the Keeper to erase his memories from Kathleen to end her suffering.

Kathleen forgets about him but leaving a mark on Ace that even in the new memory that the Keeper has rewritten on her, she will still love him.

Here is our short story for the day. You'll definitely enjoy this one.

Kaspersky Lab has new and updated security products for the Philippine consumers namely the Kaspersky Internet Security for hardcore Internet users, the Kaspersky Anti-Virus for occasional Internet users, and the Kaspersky Internet Security – Multi-Device 2015, which will be currently available only in the Philippines in the entire Southeast Asian region.

"The popularity and affordability of mobile devices as well as the accessibility of Internet has made Filipinos more gadget-loving and Internet-savvy than their regional counterparts that it’s no wonder almost everyone’s going online from their devices here. Unfortunately, this scenario makes Filipinos become increasingly and easily vulnerable to cyber-threats, particularly those using social engineering tactics, through multiple access points," warned Jesmond Chang, Corporate Communications Manager of Kaspersky Lab South East Asia.

At an event dubbed as Kaspersky Lab 2015 Consumer Suite Philipine Media Launch held last September 11, 2014 at the Gandiva Cafe and Archery Range located at teh 7th Floor of One Corporate Center building in Ortigas Center, Kasperky launched the said products, and treated the members of the media to an archery experience as well as a competition to later on reward the winner of the challenge.
