Ltd.-GS Engineering & Construction Joint Venture (Kumho-GS).

“The eco-tourism showcase that is Puerto Princesa, as well as the rest of Palawan, will soon have a modern, world-class airport which we can be as proud of as the destination itself. With beaches and other natural wonders attracting throngs of visitors from all over the globe, it will finally have a gateway that is befitting of its stature,” said DOTC Secretary Joseph Abaya.

In compliance with its Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract, Kumho-GS will begin with the design component by the third quarter of this year. While the joint venture is preparing the airport’s detailed engineering design, it will likewise begin mobilizing its equipment and securing various project permits.

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Epson Philippines Corporation has invited their media friends to join Epson Fusion V. The event is scheduled on Wednesday to Friday, May 21 to 23, 2014.

For this year, they announced that participants are heading to the exclusive Bluewater Resort located on Sumilon Island. The island is located at the southeastern tip of the Cebu mainland.
"There is a legend about an island with white sand beaches and a lush forest... They say that this idyllic place takes its name from being a storm shelter for fishermen, where they can take cover from strong typhoons. With this very warm weather, Isn't it the perfect time to discover this island?"

The name Sumilon came from “sumilong”, which means to take refuge. Sumilon Island is known as a storm shelter for fishermen during strong typhoons. It is the first marine protected area in the Philippines and was made a fish sanctuary in 1974 under the guidance of Siliman University Marine Reserve.

Fusion is the annual media appreciation activity of Epson Philippines Corporation, and is one way of showing their gratitude for their media friends' help in Epson's programs and activities.
