Alyz Henrich : Congratulations to Miss Earth 2013

Congratulations again to the new Miss Earth 2013 Alyz Henrich @HenrichAlyz as she sends us her Holiday greetings. It's only a few days away until Christmas day and we sure are glad to be celebrating it with the new Ambassador for the welfare of the Earth.

There were many questions that were answered ubiquitously that caused my eyebrows to raise and left my mouth open wide in awe. I don't know if the contestants were just lost in the translation or their nerves were just too stressed out, but what really struck me was: "Aside from climate change, what is the biggest threat to Mother Earth?" Miss Thailand: "Human behavior affects the whole world." So True.

Mother Earth hates the stupid question : "A month after Yolanda struck the country, how do you think Mother Earth feels now?" Duh?!

Thew pageant was held last December 7 at Versailles Alabang in Las Pinas and started at around 8 pm.

Global Gateway Logistics City sets its very first Aerotropolis Half Marathon

Gwill host the very first GGLC Aerotropolis Half Marathon dubbed as “SCTEX Challenge: Run Beyond Your Limits”. The Half Marathon will start at the GGLC grounds extending to the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX). An estimated 2000 participants will join the marathon composed of 3km, 5km, 10km and 21km distances.

Organized by Hubble Multisport in partnership with GGLC, this aims to be the premier running event in Central Luzon by utilizing SCTEX in the course which allows participants to enjoy the scenic view of the country’s longest expressway giving them a unique and unforgettable running experience.
