Operation Blessing Foundation Philippines, the humanitarian arm of CBN Asia, has now served over 116,000 survivors of super typhoon Yolanda in its continued relief and rehabilitation efforts, medical missions, trauma counseling and listening ministry.
Partnering with different local and international organizations, Operation Blessing has successfully reached survivors in the remotest areas severely battered by Yolanda.
“In Samar, we have partnered with the La Salle group of medical practitioners composed of 12 doctors and eight nurses and together we did a medical mission in several remote villages. We have also complemented the efforts of the Israeli team which is doing its medical mission in Tacloban. We have also partnered with the DSWD in providing counseling sessions to the survivors as they struggle with their difficult situations. Our partner churches in Manila help us out in sorting used clothes for efficient distribution to the typhoon survivors,” said Dr. Kim Pascual, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Operation Blessing.
