The World of Toyota at the World Trade Center

Wazzup Pilipinas!

My very first car was a Toyota.

I chose Toyota as my first car so I won't have any problems in finding parts and repairing it. Why? Because it's the most popular and economical car in the country including its parts and accessories. Almost every mechanic also knows how to fix a Toyota. I guess it's the easiest car to fix and troubleshoot. I seldom have a problem with my Toyota and it has never given me headaches.

I learned to drive with  it, scratched and bumped it too many times, but it has never given up on me except for the air-conditioning. It even sank under the floods of Ondoy, but it still survived and ran beautifully after a few cleaning and overhauling. It's one tough wheeled machine.

Alodia and Ashley Gosiengfao at the Best of Anime 2013

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Now who doesn't know Alodia and Ashley Gosiengfao? You're probably from another planet if you haven't heard about the two famous sisters of cosplay.

I've known the two since way back my Level Up Games time as one of their IT guys who was always present in every Level Up Games event especially those that involve cosplayers. There is such a wonder seeing boys and girls, even grown men and women, donning costumes patterned after their favorite anime or game character.

The sisters were already famous back then and that was back in the year 2004. Level Up Games just had two Massive Multiplayer Oline Role Playing Game MMORPG (Ragnarok and Oz) back then.

Greenstallations : Outdoor Masterpieces In Nuvali

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Those fabulous art sculptures have been a feast to the eyes whenever I visit museums and attend art exhibits but it is a shame that these masterpieces could only be viewed inside establishments with most of them with a fee.

Most individuals belonging to the majority of our society would not bother spending even a single peso to get in a museum because their priorities would be to get pass through their daily needs of food, clothing and shelter. It is not like the "load" in your mobile phones which is also now becoming a necessity for us to keep connected and well informed.

That is why I admire those establishments that have art sculptures displayed in front of their buildings and offices. Some would even pay great amounts just to have a piece of art decorate their property. These works of art are a fascinating window to the imagination of the artists and each and everyone of us could have our own vivid interpretations of their works. But everyone all get the satisfaction of appreciating the beauty.

Nuvali, Ayala Land’s 2,290 hectare integrated eco-community in the holds a month-long program this August called Greenstallations that aims to celebrate and promote sustainable way of living through art. Owing to its commitment to economic, social and environmental sustainability, NUVALI via Greenstallations sets out to promote a deeper appreciation for the arts through outdoor art installations.
