I'd Like to Thank the Academy for Another Steve Harvey Failed Moment for the Oscars

Anyone else had a feeling of Deja Vu after watching the Oscars?

Well the plot twist of the century was a mere copycat of the Miss Universe 2016 failed moment.

Just like in the movie, La La Land got a taste of happy ever after right before it got brutally snatched away. The end of the Oscars was just like the end of La La Land. First, came the fantasy dream sequence and then real life came crashing in.

But the movie cast and production were polite enough to announce themselves that Moonlight was the real winner, and that Warren Beatty and his co-presentor Faye Dunaway made a mistake in announcing the real Best Picture winner. 

Of course, they had to blame Steve Harvey for this ala Miss Universe 2016 mistake. I was expecting to see Steve coming out to tell us it was all a joke, but Steve Kimmel could do the breaking of the news instead.

PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) accounting firm has issued an apology after handing the wrong envelope to the presenters of the Best Picture award at the 89th Academy Awards ceremony on Sunday, February 26 (Monday February 27 in the Philippines) leading to the most dramatic Oscars mix-up in history.

Suzuki Philippines could be flaunting well its supremacy for having one of the biggest gathering of riders in history at their annual summit known as the Raider R150 Summit held on February 26, 2017 at the World Trade Center in Pasig city.

The Suzuki Raider R150 Summit 2017 is where the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ for the record title Largest road safety lesson was also achieved boasting of more than 6,100 riders present during the event. The requirement was only 30 minutes of lecture but I think it lasted for almost an hour. Congratulations to Suzuki Motorcycles Philippines for the achievement. 

The morning of the event had everyone, together with the Suzuki Motorcycles Philippines executives, gather infront of the World Trade Center to do several poses for the drone camera shot. It was followed by a ribbon cutting led by Suzuki President Hiroshi Suzuki.

The event featured so many activities and competitions like search for the Custombike Contests, and search for Biker Babe, Astig Rider, and Best Couple Rider, plus presentation of many awards and other recognition to their clubs with cash prizes and others at stake. Games, Raffle, Free Service and Bike Wash were also given as a treat to the riders. And not only that because Suzuki trade partners – Gatorade, IRC Tire, Manila Tactical, MotoActive, MotoWorld, NGK Spark Plugs, NHK Helmets, PacSafe, Pepsi, Racing Boy, RK Racing Chain and Sprocket, Shield, Spyder and XSpeed as well as Suzuki Genuine Parts (SGP) all gave great deals to the attendees at the trade show!

The All New Honda Click 150i Media Launch at Solaire

Honda Philippines recently introduced their newest and top of the line scooter for the Honda Gen-S line-up. 

Hosted by the adorable Tikim Princess of ABS-CBN's Umagang Kay Ganda, Gretchen Ho hosted the event unveiling the new Honda Click 150i having a trailblazing 150cc displacement.

Gen-S models are now expanding in AT and Sports, and now Honda is accelerating their top of the line-up with their newest in the Gen-S AT Model series with the class leading Honda Smart Technology, the All New Click 150i "Ride the Ultimate Gen-S Scooter."

The top management of Honda gave their respective messages at the event led by Honda Philippines President Daiki Mihara.

The media launch was held on February 25, 2017 at Solaire Resorts and Casino Forum 1 function room, while the actual Honda Scooter Fest was held at the Blue Bay Walk parking lots where several motorcycle and scooter riders gathered to participate at the many offerings and activities, including competitions, and witness the unveiling of the new scooter models.
