Navigating Bear Markets with Quantum AI

Wazzup Pilipinas!?

In the world of finance, bear markets present unique challenges for investors and traders.

These periods of declining stock prices can result in significant losses if not properly navigated. However, with the rise of Quantum Artificial Intelligence (Quantum AI), there is a new tool available to help individuals navigate bear markets and minimize their risk. By leveraging quantum ai, investors can process vast amounts of market data at unprecedented speeds, enabling them to make more informed decisions and respond to market changes with greater agility. In this article, we will explore the intersection of bear markets and Quantum AI, and how this advanced technology can be used to predict, analyze, and optimize investment strategies.

Understanding Bear Markets

Before delving into the ways Quantum AI can be utilized in bear market navigation, it is necessary to comprehend the nature of bear markets. Bear markets are characterized by a sustained period of declining stock prices, often accompanied by negative investor sentiment and economic uncertainty.

The Nature of Bear Markets

Bear markets can be triggered by various factors such as economic recessions, geopolitical tensions, or large-scale market corrections. They typically last longer than bull markets and can result in significant portfolio losses. Understanding the characteristics and dynamics of bear markets is crucial for investors to develop effective strategies.

Impact of Bear Markets on Investments

The impact of bear markets on investments can be substantial. Stock prices tend to decline, leading to lower valuations for companies. This can result in reduced portfolio values and diminished investor confidence. Moreover, bear markets can disrupt the performance of various asset classes, impacting both short-term and long-term investment goals.

During bear markets, investors often seek refuge in defensive sectors such as utilities, consumer staples, and healthcare. These sectors are known for their stable performance during economic downturns, providing a cushion against the volatility of the broader market. Additionally, investors may turn to alternative investments like gold, government bonds, or real estate to diversify their portfolios and mitigate risk.

It is important for investors to remain vigilant during bear markets and avoid making impulsive decisions based on short-term market fluctuations. Developing a well-thought-out investment strategy that accounts for the cyclical nature of markets and incorporates risk management techniques can help investors navigate bear markets with greater resilience. By staying informed, diversifying their portfolios, and maintaining a long-term perspective, investors can position themselves to weather the storm and potentially capitalize on opportunities that arise amidst market turmoil.

Introduction to Quantum AI

Understanding the Importance of Customer Relationship Management in Sales Optimization

Wazzup Pilipinas!?

Customer relationship management (CRM) has become a focal point of modern sales strategies.

Businesses can strengthen relationships, improve customer satisfaction, and drive sales growth by effectively managing customer interactions. CRM tools enable organizations to organize contact information and analyze customer data to unlock valuable insights. Understanding these dynamics is essential for sales optimization, ensuring that companies tailor their sales strategies to meet their clientele's specific needs and preferences. Below, we delve into the critical aspects of CRM that can help catapult sales performance to new heights.

The Role of CRM in Understanding and Managing Customer Behaviors

Understanding customer behavior is central to refining sales strategies. CRM analytics offer a window into the actions and preferences of customers, allowing businesses to anticipate needs and respond appropriately. For instance, tracking purchase histories and engagement levels can indicate when a customer is ready for an upsell or renewal, opportunities that sales teams can capitalize on.

Moreover, CRM systems can help identify patterns that result in customer attrition, providing insight into potential pain points or dissatisfaction. With this knowledge, companies can proactively address issues, improving customer experience and reducing churn. These strategies culminate in a more robust bottom line and enhanced brand loyalty.

Integrating artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning in CRM platforms further amplifies these capabilities. Predictive analytics, a feature now commonplace in advanced CRM systems, can accurately forecast future customer behaviors, thus empowering sales representatives to take preemptive actions that align with customer expectations.

In addition, social media integration within CRM allows businesses to monitor and engage with customers on platforms where they spend considerable time. This holistic approach to managing customer interactions across multiple channels ensures that companies remain relevant and responsive in an increasingly connected world.

Streamlining Sales Processes with Advanced CRM Analytics and Tools

CRM analytics go beyond data collection, transforming raw insights into actionable intelligence.

Sales teams can use these tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales cycle length, win rates, and customer acquisition costs. Such granular detail drives strategic planning, helping optimize resources and efforts for maximum impact.

Workflow automation, a feature integrated into CRM, streamlines repetitive tasks, freeing up sales professionals to focus on relationship-building and strategic selling. Automating lead assignments, follow-up reminders, and complex sales sequences can enhance productivity and reduce errors.

Another cornerstone of advanced CRM platforms is the customization and scalability they offer.

Businesses can tailor interfaces and processes to their unique operating environments, allowing the CRM infrastructure to grow and evolve alongside the company. This flexibility ensures that CRM solutions remain relevant, even as sales strategies change.

The emergence and adoption of mobile CRM have further simplified sales management. Sales representatives can now access crucial information on the go, respond to leads promptly, and update records in real-time, all from their mobile devices. This anytime, anywhere access is critical in today’s fast-paced market where responsiveness can be a key differentiator.

Enhancing Customer Retention and Loyalty Through Effective CRM Strategies

Loyal customers are the cornerstone of sustainable business growth. CRM systems support nurturing these important relationships through consistent and relevant engagement. By leveraging customer data, companies can personalize interactions, creating a sense of value and recognition that resonates deeply with clients.

CRM-driven strategies also optimize customer lifecycle management. Tracking each stage—from prospect to repeat customer—allows businesses to tailor communications and promotions to encourage retention. Through timely and targeted outreach, customers feel valued throughout their journey, strengthening loyalty and reducing turnover.

Customer feedback is another vital piece of the retention puzzle that CRM readily captures. Soliciting and acting upon customer feedback demonstrates a commitment to improvement and attentiveness to customer needs. This two-way communication builds trust and signals to customers that their input directly shapes the products and services offered.

Finally, CRM platforms facilitate reward mechanisms, such as loyalty programs, which incentivize repeat business. Businesses can create a sense of belonging and community by leveraging CRM data to offer relevant rewards and recognize milestones in a customer's relationship with the company.

The result is stronger ties and increased advocacy among the customer base.

Altogether, the strategic use of customer relationship management platforms is an undeniable springboard for improved sales outcomes. Through meticulous data analysis, personalized customer engagement, and efficient sales processes, CRM helps businesses reach and surpass their sales goals.

Youth participation key to addressing climate change issues – ChildFund

Wazzup Pilipinas!?

Philippines supports youth in Infanta, Quezon through a climate action program called Project GREENLIGHT. This initiative aims to help address climate change issues and mitigate climate-induced disaster risks, underscoring the central role of youth in driving climate action within their community.

ChildFund Philippines gathered its partners from ReINa Federations of Parents Associations, Inc. and community members of Infanta, Quezon for a tree growing activity in one of the Project Greenlight areas.

Project GREENLIGHT, in partnership with the municipal government of Infanta and ReINa Federations of Parents Associations, Inc., integrates Ecosystem-Based Adaptation (EbA) and Nature-Based Solutions (NbS) into the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) program of Infanta, Quezon.

Project GREENLIGHT represents a comprehensive approach to climate action, acknowledging that climate change is a complex and interconnected issue. “It integrates education, community engagement, and sustainable livelihood development to help the next generation of local eco-leaders combat climate change, especially since the Philippines is prone to various climate hazards and risks due to its geographical location and human activities,” said Erwin Peter Galido, Program Specialist - Disaster Risk Management of ChildFund Philippines. “Our ultimate goal for this project is to eventually make this a national program and support more Filipino youth taking action to mitigate climate change impacts,” he added.

The initiative employs a classroom-to-forest approach to support the youth in taking an active role in environmental protection and conservation, efficient energy consumption, waste management, awareness raising, local policy advocacy, and climate action. It involves taking students out of traditional classroom settings and into natural environments, such as forests, wetlands, or parks, to learn about environmental concepts, ecological systems, and conservation practices firsthand.

"We believe in the power of these young individuals to make a meaningful difference in their communities and beyond. With Project GREENLIGHT, we aim to work hand-in-hand with them to actively contribute as catalysts for climate action, particularly in communities vulnerable to the impacts of disasters, and for a more sustainable and eco-friendly world,” said Anand Vishwakarma, CEO & Country Director of ChildFund Philippines.

Youth leaders and advocates in the program, called Eco-scouts, highlight the importance of youth engagement in creating sustainable solutions to address climate change.

Project GREENLIGHT Eco-scouts Lu By Ron Broto and Ramiline Resplanador stressed the importance of youth participation in climate action during their training on production of quality planting materials and nursery establishment in Infanta, Quezon.

“This immersive approach gives us a better understanding of why we need to combat climate change now more than ever,” said Ramiline Resplanador, one of the Eco-scouts. “Throughout the implementation, we are learning the impacts of deforestation and degradation on our community, and so we encourage other children to become better stewards of our planet,” she added.

Lu By Ron Broto, another Eco-Scout, shared, “I apply what I learn from the project by encouraging my family to switch to more sustainable ways of living, including waste segregation, plant growing, and efficient energy consumption.” He added that the project also enhanced his leadership skills to educate more members of the community about climate change, helping them make conscious choices that have a positive impact on the environment.

The project’s approaches and tools will enable individuals and communities to adapt to the challenges of climate change while simultaneously promoting sustainable development. This includes the promotion of climate-smart agricultural practices, green jobs and livelihoods (e.g., zero waste stores), and renewable energy, among others.

ReINa Federation and the government of Infanta, Quezon have been integral partners in the pilot implementation of the program, demonstrating a commitment to building climate resilience in Infanta, Quezon which is prone to natural disasters because of its diverse landscape.

The government of Infanta emphasizes that climate awareness should lead to action. "It is imperative to get commitments on the ground and to act with more urgency. By thinking globally and acting locally to adapt to our community’s needs, we can effectively utilize our resources to mitigate climate change impacts,” said Ron Pallugna Crisostomo, Municipal Government Department Head I - Local Disaster Risk Reduction Management Officer of Infanta, Quezon.

ChildFund Philippines encourages more multi-sectoral collaborations with corporate institutions, non-government organizations, and other stakeholders to expand Project GREENLIGHT's implementation to other communities across other parts of the country.

PHL lists first PhD holder in Measurement Science

Wazzup Pilipinas!?

Dr. Maryness I. Salazar (inset), head of the Pressure and Force Standards Section at the National Metrology Division of the Industrial Technology Development Institute (DOST-ITDI), leads the country in maintaining a community guided by the science of measurement.

The Philippines lists its first doctorate holder in Measurement Science.

Dr. Maryness I. Salazar, Supervising Science Research Specialist and Head of the Pressure and Force Standards Section at the National Metrology Division of the Industrial Technology Development Institute (DOST-ITDI), leads the country in maintaining a community guided by the science of measurement.

The new doctor explains that “In a measureless world, there can be no science for in a world in which no measurement tools exist, there can neither be modern medicine, healthcare, surgery, pharmacology, radiology, dentistry, optometry, and audiology, nor manufacturing, transportation or communication. Everything that provides for people to live relies on Measurement Science.” Dr. Salazar's academic feat will go down in the country's history as a first not only in Measurement Science but also for women doctors of philosophy in the field.

According to a report by Science Education International, a quarterly journal of the International Council of Associations for Science Education (ICASE), global science research is currently male-dominated, with 3.8 million male researchers as compared to 2 million female researchers.

Hence, Dr. Salazar has accomplished twin peaks of professional and personal achievements.

Maryness, or Nhet, as friends call her, graduated in February 2024 with a doctorate in Measurement Science from the University of Science and Technology (UST) in South Korea. She received her Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics from the University of the Philippines Los Baños and her Master of Science in Measurement Science from UST in South Korea.

Her doctoral study, "Exploring a New Capillary-Type Standard Leak Using Polymicro Tube for Leak Measurement and Microflow Applications,” aims to improve accuracy, efficiency, and reliability in leak measurement and microflow control across multiple industries.

Dr. Nhet explains, "Leak detection prevents significant damage in equipment and devices from occurring, which can lead to substantial financial losses in manufacturing and or loss of lives in health care industries."

She added, "It is crucial not only to prevent extensive property damage but also to address several other potential problems that may arise from it." As DOST-ITDI celebrates Dr. Nhet’s success, it not only applauds her academic achievement but also recognizes the collective strides of women toward closing the gender gap in science research. Her journey serves as a reminder that breaching the gender gap in the pursuit of knowledge is attainable. (MVAtienza; AMGuevarra\\TSD)

SUDAN: Bomb puts El Fasher pediatric hospital out of action amid intense escalation in fighting between SAF and RSF

Wazzup Pilipinas!?

Two children killed – Doctors Without Borders urges warring parties to ensure protection of civilians and health structures.

On the evening of Saturday 11 May, an airstrike carried out by the SAF landed 50 meters from Babiker Nahar Paediatric Hospital, which is supported by Doctors Without Borders / Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), in El Fasher, North Darfur. This led to the collapse of the roof above the intensive care unit (ICU) and the death of two children who remained receiving treatment there, as well as the death of at least one caregiver. This hospital was one of the few specializing in the treatment of sick children that had managed to remain operational since the start of the war. It received referrals from across the Darfur region because so many others had been forced to close.

Now, one additional health facility has been put out of action.

Saturday’s incident came after heavy fighting between the RSF and SAF/Joint Forces in North Darfur on Friday 10 May, when 160 wounded people – including 31 women and 19 children – arrived at the Doctors Without Borders-supported South Hospital in El Fasher. 25 of these wounded were in a terminal condition upon arrival and passed away. Friday’s fighting took place close to Babiker Nahar, and led to almost all patients fleeing in search of safety – many arrived at South Hospital. Of the 115 children receiving treatment in Babiker Nahar, 10 remained on Saturday when the bomb dropped – including the two children who were killed. Currently, the hospital is closed.

Doctors Without Borders is making an urgent call to all warring parties to protect civilians and ensure the protection of health structures, as they are obligated to do under International Humanitarian Law, and the Jeddah declaration – signed exactly one year ago on the day that the hospital was damaged and the children and caregiver were killed.

Michel-Olivier Lacharité, head of Doctors Without Borders emergency operations, said:

“Two children who were receiving treatment in our intensive care unit at the pediatric hospital, as well as one care giver, have been killed as a result of collateral damage following an airstrike by the Sudanese Armed Forces. 115 children were receiving treatment in this hospital – now no one is. Already, there was far too little health care available in Sudan due to the conflict. The original pediatric hospital was looted at the start of the war. The children were evacuated to a small health clinic that we rehabilitated and expanded in May and June last year. Upgrading a small health clinic into a functioning hospital is not an easy task – especially during an active conflict. It was one of the very few children’s hospitals remaining in the whole Darfur region. We received referrals from across Darfur because of the lack of facilities elsewhere. Now we are one additional hospital down, just as we were trying to scale-up our response in El Fasher and Zamzam camp in response to the catastrophic malnutrition crisis there.

“The 115 children in the hospital were receiving treatment for conditions such as malaria, pneumonia, diarrhea and malnutrition. Now, many are receiving no treatment at all. The children who were killed were in a critical condition in our ICU, but their lives could have been saved. This must not happen again. We remind the warring parties with the utmost gravity that hospitals and health facilities must not be targeted, or become collateral damage in a conflict. We also urge them to ensure that they protect civilians – something they completely failed to do this weekend. As well as the two children and the care giver, 25 people wounded in the fighting who arrived at South Hospital on Friday were in a terminal condition and it was not possible to save their lives.”

SSS pushes for social security protection of seafarers

Wazzup Pilipinas!?

The Social Security System (SSS) on Friday assured the social security coverage of all Filipino seafarers and maritime professionals as labor groups, manning agencies, ship owners, and government agencies formed the Maritime Industry Tripartite Council (MITC) during a pact signing ceremony in Intramuros, Manila.
SSS President and Chief Executive Officer Rolando Ledesma Macasaet emphasized the collective effort as SSS joined as one of the members of the newly created Maritime Industry Tripartite Council, representing the government sector.

Macasaet lauded the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) led by its newly appointed Secretary, Hans Leo J. Cacdac, for spearheading the creation of the Council.

Macasaet stressed that the Council was a testament to the unified commitment to address maritime employment concerns and advance the protection of Filipino seafarers.

“With this agreement, SSS commits itself to promoting the welfare of Filipino seafarers and their families by providing them with financial assistance during contingencies such as disability, sickness, maternity, unemployment, old age, funeral and death,” Macasaet said.

Macasaet urged all Filipino seafarers to become SSS members, underlining the significant benefits of having social security protection for themselves and their families, which is a crucial step towards ensuring a secure future.

Records showed that around 350,000 seafarers are members of SSS.

SSS benefits for seafarers
Macasaet told seafarers to strive to pay at least 120 monthly SSS contributions so they can receive a lifetime monthly pension once they have retired.

“Contributing to the SSS is one way of investing in their future. Aside from retirement benefits, employed SSS members like seafarers are entitled to sickness, maternity, disability, unemployment, funeral, and death benefits,” he said.

Macasaet added that they can also take advantage of various SSS loan programs, such as salary and calamity, and get additional coverage from the Employees’ Compensation (EC) Program for work-related sickness or injury resulting to disability, or death.

“Since seafarers are contributing to the regular SSS program with a Monthly Salary Credit (MSC) that exceeds P20,000, they are automatically enrolled in the Workers’ Investment and Savings Program (WISP),” he said.

Under this compulsory provident fund scheme, he said each contributing member will have an account wherein SSS will place their contributions and investment earnings. Members pay their WISP contributions together with their regular SSS contributions.

He added that seafarers would get their total contributions and investment income at the time of their retirement, which they may opt to receive as a monthly annuity if their WISP savings exceed P100,000.

“Seafarers can receive it as a lump sum if their contributions and investment income are less than P100,000. If it is P100,000 or more, they can receive it as combination of lump sum and monthly pension or a fixed monthly annuity which will be released together with their regular monthly pension,” he said.

Likewise, Macasaet urged seafarers to consider their financial future and save their hard-earned money in WISP Plus, the SSS voluntary retirement savings program. He highlighted this as an additional benefit, giving seafarers the power to choose and plan for their retirement, in addition to the retirement pension from the regular social security program and annuity from the WISP.

Macasaet explained that members can contribute as little as P500 per payment whenever they want to receive this additional layer of social security protection.

He noted the members’ pooled contributions under WISP Plus would generate investment earnings, which would be credited to their individual accounts tax-free.

Food Preservation Techniques – A Discovery Moment at Sheraton Manila Bay

Wazzup Pilipinas!?

Step into Sheraton Manila Bay and be transported back in time to rediscover our local food preservation techniques. Three hundred years ago, Filipino cuisine looked quite different from what we enjoy today. Dishes like adobo existed back then but were known by a different name—adobado, meaning to marinate. Our food reflects how our culture has evolved over time. This coming May 23, Sheraton Manila Bay sets the scene and takes us hundreds of years back to an immersive experience of the rich tapestry of Filipino culinary heritage and traditional preservation methods, specifically discovering dishes from Southern Tagalog, Pampanga, Zamboanga, and Cordillera.

We will explore traditional alcoholic Filipino drinks such as Lambanog (local distilled palm liquor) and Basi (native Ilocano fermented liquor). In partnership with Limtuaco Distillery, renowned for its exquisite spirits, Sheraton Manila Bay will first take guests on a journey through artisanal cocktails as Distillery Limtuaco gives a brief explanation of what these two unique ingredients are and what cocktails can be made with these liquors as their base.

At the heart of this event lies a celebration of heirloom food preservation techniques from diverse regions, each contributing unique dishes that encapsulate centuries of culinary tradition. Imagine savoring the delicate flavors of "Pinais na Sugpo," featuring fresh prawns and young coconut enveloped in pechay and banana leaves, slowly cooked in coconut water and creamy coconut cream. This dish, hailing from Southern Tagalog, embodies the art of wrapping ingredients in natural materials to seal in flavors.

From the coastal kitchens of Zamboanga emerges "Bacalao in Saffron Ravioli," showcasing dried salted cod, olive oil, heirloom tomatoes, and locally sourced Malagos Ricotta cheese, all encased in homemade pasta. It's a fusion of Spanish and Filipino influences, reflecting the region's rich culinary history. Venturing into the highlands of Cordillera, guests will be treated to a unique twist on a Filipino classic with "Sinigang Pork Etag Burrito," where smoky pork belly meets Ifugao mountain rice, wrapped in warm flatbread—a comforting blend of textures and flavors.

Pampanga's culinary legacy shines through "Pindang Damulag," a dish featuring tender beef preserved in a flavorful marinade, served with moringa nachos and Davao's chevre-style cheese, creating a symphony of tastes that pay homage to local ingredients. And what Filipino culinary experience would be complete without a sweet finale? Indulge in "Halo-Halo de lloco," a delightful concoction of carabao milk, Bacnotan honey, cassava, saba banana, ube kamoteng kahoy, and young coconut—a true celebration of tropical flavors. The evening will be accompanied by an array of handcrafted cocktails, featuring indigenous spirits like Lambanog and Basi, creatively blended with local fruits and herbs. From the refreshing "Basi Spritz" to the intriguing "Nightcap" combining Basi, Liqueur de Cacao, and espresso, each cocktail is a tribute to Filipino craftsmanship.

Alongside Limtuaco Distillery, guests will also have the chance to sample and purchase products from La Comida Goa, our local partner. They have prepared products such as canned Laing, Bicol Express, and Sinantolan. Inspired by the love and cravings for local food, coupled with the desire to support and uplift the lives of people in Camarines Sur, La Comida Goa’s mission is to promote Bicolano culture through food that reminds them of home.

Filmmaker-prof named Bacolod filmfest director

Wazzup Pilipinas!

An award-winning filmmaker and longtime educator has been recently appointed by the Bacolod City Government as director of its film festival, set to be held this September in select cinemas in the city.

The Bacolod Film Festival Council (BFFC), chaired by Mayor Alfredo “Albee” Benitez with Councilor Em L. Ang as co-chairperson, has designated Seymour B. Sanchez as filmfest director, as per Section 7 of City Ordinance 1061-2024.

Sanchez was recommended by legal consultant and film producer Atty. Josabeth “Joji” V. Alonso to the BFFC as “the best person to oversee and manage the festival.”

C.O. 1061-2024, also known as the Bacolod Film Festival Ordinance, is authored by Councilor Ang, chairperson of the Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) Committee on History, Culture and Arts, with councilors Cindy Rojas and Celia Flor as co-authors.

The Bacolod Film Festival Ordinance also provides for ten (10) filmmakers, whether producers, directors, or writers, who are bona fide residents of Bacolod City, to be given production grants worth 300,000 pesos each. Councilor Ang clarified the filmmakers do not need to shoot their entire film in the city.

Sanchez signed the memorandum of agreement with the BFFC at the office of Councilor Ang last May 3. The SP, with Vice Mayor El Cid M. Familiaran as presiding officer, has confirmed the appointment of Sanchez during its 96th Regular Session on the same day.

Apart from being an educator, who is now on his 20th year of teaching, Sanchez also served as head of publicity and promotions of the Cinemanila International Film Festival from 2004 to 2007, under the late filmmaker Amable “Direk Tikoy” Aguiluz VI, and filmfest director of the One La Salle Film Festival in 2018, under the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde film department headed by Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) chairperson and CEO Jose “Direk Joey” Reyes.

He has also been a judge and speaker in other competitions, including the National Schools Press Conference, National Training of Trainers on Campus Journalism, Planting Seeds Workshops on Filmmaking, and SanayGuro Trainors’ Training.

His short film “Caretaker” won second prize in the short fiction category of the sixth CAM International Festival for Short Films in Cairo, Egypt, the Golden Philippine Eagle award and Best Actor for Rolando Inocencio in the third Singkuwento International Film Festival, and the Audience Choice Award in the Active Vista International Human Rights Film Festival. He was given the Film Ambassador Award by the FDCP for his “creativity and the global achievement of the film.” He also received the Maningning Outstanding Direction for the same film in the CineSB Film Festival: Special Edition. A shorter version of the film entitled “Katiwala” won the People’s Choice Award in the 2018 Freedom Mov_E Film Festival.

His first short film “Lababo” (Kitchen Sink) topped the 2007 Viva-Pinoy Box Office Digitales. His other film “Pagbugtaw” (Waking Up) bagged second place in the First Pambujan Pelikula Para sa Publiko National Short Film Festival and Competition. Another film “Shorts” won third prize in the Viva-PBO Digitales 2. His documentary “Sinulog for Beginners” placed second in the 2006 Sinulog Video Documentary Competition. Unauthorised Banksy art to run soon at the Metropolitan Museum of Manila

Wazzup Pilipinas!?

Here's a glimpse of Banksy Universe Manila 2024, which will be open to the public starting May 14 at the Metropolitan Museum of Manila in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

The immersive experience traces the works of the famously anonymous street artist Banksy in Bristol, London, Los Angeles, and New York City.

While it is not authorized by Banksy, the exhibit aims to bring people closer to his art, which is known for tackling social and political issues.

Tuloy pa rin pala to?

Internet, do your thing. Banksy’s legal team may be interested.

"the exhibit aims to bring people closer to his art," But why would you do that? Did Banksy ask you to do that? Banksy creates art not to be close to his art but rather to issues such as taking things without the permission of the owner.

Nothing says "bringing people closer to art (and art that's supposedly known for tackling social and political issues, at that)" better than *checks notes* a 550 peso entrance fee.

lmao bring people closer to banksy's art pero charge an entrance fee to an unauthorized, unsanctioned show.

The most un-Banksy thing you can do is to curate and put Banksy art in an elitist exhibit for 550 a pop.

The multiple disconnects with banksy and his art hahaha

This event, the venue, the people behind this awful charade is the opposite of everything Banksy

Ang weirddddd talaga !!!

Being exactly what the artist is fighting against.

Unabashedly displaying it, too.

"While it is not authorized by Banksy," THIS ALONE should discourage you from seeing this FAKERY.

"We're displaying some artist work without his permission while making money from this unethical gig of ours"

Pera pera Lang hahahahaha

Unauthorised by Bansky but the Metropolitan Museum of Manila boasts its objective is to bring people closer to Bansky's art FOR A FEE.

Banksy is known for his social realist, social satire, anti-establishment, anti-commercialism, anti-capitalist street art.

Banksy’s reps have said they have nothing to do with this exhibition. But it does not mean illegal. Most museums all over the world are showing works without permission from artists.

If you really want to bring people closer to art, remove the entrance fee. Otherwise, we’ll just browse the Internet.

Bawal ang graffiti sa bgc pero pag banksy pwede and the best part? hindi ito authorized. It's effin confusing!

If Banksy were dead, he would be rolling in his grave.

Only the lame and tame socio-political topics .  A people's art is more subversive than that, BGC. It should move people to critical thinking about their situation.  Another capitalist move appropriating radical art to gain profit from it .

How could a respectable institution like the MET promote and create an unauthorize exhibit?  Furthermore, why promote Bansky in the first place?  They want the be relevant and attract a young market?

Bansky HATES his artwork being used or sold at all. That’s why he does it on public places since no one gets to own it, but people like the metropolitan museum of manila takes advantage of this by asking for an entrance fee. Wtf!!!

So you PAY to view a PIRATED COPY of Banksy’s work?

Meh. Reminds me of an elite who freely destroyed a wall to procure(steal) Banksy's art just to sell it for millions.

Did you forget about the Banksy auction where he tried to destroy his own artwork? He hates it.

This is clear plagiarism, and I hope someone gets the full extent of the law.

Come to my house on May 14 in North Caloocan.

I will recreate Banksy’s works on my walls. Im not authorized but I plan to bring you closer to Banksy’s art.

Only 50 Pesos Entrance fee. It comes with Beer and Barbecue.

This is what it is. Imagine major publications promoting this instead of calling out this unauthorized money grab.

Excited for the people who will come to this exhibit not knowing who "Bangs-Ki" is, at magpipichur-pichur lang for the 'gram, ma-scratch lang ang FOMO itch.
