This year, Wazzup Pilipinas is going all-out in spreading holiday cheer across the Philippines. True to its mission as the most credible community platform and trusted media source, Wazzup Pilipinas is launching "Paskong Wazzup Pilipinas: Shout-outs of Creativity and Inspirations." The campaign features local traditions, inspiring stories, and heartwarming moments that highlight Filipino creativity and festivity during the Christmas season.

As part of its Christmas initiatives, Wazzup Pilipinas will showcase uplifting content from communities nationwide—covering festivals, local Christmas bazaars, and charity drives that embody the true essence of Filipino generosity.

Interactive Experiences and Local Highlights

To encourage Filipinos to immerse themselves in the season’s spirit, Wazzup Pilipinas is also launching “Pasko Shout-outs”—an online campaign powered by innovative content creators  that pinpoints the most vibrant and inspirational stories across the Philippines. From community outreaches to must-visit destinations in Mindanao, Wazzup Pilipinas serves as your reference for inspirational experiences.

Additionally, select cities and towns will be open to be featured, especially  theircommunity-driven initiatives that we shall call us “Wazzup Pilipinas Shout-outs,” where storytelling, cultural exhibits, and festive performances bring smiles and meaningful engagement to families.

Ross Del Rosario emphasized, “Through our platform, we aim to celebrate and amplify the stories that will inspire Filipinos making them more connected, involved and working together especially during this special time of the year—highlighting our shared values  creativity, community involvement and bayanihan.”

A Special Day of Celebration with Fellow Content Creators and Influencers 

In a special kick-off event called the Umalohokan Fest Year-end Meet-up and Christmas Party held in Pasay City at the World Trade Center Manila on December 14, 2024, Wazzup Pilipinas gathered distinguished entrepreneurs, media partners, content creators and also included the "bazaaristas" both Bazaar attendees and vendors / exhibitors of the World Bazaar Festival, for a day of festivities at the main stage of the event at the World Trade Center and the booths of Wazzup Pilipinas and Ganda Negosyo in cooperation with Red Cloud Interactive and Worldbex Services International together with select partners and sponsors. 

With lots of games and raffle prizes, plus lots of freebies, given to everyone, both from the stage and at the booths, the celebration extended until the 22nd of December. The celebration gives thanks to our fellow content creators and influencers, as well as supporters and followers, highlights inspiring stories of creativity, underscoring Wazzup Pilipinas’ role as a platform for inspiration and positive impact.

The event featured key partners and creators who shared their personal Christmas stories, alongside traditional performances and a showcase of Filipino holiday treats.

This is the fourth run of the Umalohokan that were all dedicated to promoting or advocating for responsible content creation for all.
