Come and join us as we pay homage to our National Flag in our monthly flag-raising ceremony at the Independence Flagpole, Rizal Park Luneta. See you on 04 September 2023, 8:00 a.m. The program is open to the public.

On the next #StopandSalute Flag Ceremony, we commemorate the 125th birth anniversary of Josefa Llanes Escoda, founder of the GIRL SCOUTS OF THE PHILIPPINES and one of our country’s national heroes. Escoda offered aid to prisoners of war during World War II and was executed by the Japanese forces. The program will also recognize our civil servants and Girl Scout honorees.

The monthly Stop and Salute Flag Raising Ceremony is a project of the NPDC and Department of Tourism - Philippines in partnership with the Salute To A Clean Flag, the National Historical Commission of the Philippines, the Armed Forces of the Philippines, and other government and private organizations.
