Wazzup Pilipinas!?
Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) is opening its first batch of hyflex theater classes (combination of face-to-face and online) from September 10-October 16, 2022.
PETA has always been known for its welcoming atmosphere for both newcomers and more seasoned artists, and its upcoming cycle of the “Workshop Weekends” is no different. PETA invites theater enthusiasts, budding and experienced performers, and creatives-at-heart, to pursue their passion through its various offerings:
Theater Arts: An artistic experience for beginners! Theater Arts teaches fundamental knowledge, skills and attitudes in theater acting, dramatic improvisation and theater production craft.
Creative Musical Theater: A course designed to develop one’s musicality through song interpretation and storytelling. Creative Musical Theater has sessions on voice, composition, performance and various music explorations.
Basic Acting: This course is recommended for those who want to level up their skills, experience and performance. In Basic Acting, students' acting tools will be further enhanced by exploring different acting styles and principles.
“Workshop Weekends” face-to-face sessions will be held at the PETA Theater Center, New Manila, Quezon City, and all online classes will be via Zoom.
