Mcdonalds Philippines launched their NEW MENU. The K-Chicken and K-Beef burgers, Strawberry Banana Sundae and Honey Butter Fries.
Does making the buns black, among others, change the taste? What else is new?
Ano ginamit to make it black? Squid ink? Or just black food coloring?
"So I tried the new Korean Chicken Burger from Mcdo and my verdict is...
Keri lang haha I mean the color made it kinda different pero it tasted like your average chicken burger hehe."
Taste like ordinary chicken burger? The expectation is still high, especially when you see the ad and the visual menu but the reality still is underwhelming.
Chicken is a bit better. Juicy in fairness! I don't like the beef, it tastes like Sausage Egg Mcmuffin. And yes it is messy because of the sauce. I don't recommend it ordering via food delivery, wasak na yan pagdating lol haha.. It's not the best, but we now have another option aside from their McChicken.
Para sa mga curious sa lasa nito, yung Korean chicken burger is chicken fillet na nakacoat ng samjang with kimchi and veggies.
The K-Beef and K-Chicken Burgers' only difference is the beef had a fried egg, but both have the same sauce and garnishing (I never noticed the cheese), including the black buns with sesame seeds that made it look appealing. Though the chicken was thicker compared to the beef, but the egg made them worth the same amount of P160. Take out the special sauce, waley na lasa...bland na.
Yung honey butter flavored fries lang nagustuhan ko. I ordered the family size that costs P149. Who doesn't love newly cooked french fries regardless of its flavor?
I always love fries naman kahit crispy or soggy na. The two sachet of Honey Butter flavored powders were just right for the family size fries that I ordered. Taste was acceptable, and will considering ordering it again.
Same with the strawberry banana sundae (P35), I can substitute it for the chocolate or caramel flavored syrups.
