Israel has vaccinated its way out of a coronavirus nightmare

Can you still imagine a world without face masks? Well, it’s happening again in Israel. 

Israel just did what most of the world can only dream of: drop masks and fully reopen schools.

 

Buoyed by its recent success in combating the coronavirus, Israel lifted its outdoor mask mandate Sunday, while schools fully reopened for the first time since September.

Face masks are no longer mandatory in the latest return to relative normality, boosted by a mass-vaccination campaign against the coronavirus disease.

Israel's case tallies fell from 10,000 daily infections to about 200 per day, and over half of the population (around 80 percent) have been fully vaccinated.

Meanwhile in the Philippines, we still can't do mass testing. Vaccines are still on its way and not enough for even herd immunity.

Sana all talaga! Philippines, mga when?

Our goverment is not up for the challenge of managing the pandemic. We might go back to normal in 5 to 10 years tops. Thats 2031!

Sana ma-experience na rin ng Pilipinas yan pero mukhang malayo pa. Matagal pa election eh. Mukhang doon lang sila magsisimulang gagalaw.

Nakaka-inggit ang gobyernong may malasakit at nagpa-function ng mabuti.

If you're going to use population as an argument, just remember that Vietnam has a population of 98 Million, yet they have fewer cases than Israel.

16M silang mga DDS,  and are considered "majority" which means sila din ang malamang may kasalanan bakit tumataas ang bilang ng covid. Biruin mo, sila na nakapwesto hindi pa nila maayos ang bansa.

The government and unelected bureaucrats never even had the power to enforce these mask mandates in the first place. Our freedom is inherently God-given, and shouldn't be taken away in exchange for a false sense of security. 

Israel is the first country to declare itself covid-19 free.

Mass vaccinations done. 

Reopens schools completely.

Lifts public mask mandate.

If Israel can do it why can't we?
