Fashion Week Brooklyn is one of the top 10 independent fashion weeks not sponsored by Mercedes-Benz in New York but yet it stands on its own.
Due to the current situation because of the worldwide pandemic. Live fashion shows and other events will not yet happen and because of that, for the very first time Fashion Week Brooklyn- FWBK will collaborate with us to do a virtual fashion show that will be shown in all digital platforms worldwide. With the initiative of Bench M Bello - the International Relation Officer of FWBK who made this event possible to happen. This is the first time in the fashion event to come up with this kind of virtual show. We call it Fashion Week Brooklyn - Manila which will simultaneously be shown in New York, Manila, Russia and other parts of the world.
It is scheduled on October 11-18, 2020. The fashion show in Manila will showcase John Guarnes Sporty Fashionable PPE Suits. Which he believes, the new normal in fashion. Sporty and fashionable PPE SUIT is made of microfibre- water resistant that is used as a protective garment against Covid19. He made this collection so the wearer will be protected yet fashionable in a sense that they don't look like an astronaut and don't look like a hospital suit. It's a sporty suit that can be worn for work out and a fashionable PPE suit that can be worn for work.
It will also be the launching of brands--the first will be B'Wear by Bench M Bello which will showcase his athleisure collection and suits for men together with his hand crafted accessories for NUDA Philippines.
The brooch accessories for men suits will be provided by "Mr Broochman" by Ben Jandoc. Another new brand to showcase will be Kitty Kynis - the lingerie collection of Kitty Doll. Jeanette Marco of Marco not Polo will also showcase her fabric hand painted collection. Accessories for ladies by NUDA Philippines by ATSG will be provided as well. The show will be participated by the Elite Ladies of the Philippines, Queen of Hearts, Beauty Queens, Professional Models, International Models and Celebrities.
This event is a fashion for a cause because they wanted to support the people in the fashion and events industry that had been affected by the current situation especially the photographers, videographers, models, HMUA and the people behind the production. Supported by Goldenpine Enterprises Corp, Bless Amare Cafe and Dra. Risa Caldoza.
