NYC Chairperson Ryan Enriquez and His Controversial Billboard
Wazzup Pilipinas!
National Youth Commission Chairperson Ryan Enriquez on a billboard along Marcos Highway. The billboard, showing his face along a few basic health protocols, drew flak online for its “inappropriateness.”
Enriquez clarified that he paid for the ad out of his own pocket.
COA in its 2019 report released August 24, slams the National Youth Commission (NYC) for incurring huge expenses – from trainings in 5-star hotels to pricey Filipiniana costumes – despite having little to show for it in terms of project performance.
And now this:
A billboard lease in EDSA for example can cost your company somewhere in the vicinity of P300,000.00 to P500,000.00 per month. A 30-second TV commercial costs around P500,000.00 to P800,000.00 and a small image ad in a local newspaper would be somewhere around P20,000.00 to P50,000.00.
Lol he's definitely running in the next elections. If he is running for higher office I will not vote for him.
“So young yet so corrupt!”- bata pa lang, bulok na ang klase ng pamumuno.
It's too obvious he's using the billboard to promote himself which obviously manifests that he has future political ambitions.
A billboard that predominantly features the "face" rather than the actual message the agency was "trying" to convey while young people continue to be victims of mass layoffs and experience struggles in online classes. Kapal!
I'm squinting my eyes because of the small texts of the basic health protocols but mainly on the big *ss face of the nyc usec with the big *ss bold letter of his name. Yeah, wipe it, we got the message that you are a trapo.
You can't even see the basic health protocols reminders , all i see he’s face that has nothing to do with the reminders, do we really need his face bigger than the reminders, pasok mga DDS.
Early campaign moves. Mas malaki pa yung mukha niya kaysa sa covid precautionary measures. EPAL!
Image projection is obviously the primary intention. and the reminders on safety and health protocols referenced to the Covid-19 pandemic is merely being used as instrument. He is so young, yet so brazenly corrupt already.
This guy still doesn't know what true leadership is all about. Its not about you, its about the people you're supposed to serve...
Weird way to announce/show to the people WHO NOT TO VOTE FOR NEXT ELECTION!
We see you're following Bong's style of having his face plastered in big ads! Welcome NYC to the big leagues! Next ka na maapoint sa mga big financial institutions kasi you have the courage to be yourself. To continue the Filipino politician tradition of getting away for corruption. Congrats in advance!
The government is the corrupt's ticket to living luxuriously at the expense of taxpayers' money... COA could only report but could not retrieve or force them to give back the over expenses including those going into the deep pockets of these crooks. Thick-faced & morally downright SOB's!
Enriquezs claims the funds to create this billboard came from his own pocket? Would you believe him?
LOOK: The controversial billboard on COVID-19 protective measures bearing the face of National Youth Commission chairperson Ryan Enriquez was taken down after the official faced backlash online.
“Ang objective ko lang naman ay makatulong para sa information dissemination, lalo na ngayon nabawasan ang major network na nagbabalita. Ang pagkakamali ko, anlaki ng mukha ko, pasensya na,” he says.
"Tinanggal na ang nasabing billboard para sa kapayapaan ng lahat, salamat at pasensya na," he adds.
