SMM Strategy for Legal Startup

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Any startup today needs social media for growth and expansion. Social media marketing is almost becoming mandatory for any business that wants to excel. You definitely need this for all legal start-ups. Social media has become a very essential avenue of reaching to prospective clients. There are very many outfits making use of this strategy and therefore, it is not just enough to get started with it.

The help of a law essay writing service could be very useful in realizing all that goes into the successful launching and use of an SMM strategy. Your approach should be in such a way to add value to your marketing efforts even as you consider applying it.

Common Mistakes to Avoid
Getting started with a business is usually challenging, particularly if you are looking forward to having a social media presence. People make the mistake of not having a clear social media approach. Social media should be at the very centre of your marketing options and not just an option among others. Secondly, start-ups make the mistake of not knowing what to do. If you do the wrong thing online, you can easily damage your reputation instead of building it.

Things to do in an SMM Strategy
To succeed in what you want to embark on, you must decide where your focus is on your social efforts.

Here is what to do:

Have a marketing plan in place taking into consideration the social media aspect. Come up with objectives and goals that you want to achieve especially in creating brand awareness and social media. This is where you decide on where to focus all of your efforts in social media marketing.

What aspects are you looking at? Is it about getting likes and follows? Have metrics to assess how your startup is performing online. Different social strategies have different metrics: leads generated, site traffic, revenue generated, sign-ups and so on.

Procedure to follow
To enhance efficiency in what you are doing, the plan should always come before having your social media profiles. Once all this is set here is what to do:

Choose the social networks to use for the strategy

Recruit team members  to help out in your online marketing efforts

Establish an online community as ambassadors for your brand

Come up with ways of tracking your startup performance.

Final Thoughts
It is advisable for legal startups to embrace SMM strategies owing to their usefulness in making them grow. All the same, the right measures should be put in place in order to gain the full benefits of employing such a strategy.

No More Detours: Kevin Belingon's Sights Firmly Set on Bibiano Fernandes and the ONE Bantamweight World Championship

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Six years since his ONE Championship debut, Team Lakay’s Kevin ‘The Silencer’ Belingon is finally a World Champion in the martial arts promotion.

At ONE: REIGN OF KINGS last 27 July, in front of a partisan pro-Philippines crowd at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, Belingon defeated reigning ONE Featherweight and Lightweight World Champion Martin ‘The Situ-Asian’ Nguyen to capture the ONE Interim Bantamweight World Championship.

For Belingon, it was a childhood dream come true.

“I can’t explain this feeling. I’m the happiest athlete tonight,” Belingon said during the post-match interview. “Thank you to all the people who came out to support me, and of course to ONE Championship, my team, my coaches and trainers, and my teammates,”

With the win, Belingon becomes the fifth Filipino to capture ONE World Championship gold, as he joins reigning ONE Heavyweight World Champion Brandon ‘The Truth’ Vera, as well as Team Lakay stablemates in reigning ONE Flyweight World Champion Geje ‘Gravity’ Eustaquio, former ONE Lightweight World Champion Eduard ‘Landslide’ Folayang, and former ONE Featherweight World Champion Honorio ‘The Rock’ Banario.

And while making history as a world champion is indeed a prestigious feat, even more important for Belingon is that he’s finally secured his spot as the next person to challenge reigning ONE Bantamweight World Champion Bibiano ‘The Flash’ Fernandes.

Fernandes is currently recovering from an injury, and when the most dominant champion in ONE Championship history finally returns, Belingon will be right there, waiting for his rematch.

“I respect [Bibiano] as a champion, but we are in the same weight class, and I am the top contender, so there is no escape in facing me. I hope you recover fast, and that we can make the fight this year.” Belingon said.

Belingon and Fernandes first shared the cage back in January of 2016 at ONE: DYNASTY OF CHAMPIONS, in Changsha, China, with Fernandes retaining the title via a first-round submission win.

The loss did nothing but fuel Belingon’s world championship dreams even more, and the road back to the championship picture was a long one for the 30-year old, who had to run through a gauntlet of former world title contenders and a two-division champion in a just under two years.

Currently riding six straight victories dating back to October of 2016, Belingon has taken out the likes of Toni Tauru, Reece ‘Lightning’ McLaren, Andrew Leone, and Nguyen, pretty much a who’s-who in ONE Championship’s bantamweight division.

“I have faced many tough opponents leading up to this interim title, and I believe I have earned my spot to face Bibiano again,” Belingon said in an interview with ONE Championship’s official website (ONEFC.com).

Now, the Baguio City native has his sights firmly set on Fernandes and the ONE Bantamweight World Championship. Nothing else, no one else.

“I am looking forward to our rematch. No more detours. Bibiano should be next, and I fully expect to be facing him soon.”

Surely, ‘soon’ can’t fast enough for Belingon, but the reality is that he’ll have to wait for Fernandes to be cleared to compete.

In the meantime however, the newly-crowned interim champion could use some time off as well, to heal up before getting back to business.

He is, after all, coming off a tough five-round main event.

“Right now, I am just focused on resting and healing my body. I am pretty banged up. My ankle and shin are bruised, and they need time to recover,” Belingon said.

“Once everything is good to go, then I will be back in training. But for now, I am going to enjoy the rest. It still has not sunk in that I am a World Champion.” He continued.

While indeed, the record books will show that Belingon has already held world championship gold, the Filipino star knows in himself that there’s still one more bit of work to be done, and that’s to avenge his loss to Fernandes and become the undisputed ONE Bantamweight World Champion.

“Until I beat Bibiano, [however], I will always feel like there is unfinished business to take care of.”

I-de-defund na ‘yan!: #ZeroBudgetPCOO Trends on Twitter

Wazzup Pilipinas!

#ZeroBudgetPCOO hit the number two spot on Twitter trends with netizens calling to defund the Presidential Communications Operations Office after another mishap.

The reaction came after Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson posted a live video of a game show which aimed to raise awareness on federalism. Asec. Uson posted on her Facebook page an episode of “Good News Game Show” with Drew Olivar, a fellow blogger, who danced at the start of the show to the chant of “Ipepe, ipepe, idede, idede, ipederalismo!”

“#ZeroBudgetPCOO becoming the top trending topics in Twitter last night only proves the fact that the PCOO has already lost its credibility in the eyes of the public.” Akbayan Youth leader Nathan Austria said.

Akbayan Youth filed a petition to remove Asec. Uson from her post last April 2, 2018 at the Office of the Ombudsman. The group filed their position paper last June after the Ombudsman found “sufficient cause for further proceedings.”

“Ang kakapal ng mukha! Nanghihingi pa ng mas mataas na budget na 1.41 billion samantalang yung ibang ahensya na may pakinabang ay pababa ng pababa” Austria added.

“People are sick and tired of their continuous errors and mishaps so it’s time to make them accountable at the PCOO budget hearing that will happen on August 16, 2018 in Congress” Austria ended

Peculiar Meal Leaves Big Smile on Srisaket Sor Rungvisai's Face

Wazzup Pilipinas!
WBC Super Flyweight World Champion Srisaket Sor Rungvisai may be the hardest puncher in today’s well-entrenched boxing scene of Thailand, but his angst inside the ring melts when his favorite food becomes the topic.
The often-overused proverb "The best way to a man's heart is through his stomach" is applicable to Rungvisai because he breaks into a wide smile when he sees his desired meal on his plate.
However, Rungvisai’s choice of comfort food might be too exotic to most because his satisfying set meal consists of grilled Bandicoot rat and fried pigeon, matched with spicy red ant eggs and sticky rice.
“It’s my favorite since I was a kid. It reminds me of my childhood. My parents always prepare these goodies every time they pick me up at the airport from a trip abroad for a fight or after the fight here in Thailand. It’s my victory meal,” he shared.
Grilled Bandicoot rat has become a popular delicacy in many provinces of Thailand, slowly turning into a lucrative industry due to its large demand and the income that it generates.
Meanwhile, red ant eggs are common food for people in Thailand’s northeastern area as it has been utilized as an ingredient in some authentic local dishes.
“Just the thought of my favorite meal makes me crave, but I need to hold myself back in favor of my upcoming bout,” he said in jest.
All of Rungvisai’s gastronomic delights would not be part of his very strict diet plan as he prepares for his third defense of the WBC Super Flyweight World Championship.
Rungvisai is set to make his debut in ONE Championship, a mixed martial arts organization that was established in 2011.
ONE Championship recently announced its partnership with Nakornloung Promotion (NKL) to co-promote the next title defense of Rungvisai.
Rungvisai puts his super flyweight crown on the line against Mexico’s Iran Diaz in the main event of ONE: KINGDOM OF HEROES, which takes place at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand on 6 October.
“I am excited to showcase my skills at home in Bangkok. As a world champion boxer, this is a rare opportunity for me to be able to defend my world title in front of my people. I thank ONE Championship for the honor, and I will do my best to retain my title,” he stated.
Rungvisai assured that food presently takes a backseat as he sets his sights on winning the scheduled 12-round championship clash with Diaz.
“I am very deep in preparations right now for one of the most significant bouts of my career. The possibilities with ONE Championship and NKL are endless. I’m looking forward to the next chapter of my career,” he ended.

Smorrebrod in Copenhagen, Denmark
When you’re in Copenhagen, there’s one thing you should hands-down try — the well-known smørrebrød. It’s a kind of open-faced sandwich with a lot of toppings usually piled so high that you don’t see the bread. In some places about 250 types of smørrebrød are served, but primarily the toppings are layered on the rye bread.

Lamudi Housing Fair Goes to Cebu

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Lamudi is bringing together property seekers and sellers in the Queen City of the South with the launch of the Cebu Housing Fair

All roads lead to Cebu as the Lamudi Housing Fair sets up at the Queen City of the South on September 8 and 9, 2018 at Ayala Center in Cebu City. Designed to bring property buyers and sellers together, this open-for-all housing fair will feature some of the biggest property brands of the country.

A first for Lamudi
Cebu’s economy has been displaying massive growth for years, driven mainly by tourism and the information technology and business process management (IT-BPM) industries. According to the Department of Tourism, Central Visayas saw the arrival of over 6.3 million local and foreign tourists in 2017, with Cebu being the top travel hub of the region. Also, the Cebu IT-BPM Organization estimated that Cebu had between 150,000 and 160,000 IT-BPO workers by the end of last year, and that the Cebu City government is targeting the generation of 200,000 jobs in the industry by next year.

The presence of multiple economic zones, where companies enjoy various business incentives, has been attracting major investors, particularly in the IT-BPM sector. Moreover, the recent opening of the new Mactan-Cebu International Airport is projected to increase tourist arrivals and business investments into the province.

Hence, according to Lamudi CEO and Managing Director Bhavna Suresh, the decision to hold the brand’s next housing fair in the province was an easy one to make. With all past housing fairs being hosted in Metro Manila, the Cebu leg of Lamudi’s housing fair series will be the first provincial event for the leading online property portal.

“The massive growth of Cebu City has prompted real estate developers to catch up and supply the much-needed residential, commercial, and retail spaces for home and business relocators. As we have witnessed so far, many of the most prominent names in the property industry have already made a mark in the province through various projects, from condos and subdivisions to townships and business parks,” Suresh explained.

“Lamudi believes that now is the best time to be the stage upon which buyers and sellers can interact and explore the opportunities presented by the flourishing Cebu real estate landscape,” she added.

What to expect
Aspiring new homeowners and real estate investors can look forward to completed and upcoming projects by Primehomes, Ortigas & Company, RFK Holdings, DMCI Homes, Aboitizland Inc., Primary Homes, Softouch Property Development Corp., Avida Land, Contempo Property Holdings, King Properties, and Priland Development Corporation, among others.

UnionBank and RCBC Savings Bank will also be present for buyers in need of home loan assistance to purchase a property.  Plus, the Land Registration Authority will be on hand to give attendees an update on the recent efforts of the agency in terms of protecting land owners.

Aside from being able to inquire directly about the properties on display, buyers can also take advantage of promos and discounts to be offered during the event.

In addition, real estate brokers attending the event will have the opportunity to market their brand and properties through on-the-spot registration to the website, where they can begin uploading their properties to be viewed by Lamudi’s online visitors. Real estate online sales training sessions will also be offered to brokers who are looking to increase lead generation and sales numbers.

“It is indeed an exciting undertaking for Lamudi, and one that we hope to carry out again in the coming years,” Suresh stated.

Join us for two days of property showcases, real estate auctions, and real estate online sales trainings sessions for real estate sales professionals at the Lamudi Housing Fair Cebu happening at the Ayala Center Cebu Exhibit Center on September 8-9, 2018 from 10AM to 10PM. For more information about one of the most exciting housing events of the year, visit the official website.

Blind Children ‘Walk with Dignity’ at Farmers Plaza

The Farmers Plaza on Saturday, August 4, hosted the White Cane Safety Day event, showing its commitment to welcome persons with disabilities (PWDs) in the mall and other properties of Araneta Center.

The White Cane Safety Day is a law-mandated celebration every August that aims to promote the well-being of the visually-impaired and raise awareness on their plight and rights. The event was attended by 150 visually-impaired children and their families.

“We celebrate White Cane Day because we want to create awareness especially for people who are using white canes, because most of the population do not know what a white cane is. Akala nila laruan. It is a tool used by the visually-impaired for mobility so that they can walk with dignity,” said Leo Lee, president of the Parent Advocates for Visually-Impaired Children (PAVIC), which spearheaded the activity.

Araneta Center officials also distributed white canes to select visually-impaired children and stressed the importance of helping PWD visitors around the Center.

“Our security is briefed every day to assist the PWDs, the blind especially. When our guards see them, they immediately assist them,” Ivy Naldeza, assistant property manager of the Farmers Plaza, said.

“It’s very important to raise awareness kasi ‘yung iba hindi nila talaga naiintindihan. We have to know the plight of these people, and when you know how they feel, you become eager to help them,” she added.

Araneta Center’s support for the White Cane cause is just one way of pushing for its corporate social responsibility projects. Last April, the iconic Smart Araneta Coliseum was decked with blue lights in support of the World Autism Awareness Day. Its frontliners are also undergoing regular disability sensitivity trainings.

Grab Philippines country head Brian Cu, himself a parent of a child with a hearing impairment, revealed the transport service’s special discount for PWDs.

All they have to do is send Grab Philippines an email with their PWD IDs and they will receive a special code that they can use to automatically receive discounts on their rides.

He said the transport sharing service has earmarked at least P10 million monthly for this program.

The event featured speeches from advocates of the blind, which highlighted the success of the visually-impaired despite their conditions.

Annette Nelmida, mother of blind twins Joshua and Jerome Nelmida, beamed with pride as her children are set to compete in the Asian Paratriathlon Championship in Legazpi City, Alaby this week.

“We hope to make the Philippines proud,” Annette said, before the crowd at the Farmers Plaza greeted her twins a happy birthday as they turned 18.

After the speeches, the visually-impaired children, their parents and some blindfolded guests were given a tour of the Farmers Plaza in a visual representation of what it is like to walk with dignity despite their condition.

The Value of Landscape Design

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Property values have been plummeting as the market flounders under the widespread financial crisis. Of course, property owners are anxious about this. Real estate professionals have, however, identified one of the ways by which the value of a property can be raised. This is by providing aesthetically pleasing lawn landscaping with excellent landscape design.

Of course, not every property owner is qualified to achieve this alone. It is still best to hire the services of a professional who has the required expertise in landscape design and lawn landscaping. Such expertise should, however, be balanced by cost effective services and environmental responsibility. It is not impossible to find such professional landscape management, design and lawn landscaping services in Wadhurst, UK.

Of course lawn landscaping services should include regular maintenance.

Of course lawn landscaping services should include regular maintenance. One of the main components of regular maintenance services is pest control Wolverhampton. Common pests such as white grubs, mole crickets and fungus should be completely eliminated and prevented from returning. For health and ecological considerations, it is crucial that inexpensive but environmentally safe solutions are used in pest control. The property owner should demand this from the chosen lawn landscaping maintenance service provider in Wadhurst, UK.

Environmental and health safety issues should also be taken into consideration on the issue of fertilizers. It is recognized that lawn fertilization is a necessary part of lawn landscaping maintenance. If the lawn is not properly fertilized it could develop unsightly brown discoloration of the grass.

Fertilization could also incorporate weed prevention. Once again, the property owner should require the lawn landscaping maintenance service provider in Wadhurst, UK to use only environmentally safe and preferably organic fertilizers and weed prevention solutions.

To be consistent in the area of environmental responsibility, the property owner should also choose a lawn landscaping maintenance service provider in Wadhurst, UK that uses a lawn watering system which supports water conservation.

It is inevitable, however, to incur some lawn damage due to various factors. Lawn landscaping maintenance services therefore include lawn repair as well.

Although grass seed is less expensive than grass sod for covering entire lawns, sodding can be cheaper and more convenient in repairing small areas. A small patch of grass sod can cost less than a bag of grass seed in Wadhurst, UK.

Skillful landscape design consultant
nt the development of lawn problems. For example, lawn landscaping should not include low areas that tend to pool and retain water while not receiving proper air circulation.

Such faulty designing cause some landscapes in Wadhurst, UK to harbour a variety of lawn diseases.

Heavy foot traffic across lawns likewise causes damage to the grass, particularly for the more fragile species. Instead of putting the lawn off limits to human traffic, foot paths that traverse through it could be incorporated into the landscape design. This will allow better enjoyment of the landscape design and lawn landscaping by both the property owner and welcome visitors in Wadhurst, UK.

Indeed, aesthetics must also serve a practical purpose. Landscape design should therefore also strive to use low maintenance landscaping elements such as gravel, shrubs and small trees to enhance lawns in Wadhurst, UK.

Since it has been proven that having an unkempt lawn is counterproductive in terms of preserving a property's market value while having beautiful lawn landscaping and landscape design can make it much more valuable, it is logically wise to invest in professional landscape design and lawn landscaping as well as regular maintenance services. Not only will the property owner in Wadhurst, UK have peace of mind with regard to financial matters but the enjoyment of the beautiful view will likewise bring a feeling of well being each and every day.

Faster Mobile Data Speeds Boost VisMin Load Sales

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Tacloban retailer Josephine Derwin says drivers in the Tacloban New Transport Terminal load up at her store so they can keep in touch with their families while on the road.

For long-haul drivers constantly away from home, a mobile phone is the only way to stay connected with family while on the road.

This means steady business for sari-sari store owner Josephine Derwin, who sells e-load at the Tacloban New Transport Terminal. Most of her customers are drivers, who are quick to avail of promos, such as UTP, GigaSurf 50 and AllOutSurf50.

Sales have further spiked, she said, following Smart network upgrades in the Visayas and Mindanao. The same was observed by Abby Pedrero, whose store customers are mostly gamers and avid social media users on the lookout for promos for online apps and mobile games.

Similarly Cyril Puzon Mejos reported quadruple income from “strong load sales” at her store in the popular resort island of Panglao in Bohol.

In Davao, load seller May Anne Veneroso noted that the network upgrade is what draws repeat customers. “Of course, they would buy from the fastest network,” she said.

Best technologies

Smart ramped up the roll-out of Long Term Evolution (LTE) and LTE-Advanced across the country, including key areas like Leyte and Bohol. LTE and LTE-A are the best technologies to bring fast, affordable and reliable mobile internet services to customers.

The Tacloban New Transport Terminal, Panglao island and Davao City are just a few of the areas in the Visayas and Mindanao enjoying the benefits of the recent network upgrades.

Internal tests around Tacloban and Ormoc have shown speeds ranging from 19 Mbps to 67 Mbps on LTE and LTE-A-capable devices, specifically in areas around RTR Plaza in Tacloban, Ormoc City Public Market, and Sabin Hotel in Ormoc. Speeds ranging from 20 Mbps to almost 100 Mbps were achieved in areas like Tagbilaran, Dauis and Baclayon in Bohol.

Clodualda Bibi of Ormoc, who has been able to provide for the family by selling load, is confident that with better signal in the area, business will further improve.

Fastest networks

PLDT is investing heavily in transforming its fixed and mobile networks to bring world-class connectivity nationwide. As a result, PLDT and Smart were recently cited for being the country’s fastest networks for Q1-Q2 2018, respectively, by Ookla®, the global leader in internet testing and analysis.

Ookla said Smart achieved a Speed ScoreTM of 14.98, with average download speeds of 17.25 Mbps and average upload speeds of 7.65 Mbps, based on 2,118,464 user-initiated tests taken with Speedtest® on LTE-capable devices in the Philippines for Q1-Q2.

PLDT achieved a Speed ScoreTM of 17.31, with average download speeds of 22.84 Mbps and average upload speeds of 23.45 Mbps. The fixed network award is based on 29,076,090 user-initiated Speedtest nationwide for the same period.

PLDT has committed around US$ 5 billion for network upgrades from 2016 to 2020, with capital expenditures expected to reach P58 billion this year.

Underpinning this level of service is PLDT’s most extensive fiber network, which also supports Smart’s mobile network by providing high-capacity links for cellular base stations.

Level up to LTE in VisMin

Recently, Smart also fired up LTE in the Philippines’ northernmost province of Batanes, Puerto Princesa City in Palawan, and Sarangani.

Amid this ramped-up roll out, Smart is on track to meet its commitment to the National Telecommunications Commission to achieve 90% municipality coverage for 3G and 4G mobile broadband by this year.

To fully enjoy the improved Smart LTE network, customers are encouraged to upgrade to an LTE-capable smartphone and an LTE SIM.

Smart Prepaid and Smart Postpaid customers can check if their SIMs are LTE-ready by texting SIMCHECK to 5832 for free.

Smart, TNT and Sun customers can also easily upgrade to an LTE SIM without changing their existing number by going to a nearby Smart Store or through an LTE-Ready Self-Service Upgrade SIM, which is available for P10 at Smart loading partners nationwide, with free 1GB data valid for three days upon upgrading.
