Wazzup Pilipinas! What happened last November 3-4, 2018 weekend Oz Goose National Championship Sailing? See the result above done by the master and the commander. But what matters most is that the sailors have a lot of fun. Aside from racing in Taal Lake to Hollywood costume party during Saturday night and victory party awarding on Sunday. So what we did is the we made a series of interview to most of participants and organizers.
From the Oz Goose race director that made the series of event happen, TLYC owner, pro sail athletes, boat racers, students, boat builders supporters, PWD's, kids and even spectators for the past 5 decades. The profile of racers were as young a 9 years old and as old as 59 year old boat designer. We stayed at the stationary leisure boat where the geese circumnavigate.
Which is actually the best view to watch the boat race. Just like running or your regular motorsport race. Rerouting regatta oz goose race de taal on the great volcano lake tour. Alternate race tracks option, as the race director and benevolent commodore dictator adjusts the track guidance lead and tail boat.
According to waves and wind direction blows can change in every minute. So the race is on, no matter how strong is the waves and strong is the wind for tough oz goose master sailor crew and the supreme commander skipper. While we enjoy the leisure boat steady on paddock as the Oz Geese does circumferential glide

For better view see top view drone shots and video link here. Also great facial expression shots by our WP team here. Although our energetic Chief Ross did upload dozens of videos, Collin does thousands of creative photos we still have lots of photo-video interview to be uploaded later. So see the Wazzup Pilipinas fan page for more info.
In this race I also have a chance to talk with extra ordinary people that has disability since birth. That can perform at par if not exceed regular human. Who got a tremendous amount of work ethic, can even sail, run and swim better than me.
Jut like what Peter said, sailing if for tough people with strong personality and character. Its good to be back in the great Volcano lake again after 7 years when I just started to do blog. The 1st time Commodore taught me how balance, play with wind and do Hobie over-speeding just like test driving a supercar in NLEX road driving fast - without water violation.
Company who sponsored this kind of activity will see the value beyond sailing. That it is, - more than just a sport but also as a science, critical thinking, livelihood and emergency flood disaster advocacy. Roy and his team will teach-guide you how to build the boat. And to be mentally tough even with even the most angry winds-waves the unexpected unwanted event at waterworld adventure.
Going to Taal Lake Batangas and back to Manila we did a lot of boat stories with our driver Nate and his partner Shirley. Which happens to be an Indie film maker, boat builder and US Navy veteran. We talked about our great adventures of the in the 7 seas including top boats, airshows, power drive road trip travels, aircraft carriers and submarines ever built.
It was a great action adventure sport sail Motorsport travel weekend. Reminds me of my 2 weeks expedition sail tour with the 1 one of the world's best design and largest sailboat from Amsterdam recently this year.
