Picture Paints a Thousand Words

Wazzup Pilipinas!
Visitors both young and old at the Interactive Energy Expo 2018 explore their creativity by coloring pages that illustrate the importance of energy in our lives.

This is one of the many activities awaiting guests at the exhibit being held at the SM City Fairview Activity Center. Opened yesterday (6 July) in cooperation with the Philippine Information Agency, the two-day expo is part of the Department of Energy's E-Power Mo movement, which continues to encourage consumers to take charge of their energy consumption choices intelligently.

Up Close and Personal
Guests get to closely examine the e-trike and hybrid vehicle on display at the two-day (6 and 7 July) International Energy Expo 2018 of the Department of Energy (DOE) and the Philippine Information Agency being held at the SM City Fairview Activity Center.

The DOE donated 200 e-trikes to Marawi to help in the city's rehabilitation, while 900 units have been turned over to select parts of Metro Manila, such as Pateros (400 units), Valenzuela (250 units), Muntinlupa (150), and Las PiƱas (100).

The Japanese government donated the hybrid cars as part of their non-project grant. The DOE is distributing said hybrid cars to government agencies nationwide and to provinces hit by super typhoon Yolanda.
