Lenovo, one of the world’s biggest technology companies, is once again the official technology partner of the Ten Accomplished Youth Organizations (TAYO) Awards Foundation, Inc., the country’s premier award-giving body that recognizes and supports the outstanding contributions of youth organizations in the country.

Now on its 15th year, the TAYO Awards is an annual search for exceptional organizations of young Filipinos that have made notable contributions to the progress and betterment of their communities or schools through innovative and valuable projects.
“Our ‘Different is Better’ philosophy is built around a fundamental belief that innovation is the best way to address challenges and embrace progress. We are pleased to once again partner with TAYO Awards Foundation. This partnership gives us the perfect opportunity to recognize our hardworking youth who are relentless in making the world a better place through technology,” said Michael Ngan, Country General Manager of Lenovo Philippines.
As technology partner, Lenovo will be providing the laptops and tablets that will be used throughout the screening and awarding process for the TAYO 15 Awards. Lenovo will also be awarding all 10 winners Lenovo devices.
Further, Lenovo will be awarding a special citation to one carefully selected organization. Called ‘Lenovo Outstanding Tech Visionary, the award is given to the organization that “embodies the ‘Different is Better’ mindset by being unafraid to stand out and be different, and leverages technology to affect positive change in society.”
Last year, Davao-based social enterprise GO2 Virtualahan was conferred said award.
Lenovo has been the exclusive technology partner of the TAYO Awards Foundation, Inc. for the TAYO Awards since 2012.
