City of Dreams recently held their Chinese New Year festivities to celebrate the Year of the Fire Rooster last January 27, 2017.
The celebration begun at 4 PM on the Upper Ground level. Red lanterns adorned the activity area. It is believed that hanging red lanterns drives off bad luck based on Chinese New Year traditions. Red decorations, roosters and lucky symbols completed the festive look!
At these booths, City of Dreams patrons got to experience Chinese arts and crafts such as Caricatures and Chinese Calligraphy. There were also Fortune Telling booths at the activity strip.
And the Lunar New Year celebration won't be complete without generous gift-giving!
Guests were also treated to surprise freebies as the Gods of Fortune roamed and gave out angpaos spreading luck and prosperity to all.
And while you are there, you can have your photo taken with the Chinese Gods of Fortune to usher in wealth and prosperity this Year of the Rooster.
The celebration extends up to the weekend so go and visit at the Upper Ground level of City of Dreams Manila to see cultural performances by dancers, opera singers and Wushu martial artists as they take place.
