It was an action-packed weekend as Wheeltek Motor Sales Corporation and Suzuki Philippines Inc. held the first ever Raider R150 Track Day at the Tarlac Circuit Hill on May 28, 2017 which was attended by hundreds of club and independent riders. Known for creating so many firsts in the country’s motorcycle community, Wheeltek, in partnership with Suzuki Philippines gave opportunity to everyone to try the Raider R150 on the racetrack for free.
The activity aims to gather all riders to feel the power and test the performance of the Underbone King on the circuit. And the more than 400 riders (both Suzuki and nonSuzuki users) took this chance to experience the highly acclaimed motorcycle which has been dominating the streets for more than a decade already. The riders geared up and owned the racetrack during their 10-minute lap with much enthusiasm. Understanding that the Raider R150 is a fast motorcycle they went to familiarization on the first laps then proceeded to their comfortable speed on the next ones.
On top of the free track ride, Wheeltek and Suzuki also prepared a lot of other exciting activities for the participants such as custom-bike contest, stunt shows, dance performances, games as well as photo op with Suzuki ladies. A special promo on the Raider R150 was also offered by Wheeltek with low downpayment of Php 5,900 (from usual Php 9,900, promo is until June 2, 2017) and a free polo shirt plus the existing Suzuki free full face helmet and riding jacket. Complete line-up of Suzuki products were also seen on display as well as the highly anticipated big bikes to arrive this year – GSXR1000R and the SV-650A.
Present at the event were Wheeltek Motor Sales Corporation President Mr. Reynaldo Odulio Sr., PhD with wife and VP for Finance Mrs. Teresita Odulio, VP for Sales and Marketing Mr. Roscoe Odulio, Sales and Marketing Head Ms. Anna Maniquiz, Marketing Manager Mr. Mark Chuidian as well as Suzuki Philippines Regional Sales Manager for North Luzon Mr. Erick Fernandez and Regional Sales Manager for South Luzon Mr. Mitsunori Shiraishi.
