Water Philippines Opens its 4th Edition with the First Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency

The 4th staging of Water Philippines 2017, co-locating the first-ever Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RE EE) Philippines 2017, opens on a high note as the most prominent personalities in the water and waste water industry gather during the Opening Ceremonies.
Sen. Cynthia A. Villar, the Chairperson of the Senate Committee on Environment and Natural Resources, leads the Opening Ceremony as she emphasizes the importance of water sanitation and vital reforms in her Keynote Speech. "We must bear in mind that sanitation towards national sustainability is a shared responsibility", she also added.
As emphasized by Mr. M. Gandhi, President of UBM Exhibitions Philippines Inc., this year’s edition is 30% bigger featuring an even wider scope of the latest and best in water supply and sanitation, sewerage, industrial wastewater practices, trends and technologies.
“As we are about to begin the 4 th edition of Water Philippines 2017 and 1st edition of RE EE Philippines 2017, we are always reminded of how these two events create significant difference not only to businesses in the Water and Renewable Energy industry, but most importantly, its benefit to the community by sharing valuable information and knowledge to our practitioners and even to the end-users”, Mr. Gandhi also added.
The Opening Ceremony was followed by the Ribbon-Cutting and Opening of the exhibition which was again led by the Keynote Speaker Sec. Mark A. Villar and Senator Cynthia Villar. Other VIPs include Mr. Ramoncito Fernandez, President of Maynilad Water Services Inc.; Atty. Gerardo Ilagan of PWWA; Dato Tan Sri Azumi, Co-Chairman of UBM Asia; and Dato Teo Yen Hua, Advisor of UBM Water Series.
This year, Water Philippines is bringing together over 380 participating exhibitors from 20 countries including 8 international and regional pavilions from China, Germany, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and USA. This wide array of participating companies and key players in the Water and Wastewater industry is set to present a complete overview of their products, technologies and innovations.
It is also expecting to gather some 8,500 quality trade visitors from 2 27 countries including top practitioners, industry professionals and thought leaders. It promises to be an outstanding on-the-spot market of products, connections and opportunities for building strong partnerships and sourcing valuable information on advanced technologies.
Water Philippines 2017 is also co-located with 4 specialized events including Pumps and Valves (P&V), Pipes and Tubings (P&T), and the first-ever Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RE EE) Philippines 2017. Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RE EE) Philippines 2017, tagged as Asia’s Leading Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Exhibition, will happen for the first time in the Philippines with the goal of empowering future energy solutions through Solar, Wind and Hydropower, Geothermal, Biomass, Biofuel and Energy Efficiency. The leading local and international renewable energy companies on board to showcase their products and technologies on solar energy, biomass and biofuel, wind energy, hydro and geothermal energy sources. For the first time, there will be Expert Dialogue sessions both for Water Philippines and Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RE EE) Philippines 2017.
