Industry Experts to Answer Biggest Real Estate Questions at Lamudi Housing Fair

Wazzup Pilipinas!

From how to enter the Airbnb business to the benefits of a rent-to-own home, some of the property industry’s burning questions will be tackled by experts in the field

Several experts of the real estate industry will gather together and answer the most frequently asked questions regarding property buying, selling, and more at the Lamudi Housing Fair, happening on November 18–20, 2016, at Megatrade Hall 3, SM Megamall, Mandaluyong.

“We’re very excited to hold the first-ever Lamudi Housing Event. We’re working with a lot of great minds in the industry to ensure that attendees will come to the event and increase their knowledge of how to carry out their real estate transactions successfully, especially in the midst of the Philippine property boom,” said Lamudi Philippines founder and CEO Jacqueline van den Ende.

The three-day event will consist of several seminars covering various real estate topics from property buying and financing to selling and marketing, as well as predictions about the Philippine real estate landscape. The series of seminars will open with a talk from Colliers International Manager of Research Joey Bondoc on current market conditions and where the biggest investment opportunities can be found, as well as his outlook regarding the most profitable real estate locations in the Philippines.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of foreclosed properties, and where do you find the best inventories? Property Forum Founder Noli Alleje answers these questions, and goes over the process of transferring a foreclosure’s title. StreetPark Productions Executive Producer and Project: Smart Home Founder John Aguilar discusses the lucrative nature of building and selling, and explains the best way to source suppliers and contractors. Philippine Property Expert CEO Joanne Almaden provides her two cents on the ups and downs of investing in, and how to make money on, pre-selling condos. And on hand to educate investors who are considering venturing into short-term rentals will be Airbnb Superhost Leny Yusay.

To lay down the whole process of buying a home from the required documents to the negotiation process is Genevieve Bonquin, owner of Greenhuts Realty and licensed real estate broker, consultant, and appraiser. Pinnacle Real Estate Consulting Services, Inc. Director for Research and Consulting Jojo Romarx Salas will help settle the debate between renting and buying, and offer his insight on whether investing in a condo is a smart decision. And Richard Caravajal, Philgems Realty CEO/President, will enlighten guests with a seminar on the benefits of investing in rent-to-own properties.

“Investing in real estate is a big move, whether for aspiring homeowners or big business owners, and our hope is that people who attend the Lamudi Housing Fair will be able to use the learnings they gain at these talks to make smart investment decisions,” explained van den Ende, who will also be speaking during the event about online property selling.

Aside from seminars, the three-day event will also feature property auctions by RCBC, PNB, and My Saving Grace Realty & Development Corp.; sponsor presentations by Solid Pattern, Hoppler, and Infinite Edge Modern Homes; games, and prizes for the first 100 event attendees.
