The Nissan Altima. Now With a Refreshed New Design
Wazzup Pilipinas!
Nissan Philippines Inc. (NPI) takes premium driving experiences a class above the rest, with the introduction of a refreshed Nissan Altima model at the 6th Philippine International Motor Show.
“Because you deserve a ride that keeps up with your drive, every facet of the new Nissan Altima is designed and built to ensure that nothing holds you back.” Ramesh Narasimhan, NPI President and Managing Director, said. “It is the dynamic sedan that matches your relentless drive for success.”
TAKING COMMAND OF THE ROAD
The new Nissan Altima’s redesigned looks takes charge from the get-go, making an unmistakable impression of leadership. Starting with the strong contouring lines, a redesigned front fascia, to the brilliant LED headlamps, the Nissan Altima’s overall external redesign commands a strong presence on the road.
Inside, the new Nissan Altima maintains its dignified air of style and substance as it blends comfort with luxury. A new smart cockpit makes for easier multitasking. Switches on the steering wheel allows drivers to switch modes – audio control, drive computer, phone connectivity, and cruise control – intuitively to avoid distractions on the road. Sophistication is underscored by the choice of premium materials for its appointments, such as leather power seats, 9 speaker Bose audio system, push button start switch, and sunroof.
Powering the new Altima is a 2.5L CVT engine, delivering 180PS power with 243 Nm torque, for a smooth yet powerful drive. The CVT transmission expands the gear ratio, leading to improved fuel economy and acceleration for a premium driving feel. The new Nissan Altima also features a new multi-link suspension with Active Under-steering control for superior handling and luxurious riding comfort.
Safety can also be seen in how the new Nissan Altima includes in-features such as airbags, speed sensing door locks, speed-sensing Hydraulic Electric Power steering, and Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) with Active Understeer Control, an advanced electronic driving aid that minimizes understeer in dynamic driving and emergency maneuvers for a more confident and safer approach.
For comfort, good looks and quality of ride, the new Nissan Altima is a good choice in its class. The 2.5L CVT Nissan Altima is available for Php1,745,000, and comes in Black Obsidian, Pearl White and Cayenne Red.
