Wazzup Pilipinas!
Poco Deli, has a new branch located at One Parkade building 7th Avenue corner 28th street in Bonifacio Global City (BGC) in Taguig city.
Wazzup Pilipinas spent the evening with an awesome food tasting event organized by Zomato Philippines, the leading restaurant portal and community for foodies. Zomato also has a mobile app where you can order for home delivery.
As usual, I'm the earliest who arrived, and had to wait more than an hour for the other invited guests but that's alright because I prefer to be early than late which gives me a greater chance to talk with the owners or organizers of the event. Many opportunities comes my way whenever I'm punctual at events.
Poco Deli is your little neighborhood delicatessen known for the finest artisanal sausages and meats, select cheeses, imported wines, and great coffee. What they serve are my kind of meals if I want to go carnivorous for a food binge night munching on great meat complemented by their excellent cheese and wines selection. Needless to say, you'll encounter big flavors when you dine at Poco Deli.
They sell the meats so you can actually bring home these gastronomical wonders and be assured of quality handcraft deli. All branches, namely Kapitolyo, BGC, and Ayala Triangle, offer the same quality dishes they have been known for several years.
I would love to visit all of their branches especially the one in Kapitolyo, Pasig since that's the nearest branch to me. I would probably hot two birds in one stone by visiting also their coffee shop known for great coffee as well.
I haven't visited their other branch so I couldn't compare the restaurant ambiance. Though the evening was dimmed and partially lighted with candles making it cozy and romantic especially for couples. That may be true even at earlier hours because when we arrived, couples have been coming in and out so I figured this must be a great dating venue if you really want to impress your date with exquisite meal choices.

We were served with Sausage Platter, Cold Cuts and Cheese Platter, Bacon Slabs, Corned Beef Sandwich, New York Pastrami Sandwich, with Blackout Chocolate Cake and Rustic Chocolate Cake for dessert. Red wine was served all throughout the evening and we capped it off with coffee since they also specialize in coffee for having a coffee shop in Kapitolyo, Pasig called Epic Coffee Roastery which is near their other branch.
My favorite among the dishes served is the Bacon Slabs known to be made from the finest pork belly imported from France. This is truly a sumptuous slab of meat that you'll devour within minutes because you can't stop eating it. The matching egg makes it alike a first-class "silog" dish that's elevated to the extreme. I would surely return to Poco Deli just for this alone.
For the sausages, their best-seller is the Kielbasa, but I liked the Nuernberger more. Aside from the two, they also have Italian, Chorizo, Wagyu, Lamb and a lot more. All are definitely worthy to be tried and for sure, you'll come back for more. Better order their sausage platter so you could try out at least half a dozen of these sausages.
Their cheeses truly complement their meats, from pork to chicken to beef, they are all superb in taste and deserves an applause.
You should also try their sandwiches. We tried their corned beef and pastrami and both were satisfying and filling. They are really your money's worth. But I prefer the Pastrami more than the Corned Beef mainly because it has a tastier meat.
For dessert, I loved the Rustic Chocolate Cake more than the Blackout Chocolate Cake because of the layered presentation. But both were delightful, not too sweet to make it a pleasure eating up to the last bite.
