Lots of lovely ladies flaunted their stunning figures and voluptuous assets wearing flattering swimsuits that will surely put you in awe at first sight. The swimsuit competition has always been the hardest in judging as we are all mostly looking for that perfect shape, skin tone and flawless complexion that we would normally find from Fil-Am or half-blooded candidates with the advantage of a foreign nationality.
Depending on the beauty standards of the judges, we would sometimes find it difficult to predict who would win in a swimsuit competition but having a sexually appealing whiter skin complexion has always been proven most popular.
Aside from the amazing facial features that would usually attract us at first sight, majority of Filipinas might be at a disadvantage when it comes to height and skin tone because those with pure Filipino blood are mostly short in height and fair or dark in complexion. Only when they inherit the physical traits of non-Filipino parents does an individual get to acquire a beauty not seen from average Filipinas. Multi-racial relationships have continuously gone big in number as the world now seems to be very small especially with the easy access in communication brought about by the Internet and social media. Many can now easily reach out and keep in touch with many others living or working at other countries.
However, eventhough the Miss Tourism Philippines candidates do have half-Filipina candidates, the most important is that they recognize their origins and embrace the fact that they are, one way or the other, still pure Filipinas by heart.
