Flash Plus 2: Available Exclusively at Lazada on May 31

The new Flash Plus 2 mobile phone will be exclusively available for P6990 (2GB) at Lazada on May 31, 2016. A 3GB version will also be available 1 month after for P8490. The Helio P10 processor powered smartphones are available in fashionable Luna Silver and Venus Gold.

A special launch was held by Flash Philippines on May 24, 2016 at the Penthouse level of Lepanto Building in Paseo de Roxas, Makati. Mr. Lei Zhang, Flash Philippines Country Manager, was present to answer our questions about the phones specifications and features. With him at the event were Sheree Gae Gayas, Flash Philippines Country Marketing Manager, and Kenneth Tung, Flash Philippines Business Development Manager fro E-Commerce. Also present was Inanc Balci, CEO and co-Founder of Lazada.

It was on August 2013 when the first Flash was introduced by Alcatel only to the Indonesian and Indian market. It was on May 2015 when Alcatel launched the Flash Plus exclusively through online shopping portal Lazada and broke records by selling 28 units per second. After a few months, September 2015, they launched Flash 2 exclusively again through Lazada with a tagline "Let's Mobigraph." It was only on May 17, 2016 when they introduced via online Flash Plus 2 or the More Than Metal. Starting May 2016 Flash is now an independent brand separating from Alcatel which will focus on its own line of products.

The brand is now focusing on targeting the Millennials which comprises of individuals ages 30 and below. They intend to reach out to those who would love the now bigger screen of 5.5 inches that would be better for watching videos or playing games.

Since the mobile phone is now slimmer, the design warrants the dual sim cards and SD card slots to be now inside the metal casing of the phone for a cleaner look. The metal casing underwent a 7 process and 240 minute refine technics.

For security of the phone, they included a front-facing fingerprint scanner with its fast 360 precise identification which can unlock the phone in just 0.5 seconds. It also allows you to activate at most five programs via your finger print scans. You can assign a finger for every app (like Facebook,Twitter, Instagram, etc.)which you use most frequently so you can immediately activate it when you scan one of your fingers.

You can also enjoy better Hi-Fi music that will surely change the way a user experience music using 3.2 NXP9890 audio amplifier professional Hi-Fi chipset to produce robust sound. There's also a Flash Mix where everyone can be a musician by being able to mix two songs together like a DJ.

The rear camera is 13 megapixels and has a fast and accurate 0.1 second Mixed Aurofocus solution and a PDAF autofocus solution to give you more vivid and naturally-colored pictures. There's a Dual-color Real-time flash light that produces 324 flash combinations.

The front camera has a front high CRI LED Flash for taking gorgeous selfies. Taking a selfie in low-light environment is no longer a problem using the Flash Plus 2.

They also have a kid mode where sounds are produced to attract the kids' attention so you can atke a photo while the child is distracted by a sound of an animal, a train, or something else.

Of course, we cannot enjoy all these features if our batteries will not last so in cooperation with Texas Instruments, we can now recharge our smartphone 3000mAh batteries for only 30 minutes and reach up to 80% charge. That's 3 times faster than the other mobile phones out there. That's 10-hours talk time non-stop.

Flash Philippines is hopeful that the Flash Plus 2 will break the record of the Flash Plus since it is the successor and many would definitely find the price very affordable if consumers will base their decision comparing the featurs of Flash Plus 2 with the other phones currently available in the market.
