Last Saturday, I went to what is known as one of the happiest place on earth - the Paradizoo Theme Park and Residence Inn - located in Tagaytay, Cavite. It is indeed a great summer animal and farm tour destination that's worth it to be included among our travel itineraries.
We had organic snacks and tanglad juice at this marvelous Zoomanity farm. Here, we witnessed the Red Magic Show and Musical Entertainment after our exhilarating zipline ride, and interacted with the animals - tigers, lions, monkey, snakes, birds, tarantulas, camel, ostriches, horses and lots of other exotics animals. And for the finale we saw the soft launch of Residence Inn's millions lights.
Earlier, as we ventured forward further into Tagaytay vicinity, the cool breeze of the place promised to make this event a very memorable southern trip. Arriving at the place, the 12 hectare farm offers a peaceful sanctuary to enjoy farming and animal interaction. As viral as Carrot Man and his numerous spoofs, here we even had opportunities to visit pet cemeteries and a Noah's Ark miniature. It maybe my second visit to the place, but it seems always a good feeling to visit nature and the animals again.

In Paradizoo, The latest update is that they have now a trailer house, and a big guest room for rent that can accommodate up to 10 people. There's also a house for motorist located in trailer container that can be rented in a short period of 3 hours. This is aside from tent camping in which you may rent or bring your own tent to really feel the forest or jungle overnight just as how Boy Scouts do it.
When I rode the camel, I jokingly said I smoke Camel and could feel dirt like riding a bike in a Motorcross. This animal is impressive because it is tough enough to survive in the dessert without food or drink for 3 months. The camel often gets crunchy camote as a reward from its caretaker. When I saw a bunch of horses, I said I just switched the majority of my smoke to Marlboro. Later, I saw a cow and said "I always drink you milk." But then the Carabao was looking bad at me and told me "Your halo-halo is better if it has my milk!" and that's according to celebrity Chef Claude Tayag.
Those crazy Ace Ventura images started to play within my head when we continued our tour passing by a goat licking Flintstones vitamins. Then there was that lamb that we passed by that looked more like a deliciously grilled Lamb Chop to my sight (I must be getting hungry by that time).
As we passed by lots of fruits, flowers and vegetables at their farm, I said hi to the Mickey Mouse plant and the Bee Farm.
While entering Residence Inn, we surprisingly saw a photo of Blogger-in-Chief Ross Del Rosario where he is shown feeding the birds at their Bird Thrill attraction. It was printed on a big tarpaulin welcoming guests as they entered the establishment. He was actually not aware that the theme park used his photo that they got from his blog after his own visit at their place. Should he be getting a talent fee for it? Lol!
Later on, we met with the CEO of the company, Mr. Robert Yupangco, who told us he was inspired to setup the theme parks after he traveled around the world. His aim is to share with the Filipino people the same experience. Together with nearby hotel partners, he then led the ribbon cutting of the special Lenten opening of Power of Litez featuring 1 million lights. He then asked me how the million lights stairway looked like. I just replied it's "world class."
The chief aim of the animal theme park and hotel was to promote world local tourism - to provide great tour destinations that will attract both local and foreign tourists.
Residence Inn's new attraction is composed of home grown talents and performers doing great acts like magic shows every weekends. There's also comedy, musical and romantic live shows that will definitely entertain the whole family. Zoomanity theme parks continue to innovate new ways to raise the bar and level of service that will make every Filipino proud.
Ride the zipline, eat bulalo at their restaurant, and witness the majestic view of Taal Volcano via cable car. The experience at their theme parks is really worth the travel time from Manila to Tagaytay. So come and visit zoomanity.com.ph and feel really awesome to experience these travel destinations. Mind you, they also have other theme parks at other parts of the country like the Zoobic Safari and Zoocobia Fun Zoo in Subic, plus the Zoocolate Thrills in Bohol...and very soon is the Zootopia Ski Resort in Japan. Now, that's definitely world-class!
