The Philippine Junior Marketing Association once again pulls off one of the most hype-generating, out of the ordinary conferences held in the Mall of Asia Arena last January 31, 2016.
This groundbreaking event has been attended with 8,000 delegates from all over the country, making it the biggest student conference of the year.
“McDonalds Digital Disruption”
Setting the benchmark as the first speaker, Ms. Margot Torres, the Executive Vice President of McDonalds Philippines, the official TRENDSETTER who launched plenty notable McDonald’s campaigns setting the bar for all fast-food trends, shared her expertise in high-return value risk-taking when utilizing emerging trends. Indeed risk has its rewards especially in marketing; Ms. Torres confirmed this strongly.
“The Next Online Sensation”
Shifting into a more lighter and comic tone, the second speaker, a very renown online action star and a hunk to netizens everywhere, Mr. Ramon Bautista, the action star, professor, and best-selling author, summarized how to become an online personality. He stated that his history of being the proud and fearless most confident person that he can be opened ways to suit every business organization’s needs.
“The Facebook Status That Launched a Thousand Boats”
Falling under the lines of Corporate Social Responsibility, Mr. Jay Jaboneta, The Co-Founder of the Yellow Boat Foundation Inc., the third speaker of the day touched our hearts with, what was only a simple mission to get children across rivers to their school in the cities, an act of sheer kindness all the same. Mr. Jaboneta, with regards to the Yellow Boat Foundation, shared to us also the power of social media, and how your posts should look, and what they should contain, if you want to garner a large audience that supports your cause.
“Online Video: A Creative Canvass Like No Other”
Mr. Ken Lingan, Google Philippine’s Country Manager, which showed us the immense effectivity of Videos online. He said that this is the most prominent online medium to deilver messages, and become the viral entitiy that would soon create the largest amount of contagion. He then leaves us with the resources and knowledge to become future renown viral marketers, and video-trendsetters.
MADWORLD 2016 is indeed a milestone for the Philippine Junior Marketing Association and they sure couldn’t have done it without the unending support of its 40,000 members and generous sponsors from all over the Philippines.
